My first game i got when buying the psx, original playstation was Final Fantasy 7, actually the reason i bought the system. Then i got Gran turismo 1-2.

don't remember the first game i got for playstation (2) but i know i wanted Gran Turismo (3) which consumed a good portion of my younger days.

I bought Playstation (3) for GT5 but my first game was GT5 Prologue, and Metal Gear 4 (bought the bundle). I still can't believe GT5 isn't out yet, but i cannot wait for when it does. 👍

Me too! Didn't expect to see somebody else mention it so recently in the thread. The 3d-ness and the color made it look so awesome for its time. I think I played Twisted Metal next. Final Fantasy VII soon after.

Does anyone remember demo one? That disc absolutely blew me away. That tech demo of the running T' Rex boggled my mind! And the game i played most on there was that awesome free roaming monster truck game. My obsession with driving games had begun.

I do, but I think my version was different to yours. The games I remember playing on my disc were the original Gran Turismo and Kula world(which was freaking awesome!!)

M very first playstation game was V-Rally. It was great, but the handling sucked. Took it back to the shop and got Toca 1 instead. Much better.

It has been to long (read: too much partying) to remember the first for certain. It might be Ace Combat or Crash. I remember the orange music disc that came with it because of that Cake song. I do remember the games I played constantly; Gran Turismo, Madden (don't know the year), Syphon Filter, Resident Evil 2, Tony Hawks Pro Skater, and Tekken 2.

I don't know if its handling or the control but I found issues with that game as well when I bought it. V-Rally 2 was generally ignored but I found it, umm you know online.

Its a much better game you should peep it if you're on a nostalgia trip.

I found myself playing that and Andretti Racing...

Ps2. I bought Gran Turismo 3 Apex for my brothers. The First game I played with my own was GT4
