Guy named "*******" or something like that, any person with American flag next to their name, he would call a "terrorist" and other assorted nasty names, then try to ram you off the road.. all because of the flag next to your name.. Gotta love the bigots that think they are holy.

I have no idea if that's his/her name. It was ******* something.

I changed it in case I guessed correctly (it was a couple weeks ago).

Hosted a lobby for drifting last night, had 12 people in it all getting along with no complaints. Then a guy comes in after the room has been solid for over two hours without a complaint and proceeds to fly off the track and can't hold his poop* together. Demands I change the track and after I refuse he goes to change cars. Then he gets mad as hell that I restricted it to FR only, and can't use his Awd or aids. Calls me some lovely names aswell the other guys in the room who had nothing to do with it. I suggested that if he want to use tcs, Awd and an easier course that he should start his own lobby or join one with settings he likes. I guess I kicked a hornets nest as I couldn't even understand what he was calling me do to the volume of his voice. I dismissed him from the lobby at that point.I received hate mail for the next hour informing me that I'm gay and I suck buttocks and all that other good stuff you hear from a manchild in distress. This both put a smile on my face and made me sad that there are people we have to share the planet with that act this way. It'd entertaining atleast.
 
Worst online was me last night.
Are there online tire and car problems? Guess I need to search

Last night jumped in a room after playin with a friend. Was using sport hard tires. No problem
He left so I went In a spec lobby and they were using one make cars

First entered and still had my old car equipped and wouldnt let me enter with provided car. I switch tires again and still didn't let me in. Says tc. Even after I turned off. One more try then let me in but it didn't change tires. Exit and come back. Tires read ok. Race hards. But drove like was still in sport hard. What gives

Then we switch tracks and cars. This time the host was still in first one make car (vw) and the rest if us were in Audi Quattro rally car. ????? Seemed all messed up
I felt like a newbie. Was so weird.

I then left and bought the vw scirocco race car, keep stock no change. Had race hards. Enter my own lobby and car tires handle right.

Mildly off topic, but is there a thread to share your BEST online experiences? Just wondering as I couldn't find one. Thanks!
 
I came across Gran Turismo 6... It's impossible to have some nice racing with Fast Degradation and obligation of using two compounds! Why do we keep having that bug after a pitstop?? It makes me 2 seconds slower in any tyre and for sure I have to search the references all over again because the car behaviour is new after that pitstop... It's extra-annoying and there's nothing we can do to solve it...!

This reminds me, I once got control of a lobby and changed the room title to "No checks! (Czechs welcome)". I saw no Czechs though.

R.E the last bit- tune your car to the lower compound of the two. Get used to both in the practise/qualifying and go with gut instinct when driving. The 2 seconds should come down a bit.

And people who join endurance rooms and if someone overtakes them within first 5 laps they leave. Whats the point to even join endurance race if you dont have patience? I never have this problem for example with aussies or germans. But if spanish or italian guy starts to scream "START THE RACE" I know they will bail out within the first 5 laps.

1: Because creating your own room is difficult. It's easier to "force" a host from your country to change his room from a nice 300-ish hp, Sport Soft WTCC room at Grand Valley East to an unlimited X2011 fest at Route X and call them bad things when they don't. Happened at least twice to me on GT5 (yet to try random GT6 rooms).

2: Let me just leave you with this (contains intentional spelling errors):

"OK so im in this 50lap race and im 5/16 on de grid and imma go for the inside and divebomb every1 haha how u liek that im 1st but I dont no y u brake for a corner so im in the gravvel and *Dramatic music* THAT S:censored: OF A B:censored: OVERTOOK ME, Y DID U DO THAT!?! *baby crying, unplugs PS3 from power source while crying*"

Nurb race lobby.Bunch of guys racing GT500'S and one viper.Me rolling around in my civic type R,came in first by +7.8secs and was kicked for "hacking" :/.
Drift lobby,got kicked for calling a guy an idiot after he tried to explain to me that a 65' silvia was not a drift car you could only drift popular cars(rx7,370z ect)

Drag lobby,I asked if everyone only knew how to drive straight(people were basically playing bumper cars,it was annoying)guy growled at me and said "if your so good beat me to the finish",he lost it on the first corner then kicked me

Had a host change the room from a London cops lobby (well run, no complaints) to Chamonix.

Then leave.

Also had a cop room (as that's all I seem to do now) where the host was poor. Letting everyone speed. I was in Zooey and cruising behind a guy in his black... Something or other, doing around 70mph. Suddenly, a pack of cars comes and overtakes us, or hits us.

Host is behind them and suddenly stops me. Ok, maybe he (like many others) believes the Rocket is a full on racecar.

"1/3 speeding"
"When?"
"Before. You were racing. I saw it."
"I was behind [Noname] the whole time."

What annoyed me most about this is rather than focus on the 4 cars which passed us, he stopped me and let them get away, free to race around some more. He left a little after.
