Take a look at the first two video clips of the Gran Turismo 5 demo running track-side at this past weekend’s 24 Hours of Le Mans. Thanks to our friends at French GT5rs.com for the footage!

Sure enough, the SpikeTV/GameTrailers that Sony helped hype up yesterday didn’t show much, but there was indeed some more footage revealed of the beautiful new Rome and Tuscany circuits. Watch it for yourself right here.

Mimaximax has just shared another video clip from his time in Germany a few weeks ago – this time providing some in-car gameplay footage from a Viper ACR on the latest revision of the complete Nurburgring circuit. While it’s nothing particularly new, you’ll get a good impression of the physics this most recent demo was running.

Here’s the latest batch of videos from GT5’s Nurburgring GP Course, featuring a Corvette ZR-1 and Lexus SC430 Super GT car. While you watch, look for this interesting detail in the game’s menu system: the ZR-1, Audi R8, and CirtoenGT are listed as “Premium” cars. That’s interesting, because as we know from the semi-official GT5 feature list, Premium models will feature the game’s more violent damage system. Because we’ve only seen rally cars get busted up, it was initially assumed that only racing or rally cars would be in this Premium category, but now it looks like that may not be the case…

Our old friend mimaximax travelled to Germany this past weekend to experience the Nurburgring GP demo first hand! Here’s his latest video, providing us with an in-car gameplay video of the Enzo Ferrari around the new Nurburgring GP circuit.

Here’s our first look at the Nurburgring GP course and the newly-revised Nordschleife in motion. Pay special attention to all of the spectators which have been added around the Nordschleife, which we first saw in last week’s batch of screenshots. Thanks to all who sent these in!

Things are pretty quiet as we wait for E3. Thankfully, to keep things interesting, our old friend mimaximax is back in action and has delivered a fresh video clip. This time, though, instead of his notoriously funky tunes, we actually get to hear the in-game sounds. According to the description, the video was recorded “from a 1080p Bravia screen (KDL-40X2000), in 1080i using a tripod, a Canon Legria HF200 and a Zoom H2 recorder”. Enjoy!

In one of mimaximax’s recent videos, he (attempts) to show damage on the Nissan Motul GT-R. Unfortunately, despite the fact that it’s a race car, it doesn’t show anything more than a few scratches in this old demo that he’s using. While trying to damage the car, though, he inadvertently forces an AI-controlled Castrol Supra into a last-second avoidance maneuver. For a game which has long been criticized for its artificial intelligence, this is a positive step forward. Watch for the incident shortly after 2:15 in the video below. Taking a break from the Nordschleife, Mimaximax’s latest videos show off two of Gran Turismo 5’s most exciting new cars: the Ferrari Enzo and Lamborghini Gallardo LP-560-4 at Indianapolis. Enjoy!

The latest videos from Mimaximax have taken an interesting turn over the past few days, as he begins to feature some of the more unusual and exotic cars found in the demo. Most notably, we get to see the highly-anticipated McLaren F1 in action on the Nurburgring, along with a race-prepped TVR Tuscan Speed 6. He’s even thrown in footage of a Mercedes SLR and in-car replay from a Nissan GTR V-Spec for good measure!

The now-infamous mimaximax just keeps churning out awesome videos from his copy of the GT5 CES 2010 demo. To finish off the week, here’s three more clips from Nordschleife featuring an Amuse 380RS Superleggera.
