If you’re feeling glum about motorsport right now, we’ll forgive you. Every other headline these days seems to be a big brand pulling out of some race series or other. Even this week, Aston Martin pulled out of Le Mans Hypercars before anyone’s ever raced in the category.
This week we began celebrating the contents of Assetto Corsa’s Bonus Pack 3. We kicked things off with three of the seven new rides touring Laguna Seca. As a last hoorah for the game in 2017, we couldn’t be more impressed.
Last week saw the release of Bonus Pack 3 for Assetto Corsa. With it comes seven all-new vehicles and Laguna Seca. PC players are the first in line to sample the new content.
Earlier this week we celebrated Assetto Corsa’s Ready To Race car pack by breaking in four of the included cars. We’re picking up where we left off with three new vehicles, all with something to prove. However, it’s worth acknowledging that the liveries featured are not standard fare with the car pack.
Late last week, Kunos Simulazioni announced that in an upcoming v1.12 console update for Assetto Corsa, players are to expect a slew of new Special Events. The offline affairs will revolve around the recently-included Red Pack and Porsche Pack Volume 2 downloadable content, as well as the highly anticipated finale to the Porsche content, Porsche Pack Volume 3.
After last week’s confirmation, console racers can rejoice as some of Italy’s and Stuttgart’s finest (in addition to a new premium racing circuit) have finally arrived in Assetto Corsa on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the form of the Red Pack and Porsche Pack 2, respectively.
Kunos Simulazioni have released the first console patch for Assetto Corsa nearly a month after release. The patch addresses a number of issues brought to light by the community, and is now available on the PlayStation 4.
