GTPlanet’s Weekly Race Series is Now Live on GT Sport

Gran Turismo SportWeekly Race Series 490 November 27, 2017 by

GTPlanet’s longest running organized Time Trial series has transitioned to Gran Turismo Sport. Titled A Dragon’s Tale (Which One is Larini?), the first event features the Lexus RC F Gr.4 Courtesy Car at Dragon Trail Seaside.

WRS Time Trials

Our Weekly Time Trial events allow GTPlanet members to compete against one another in a fair and engaging Time Trial series, using car and track combinations selected by our team of Online Race Administrators.

Participants are placed in a division based on their event pace, allowing them to compete each week (or as often as they choose) against drivers who have a similar skill level.

To begin participating, simply follow the instructions in this thread. Members who were in the GT6 registry should be able to just begin participating right away, while new members will need to send a quick PM as a registration step. There’s no qualifier to worry about, we just go straight into the events!

WRS Online Events

WRS Online will continue the tradition of taking our Time Trial events online every Saturday and Wednesday. Be sure to keep an eye on our online events forum for up to date details on this week’s events.

Our first “Worldwide” event will be on Saturday, December 2. Time details for the event are below:

  • 4:00 PM Eastern / 1:00 PM Pacific / 20:00 GMT

Wednesday races will start on December 6, with races in two convenient time slots. One of these should work for most members in most regions:

  • 3:00 PM Eastern / 12:00 PM Pacific / 19:00 GMT
  • 10:00 PM Eastern / 7:00 PM Pacific / 2:00 AM GMT
