Your Very First Playstation game?

I bought my first Playstation bundeled with Ridge Racer. The first game I bought was Battle Arena Toshinden.

I bought my Playstation 2 just to play GT3, which came bundeled.

I didn't get PS1, so the first PS game I bought is I believe GT3.

Granturismo was my first game. I rented it on the way home from Target in '96. after that I was like woe.

Then got need for speed

V-Rally

then got Heart of Darkness

then Odd world

Then got High Stakes

went and got Syphon Filter & 2

had to get test drive 3, 4, 5

GT2

Driver 1 & 2

Ridge racer & 2

Resident evil? <--never liked this game

Tenchu

Jarrett and Labonte: Stock Car Racing

And I forgot the rest. Now Im about 10-15 game into PS2

I suppose Im a real car nut huh?

Because my PS2 consists of

Metal gear, Aspec , Hot Pursuit, GTA and Vice City, Rumble racing, Crazy Taxi, Midnight Club & II, TXR0 & TXR3, Ford racing Evolution, Spy Hunter, and In the mail order is Underground.

When I sit and read all that, I think Im pathetic But then again am I that bad. I think Im on the right GT Forum. , Ahh whoo am i kidding, Im pathetic

My first PSX game, is, I want to say Resident Evil the direct port from Saturn. But I may be mistaken. I remember being in the umm 7th or 8th grade when the PS came out and I can remember getting one when I was in the 9th grade so I'd have to say it's probably that, but if it isn't I'll be back on to let you all know.

First Game Gran turismo. But before I bought that, I played the demo disk with Gran Turismo a million times. Ahh those were the days. Clubman stage route 5. With only 3 cars. The NSX, '96 Corvette, and Subaru WRX Rally Car.

i didnt get a ps1, i had a n64. first nintendo game was Wave race. so my first games for ps2 were GT3 (of course), and tony hawks 4. got them at the same time

Mine was a tie. My uncle took me and my bro out shopping for my B-day(well, my bro's B-day too) back in Oct. '98. Ofcourse my first stop was K-B Toys, and I wanted to get a PSX really bad. So we bought it, then I saw GT sitting on the shelf, and I said "Let me see that GT game" And the guy handed it to me and started saying how good it was. So I got it. And I also got NFS3HP, but I played GT first, and then I decided to take a break and pop in NFS, and compared to GT, it sucked. So I played GT for 2 days, then I had to leave for 6th grade camp(Not only did that suck enough on it's own, my B-day was on that Tuesday so I was at this crappy YMCA campgrounds on a school event on my B-day, with no TV and naturally no PSX(and really nothing to play with). The food sucked(and I'm a picky eater, not a good combo), and on my B-day they had bacon and eggs for breakfast...I'm not big on eggs so I ate bacon. A lethal amount of bacon(we're talking around 2 pounds or more). So I was hurting, and went to the little medical thingy where I spent many hours of my B-day. They let me call my mom, and I pleaded to come home but we didn't pay $150 or whatever it was for a 2 day stay. . But when I got home, I played GT the whole weekend only stopping to eat and some sleep.

Good times. As for my first car, I think it was a used Miata. My mem card got erased, so it's gone forever. My bro's first car in GT2 was the older Celica, mine was I think the older Protege(hehe). In GT3 it was the PT...but then quickly switched to a Miata.

My first PlayStation games were "Loaded" and "Wipeout". Wipeout looked great, but for the life of me I could'nt play it very well. Loaded was a roaming arcade shooter, not great but reminded me of "Chaos Engine" on the Amiga which I liked.
My next two were GOOD games....."Resident Evil" and "Tekken 2". And to think it cost me nearly £100 to buy them both!!!!
