Well, back in the day I never actualy had a PSX. That is, the one in the living room wasen't mine. But the first game I grew attached to enough to claim for myself was Armored Core. Then came GT2 and I never looked back. Still, Armored Core is one of the only PSX games I still play

I got my PS2 for GT3, but unfortunately, it wasent out yet. So my first PS2 game was actualy Smuglers Run. I thought, hey at least it has cars in it.

My first PS1 game I've owned was Gran Turismo 1. No, really. First game I got for the PS1 was Gran Turismo 1. Around this time, I was still a Nintendo 64 fan and didn't really care much for Sony. But now that I think about it (and after my N64 being stolen), I decided to play Gran Turismo. I've been wanting to know why this game was so good. After a lot of gameplay, I thought the game was cool, if not a bit frustrating. It was a pretty cool experience. More PS1 racing games I've played before, during, and after Gran Turismo 1 include (among others) Ridge Racer classic, Car and Driver World Tour '96, Rage Racer, TOCA Touring Car, and Rally Cross.

my first game on the PSone was "battle arena toshinden" which i chose to buy. i got "wipeout" bundled with the console.
