I think that I must be the only person that has yet to see this ugly pink vitz. what race was this? maybe I have just forgotten??

anyway i started with the pt maxed it out, got a miata maxed it out did the miata enduro then got my skyline.

sold the pt due to the fact i absolutley hate that car because of how much i had to drive it.

still have the skyline and the miata, my skyline has over a 1000 miles on it. i've put it to use

Suprised to see so many people started with the MX, also you all went to a really good 2nd car (I went MX5, RX7 then Skyline)

I love my skyline, bullet on wheels, faster over the 1/4 mile (400m) then the escudo.

I used the cheap MX-5 give it a Na tune+turbo full gears and do the speedway in the Beginner Granturismo cup then save for a TVR tuscan speed six but save about 200 grand

Ive won many a races with this car and even with all the races Ive done, it still has the most miles on it.
In the GT2 game, the first car I owned was the Honda Civic. That car as well was my most used car and the winningest.

Maybe it's just me, but my Vitz feels like it's on drugs. Even with some NA tuning work, it still takes forever to accelerate, yet it always seems to be at the redline, complaining for an upshift.

The handling balance is quite good for a FWD car but the engine acts like it's been snorting Oxy or something...

The Mazda mx-5 is the best car to start off with. i never sell any of my cars unless i get two of the excattly the same colour.

AE86 Trueno. Perhaps the MX-5 or Yaris had been a better choice. Oh well. I shall buy some other car the next time I start over, or maybe i'll take all gold from the B Licence. ;-)

The Trueno is a great choice for starters. It's cheap, which lets you add upgrades earlier. The engine can make great power with tuning and the chassis handles well.

I won a lot of races with mine before I got bored and sold it. When I win the Shigano AE86 you bet I'm not going to sell it!

That's true, but If I had gotten a Yaris or an MX-5, I could've gone straight to the Roadster Endurance or the Yaris cup after getting the licences. That way I could've gotten money faster.

I started out with the PT. it is almost 18K but i was able to do a lot of the races in the beginners league with very little mod. its a little heavy but sweet little sub-minivan. i mainly bought it for its looks but it handles pretty well with the weight it carries & drives well for a FF.

I actually started with 6 cars: the Mazda Miata RS, Mazda RX-8, Nissan Z Concept, Aston Martin Vanquish V12, Dodge Viper GTS-R Concept, and the Impreza Rally Car Prototype. I got these by getting all golds on all licenses, which is easier than it sounds.

Yeah, I went with the Mazda mx-5 also. I tried the pt cruiser before that, but you couldnt see over the top. Then I started my game over.
