Hi all,
Got it on pc using G27 no force feedback at all tried slide bar up and down different profiler setting but no luck anyone had this or know a fix ?
Shame coz this is a massive improvement over last years effort and I just wana Rally

I've got a G27 too, have you tried restarting your PC or anything? Do you have the latest version of Logitech Game Profiler? I'm using 5.10.127, but it's from 2010 so I would assume you have that version too. I did have a glitch where the FFB stopped working for one stage but it came back again on the very next stage, so I don't know what the problem is, sorry.

Which OS are you running and is it 32 or 64 bit?

 Just did a 10 stage championship, finished 4th, 1 stage win, and went from Level 7 to 100!  Now 35th in world out of 246 :D

Ok from the top yes 3 restarts 2 reinstalls
yup on 5.10.127
and windows 7 64 bit
i dug my Logitech Driving Force GT and that's the same something not right here!!!
Also F10 key don't work for changing view in replay not a deal breaker I know but its more of the stuff that let wrc 3 down

Holy heck. I'm now 2nd in world on overall leaderboards.
That's because I can't get online yet to upload my times :sly:

I also didn't get the game until this afternoon due to Amazon's not getting the stock in as expected...maybe a distribution problem.

I will settle in for a full-on session tonight - well impressed with it all so far. That's a lot of improvements they have in there 👍

Almost zero to no FFB wit My CSW which is off course a deal breker.

They do have triple screen support, but there are stil a lot of issues.

So, still no sign of classic or Group B cars? I enjoyed the demo a lot, but it's kind of a dealbreaker for me.

:indiff:

EC SIM HARDWARE posted this on there facebook page
Like Professional Motorsport Simulation Hardware manufacturer we offer to our customer a huge Simulation Software compatibility with a title list that is extended day a day.

At the end of the present week WRC 4 (PC) title will see the light.
Our intentions are to include like every new title to our compatibility list and try to offer better posible support.

We love Motorsport and our passion come up thanks to the Rally discipline!

It would be nice to make available another ADVANCED Physics Engine and ADVANCED Plugin for WRC 4 (PC) title or you prefer original default content?

Such as? I've only played through the first three-day rally on career, that and done a single stage so far - all works just fine for me (on PS3.)

What's the force feed back like in PS3?
Have they expanded the steering angle this year?
180* didn't feel right last year.

I've not experienced many issues on PC with my G27 and triple monitors besides the glitch where FFB stopped working for one stage. There's another where news 'articles' have %%Pl_Surname%% instead of my profile's actual surname, but... Yeah, that's not exactly major. What problems are you having? Just the FFB thing? I wonder what the deal with that is, given I have a very similar setup (wheel and OS) to daguru and yet his FFB is broken while mine isn't.

I don't know why I'm responding to this as I'm not playing on PS3, but there's an option for 900° steering in the PC version and it seems like a pretty straight port (apart from the launcher).

Now there is a option for 900 degrees and also clutch and H-shift. The FFB is a little weaker I have it on max and in wrc3 I had it on 3 clicks.

Here's a video I just made. Great that they support triples, 900 degrees steering and multiple peripherals now.

Sorry I'm a bit late replying to this - I use the DS3 so cannot really offer any info there. I suspect what Neema says is correct though.

Loved Rally Sweden with the changes to physics and stages - especially the elevation changes and the rumps feel far more realistic now and less like you are about to die horribly on landing :sly:

My earlier concerns about the hairpins being generic is, I am glad to say, unfounded - they all feel appropriate to their country location.

EDIT: I also like the variety of music this time around - I also liked the dub-step in 3 but this is more varied.

DOUBLE EDIT: I'm getting a ridiculous amount of PSN trophies it seems, almost for every step taken...quite odd.

very dissapointed with the graphics on PC, it has lazy console port written all over it.

Wait for the DLC I'd say - that's what has happened at least once before and I can't see 'em dropping their Group B beauties.

It's always been that way with this game - sorry, but a quick check on the WRC threads would have forewarned you of that...

EDIT: staying positive - I like the addition of the gravel sounds hitting the car underside - that quite adds to the feel of it.

Yeah I think most people who know the series don't buy it because of the graphics. Only done the first 2 rallies in career and I dont like that guy who does interviews in the loading screens lol.

Yeah, he can repeat himself a bit - nice bit of personalisation though. Wait until you read the e-mails :sly:

True point about the graphics, never been a massive selling point. Having said that, I'm happy however that it's improved so much from the start.

Oh god not even looked at them yet:crazy:. Yeah thats true massive improvement in visuals from the first game.

EDIT: also don't like how I was not prompted to select difficultly of A.I. I knew something was up after being 6 secs up after 1 split lol

Can someone here explain to me how to get online,...PC on Steam. Steam is running, but it says I have to activate via the email that was sent?! No email, checked junk folder too!

Yeah, my first rally was like that until I found the difficulty settings under game options. That could have been better flagged, but hey, it gets you digging around :sly:

Loving WRC2 class, got very handy on Italian, Portugal, and German rallies :D

I am pleased with WRC 4. Downloaded the demo and it felt nice and after some practice I'm now able to keep control, kind of. For some reason it's feeling much better than WRC 3, but I only did the demo version so don't know if the actual game was any better. I'm going to pick WRC 4 up soon :D About time too, last time I enjoyed rallying was with Virtual Rally. :D
