Renowned friction component manufacturer AP Racing has launched a global competition, seeking the best liveries created in Gran Turismo 7 featuring its recently added in-game decals.
The competition marks the appearance of four decals from the brand in the recent Spec III/1.65 update, and centers upon them. In essence you’ll need to make a livery of your own creation, using any of the four — which comprise a wide and a square logo using the pre- and post-2004 versions of the company logo.
Compared to regular livery editor competitions, run with Gran Turismo, this one has a little extra freedom as it’s only using GT7 as the medium and isn’t endorsed by GT, Polyphony Digital, or Sony Interactive Entertainment. The only real limitation is that entrants must be aged 18 or over to be eligible to receive the three prizes, and they can be anywhere in the world.
That means that you can, for instance, use other logos and patterns on the car — and you can use any car, road or race — so long as the AP Racing decals are the focus of the livery. We’d advise against using other brake/clutch manufacturers, as AP Racing will pick its favorites to be featured on its social channels. There’s no limit to the number of entries per person either.
Those top three will receive a goody box containing all manner of AP Racing-branded swag — from a cap and a beanie to a coat, moleskine notebook, and a travel mug. We’re not sure what else is in there, but it looks like a good £100 ($135) of merchandise.
Of course there are a few steps to go through, and you will need an Instagram account too. Your livery must be shared in GT7, with the “Open to All” privacy setting selected, and tagged as “apracinggt7”. In addition you’ll need to share screenshots or a video on Instagram with the #APRRacingGT7 hashtag and the official apracingltd account tagged; following isn’t required.
There’s plenty of time to get your entry (or entries) together, as the competition closes on January 24, 2026 at 2359 UTC. AP Racing will contact the three winners as selected by its team through Instagram DM, and all three will be announced on January 30.
