Fanatec’s direct drive Gran Turismo DD Pro is available for customers in Europe and the USA to order again, with first deliveries expected in or before February 2023.
If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on the official wheel of Gran Turismo 7, the Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro, now might be your chance as Fanatec is once again carrying stock — but you’ll need to be quick.
The latest Gran Turismo 7 update 1.15 is proving to be one of the game’s most controversial yet. Although it brought new cars, events, and features, the update also nerfed the force feedback strength of the game’s officially licensed wheels from Fanatec and Thrustmaster.
Fanatec is now offering the Gran Turismo DD Pro wheel base as a standalone item, alongside the rest of the GT DD Pro wheel bundles, marking the first time an official Gran Turismo wheel has been available as anything other than an all-in-one set.
Fanatec has surprisingly reduced the cost of its express air freight package for the new Gran Turismo DD Pro wheel by $100/€100, meaning players can get hold of the direct drive wheel before Gran Turismo 7 launches for just $50/€50 extra.
If you want to get your hands on the official wheel of Gran Turismo 7 before the game launches on March 4, 2022, now’s your chance. Fanatec has started listing the “express version” of its new Gran Turismo DD Pro wheel on its website for customers to order today.
