Win a PlayStation 5 With Your Breakfast

They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and for prospective PlayStation 5 owners that may be entirely true.

A competition open to US residents is offering up to 500 PlayStation 5 consoles for purchases made at qualifying stores and via codes printed inside products. It’s a partnership between Sony, General Mills, and Kroger grocery stores which runs through to the end of February 2021.

The entry process is pretty simple, although there are four different ways to get involved. Firstly, you can find an entry code inside any of the qualifying products — which consist of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honey Nut Cheerios, Reese’s Puffs, Cookie Crisp, and Cocoa Puffs cereals, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honey Nut Cheerios, Reese’s Puffs, Golden Grahams, and Lucky Charms treat bars.

In addition, any purchase of three or more qualifying products — the above items and Multi-Grain Cheerios and Cinnamon Cheerios cereals — at any Kroger store will also award you with an entry code. Finally, you can request a code either by mail or online through the associated “Big G PS5 Sweeps” website. This last option will only open for the final days of the competition, from February 16-28, 2021.

Each code gives you an entry to the competition and an instant win game, both through the above website, although you’re only allowed 15 entries in total. The sweeps competition will draw out 500 entries — 20 specific to the Kroger entry method, and 480 for all others — to win a PlayStation 5 console. This isn’t the Digital Edition either, but the full-fat PS5.

In addition, there’s 4,500 instant win prizes which range from a $20 PSN gift card (1,500 prizes) to one of 250 PlayStation VR Marvel’s Iron Man VR Bundles. The competition will close to entries at 11.59pm EST on February 28, 2021.

For those of you not in the USA, there’s still a few hours left on a similar competition involving Doritos, while another promotional contest through Burger King in the USA closed last month.
