After a 24 hour delay, we’re finally back. The livery competitions are still going strong, seeing 15 entries in the last round. We saw rust buckets, we saw moldy cars, yeah we saw it all.

If you missed the classic barn find round, do not worry! You can still vote for your favorite forgotten gem.

LEC 09 Poll Now Open

Like we said, you could spot a rusty car that shouldn’t be rusty, and maybe find a classic that you haven’t seen before? Let’s refresh and hear the words from the judge himself — me:

“I love classic cars, there’s something about seeing 40-year-old steel, the look, the sound, the smell.. But what if you saw a neglected one sitting in a garage full of junk? The car might be dusty, it might have some scratches, maybe some rust? There’s no limit here. Make the car look old and forgotten.”

You know what time it is. It’s voting time! Follow the link below to get to the competition thread and vote for your favorite:

This Fortnight’s Theme

We’ve seen a lot of good asphalt racers so far. LMPs, old GT classics, track day cars… now, let’s take it to the dirt! We’ll let CroxSkin explain:

“Now that we’ve covered most things in tarmac racing, let’s make some rally cars for this round. If you were to enter any off-road or rally events in the world, what would your team race car look like? You most certainly can enter with a Gr.B car, but you may also enter with other grades car as long as it allows you to equip it with dirt wheels.”

CARS: Any Gr.B cars or cars with the “dirt wheels” option
LIVERIES: Yes
USER MADE DECALS: Yes
LOCATIONS: Shiretoko for the main pics
UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS: One bonus image of your car on dirt/gravel/snow/sand

How To Enter

Want to enter any of the GTPlanet Livery Editor Competitions? You’ll need to become a member of our forums first — you can sign up here.

Next, you’ll want to submit your image. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to get your image ready for the submission. Once you’ve done that, post the FINAL ENTRY in this fortnight’s associated forum thread. That’s it!
