Forza Motorsport 7 Specialty Dealer Update: Second Gen Civic Type R Arrives

Right on cue, the Specialty Dealer’s stock in Forza Motorsport 7 sees its weekly refresh. While last week’s update brought the likes of an Audi and Lotus, this week only features one new addition.

Players will find a mirrored lineup of week 9, with one sporty, front-wheel driven addition: a Honda.

First up on this week’s lineup, the front-wheel driven Civic Type R hatchback. Unlike its EK9 predecessor, the second-gen EP3 is unique to the UK and put together in Swindon, England. While the EDM (European Domestic Market) model is more than sporty in its own right, the JDM model returns to its roots.

For the Japanese Domestic Market, the EP3 Type R features the renowned helical LSD and Recaro seats. Power comes a 2.0-liter i-VTEC inline-four sending 212hp to the front wheels. The sporty Civic sprints to 60mph in under six seconds and grunts onward to a top speed of over 140mph.

The Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged stands next in line. Veteran players will be well acquainted with the third generation luxury SUV previously featured. For those new to the SUV, know this: a 5.0-liter V8 powers the behemoth, sending more than 500hp to all four wheels.

Following that is the Mini John Cooper Works. It may not look like much at first glance, but don’t take the Mini lightly. With over 200hp coming from its 1.6-liter inline-four, this Mini packs quite a punch. The JCW may not be as light on its feet as the Civic but it can attack corners with the best of them.

Rounding out this week is the most expensive car of the group, the Rolls-Royce Dawn. Not only can players race with their pinkies raised, they can do so knowing the V12-powered, 563hp machine isn’t without a more adventurous side.

As ever, this week’s lineup is on offer until next week’s reset. More expensive than last week’s offerings, you’ll need a total of 615,250 credits for a clean sweep.
