I’ve just watched the 1st place drift on the ring with some dude in a panda, that’s got to be the most stupid thing I’ve ever watched.

    1. Pvig73

Oh yes. Very stupid. Have you checked the race car drift. Stupidity reigns free there too. I’m doing pretty decent drifts using a Castrol Tom Supra yet getting destroyed in the rankings by a FWD. To be fair, the guys using the FWD’s also get top points using RWD’s too.

this events are just piece of garbage…and drift trials are made for padders…it’s sad that people like me (drifting on the 900° wheel) have push that hardest they can and some faggots on pad with Fiat Panda has nearly 3 times better score than gold… PD it’s pathetic you know…you should think about it

    1. Pvig73

I agree with you 100%. I have a G25 & enjoy drifting with RWD motors such as the Alfa 8C (for this specific event)……….then I see these pathetic drifts in the Panda just for points. As long as I get gold & the satisfaction of competing then I’m happy, although I just have to better my score all the time.

Drifting a panda? I must fire up my gt5 and see this, how can you drift a 850cc front wheel drive shopping kart?

  3. Brunskill777

these look ok, italian 550pp TT could call for my chromed Muira that I used for the Lambo event. Don’t really like drift trials, but what can you do. I only really do them for the money I don’t need. I’ll report later once I’ve done/ tried them.

  4. Pit Crew

PD Never ceases to amaze me with their choices for drift competitions. Nurinburg V Configuration, but no part of V course is used…weird.

I like the time and drift trials, it is the only polyphony organized competition you really can have.

Instead of DLC – welcome anyway – what I really would like to see would be a polyphony organized league system where clean driving would be enforced by a ranking and heavy damage also with a ladder system (ex: karts- weaker formula – formula 1. etc for gt and indy and rally…).

That would put this amazing simulator and tons of cars and tracks to some good use!

    cheers all and pd

For the Italian Time Trial I used the lambourghini Miura – just like for the recent Lambourghini expert event I found it was faster than the Gallardo (by 2 seconds a lap), however I note that all the top drivers are currently using the Gallardo.

Laguna – golded that with a Spoon CRZ road car, then noticed that the experts are using the Suzuki GSXR – tried that and it is definitely faster.

Enjoyed Laguna and nice to do it with low PP, but find Monza a boring track regardless of PP.

It’s about dam time! Lol, wish it was 600 pp, got my sweet little 458 set up for that, but Italian cars earn a thumbs up from me any day :) I havent looked yet but a Lamborghini will be the go to for the top times, the Gallardo I believe, unless somebody can get a Mercealgo down to pp without hurting it too much.

  8. Pit Crew

I’ll try these in the morning. 8C Competizione should do fairly well.

My 2cent tuning tip; Remember the Unruly 370Z Tuned Event 8-5 on GTA? Remember what happened when you attempted to fight the cars torque steer? Good Times… :)

    1. Amac500

The 8C is beautifully sharp, too bad the suspension in those cars may as well have rocks glued between the coils of the springs, lol. Mine is set up for 550 pp already, so I guess I might as well, lol

  9. MartyMo

WOW, more lame arse seasonal events, enough already, it’s time to put this baby to rest as in “R.I.P.” Can’t GT5 go out with a little dignity?

    1. Amac500

Come on, what do you want out of a seasonal??? We criticize PD for their bias / lack Eutopean cars in seasonal events, and now we got a nice 550pp Italian one at Monza. 550pp is where the cars start to get racey and fast. Thats what we’ve been waiting for. Qualifying this as another garbage one means you have set your bar so high it’s on a 30 foot pole on the dark side of the money and PD surely won’t ever reach it.

    2. Flagmo-T

Now that’s Humor – because you’ll know that there isn’t coming Any DLC haha ha ah or Maybe hmmm It is weird that no DLC’s are coming, but nevertheless it feels like nothing has change, so i guess No Chock treament from PD :P

    3. BobbyBRAKEaNek

If that’s the case, stop playing it… and stop whining in my ears. Sounds like a baby with his passy falling out of his mouth. To many brats here.

  10. SonicConqueror

I did the Italian Time Trial in my 1976 Ferrari 512BB “Boxer”.
The 400PP TT in my 2004 Lotus Elise 111R.
The Italian Drift Trial in my 2002 Enzo Ferrari.
And the Race Car DT in my 1970 Toyota 7 Race Car.
All of which, made me come home with GOLD.

  11. TokoTurismo

Awesome event. Others may enjoy this alot. :) I miss GT5, never have the time to play it. :'(

    The photo is….. PURE. O.O
