That's odd.. you should have at least received one. Same happened to me and I received the very last car I sent to the master acct.

These poor decisions by PD can be irritating. The whole gift thing happened while I was away from the PS3.

However, if n people were to get together and simultaneously use the gift feature to generate n cars, then gift n-1 of those cars to 1 person, then switch off the person who receives the cars each day/week/whenever, the limit could be easily bypassed. Not only that, but the number of cars a person would receive could be huge (n cars per day, a theoretical maximum of 100 per day on PSN).

Now whether anyone will go through with this or not...

Just gifted myself 2 kubels...only one came through, so I accepted that gift in my main account then went back to the bday account to see if I. Could gift one at a time by going to main account each time....no luck..

No, I meant gift one car. Go back to your main. Accept that single gift. Park in garage. Go back to your sub. Rinse and repeat.

Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to work. Just tested it. Maybe it is 1 gift per day now. It just erased another 908 I won. Sort of lame if PD put a stop to it. They are virtual cars that don't cost real money. They should just let people play how they want too.

yeah it is lame. hopefully someone can find another loophole. I'm still waiting for the hackers to have a 100% save someday. Ill just keep my fingers crossed on that one lol

*EDIT* Ok, I created another account and my second car was a 908 (what are the chances? lmao). I deleted the first car and never gifted it. I am going to try gifting it to my main to see what happens. If this doesn't work, I am guessing PD has limited the receiving of gifts to 1 per day. Hopefully not though as that would be ridiculous as well. Of course, having to race a Yaris is in the game so I won't put anything past PD. haha

I will report back if it works.

*EDIT 2* Ok, gifting this time is not even an option. Not sure why that is. I will hold onto the account until midnight PST and try again then. Maybe it will allow another gift for the day.

Well, I got it to work on the next account I created.

It originally would not let me gift any cars, The "Give to Friend" was greyed out, which is wierd considering I have all parental consent settings set to "None" (or is it "off"?).

Anyways, what I did was go to my Community page and select my main's name. I then chose to "Send Gifts --> Garage". I selected the new 908 I had and sent it right over. Showed up on my main's gift list no problem. Accepted it and parked it in the garage.

I am going to try gifting another car now to see what happens. I will report back if it works or not.

So the limit certainly looks like one only...after gifting the 2 kubels and only getting one, then trying to just gift another one at a time with no luck, I decided to delete the gave save a 3rd time, get my kubel...sell it for 73k on the dummy account then buy a toyota vitz for 14k and drop about 65k on performance parts to use in vitz specific race on main account...I'll just wait a day to gift it...but I did buy a 9k hyundai and gifted to my main account...it was lost too, so whatever pd did to fix this doesn't just look for more than one of the same car!

It tales about 5 min to set up an account.

It appears that you can only gift one car per day, HOWEVER, you don't have to gift the car you get. You can back out of GT5, delete your save, and try again until you get the car you want. So, if you don't mind the time it takes to back out, delete, restart, etc.. until you get the car you want than it is most definitely worth it.

Yeah, it is silly.

I don't plan to trade any of the cars I get from here. I am only using it to get my favorite race cars. I'd rather start driving them and having fun now rather than waiting weeks/months. My work/family life does not allow for too much "grinding".

I thought that too, however, if that were the case than I would still be able to delete my saves and keep getting gift cars on my sub-account. At 12am on my console clock I lost that ability because the day clicked over.

Birthday gifts are bound to your time zone which is set on ps3. You can use it to get back to your birthday if its not too late.
I could be wrong about gifts sending though, it was just an idea.

I think developers are bit angry now. Because the game took so much time to develop and it turned out it has such major flaw which spoils the game. These fancy cars are supposed to be a mark of big acomplishment but instead anyone could get them for nothing and in enormous quantities.
Some said that it wasn't cheating or they don't have time to get something. Obviously the game design wasn't meant for b-day gift abuse.
I used this flaw myself, however I think if you have to cheat in game than probably that game is just not for you.
