I first did it in the scuderia. That bored me so i bought the 458. After About 10 races That bored me too. I want to warm much money, but not on à boring way. Wat to do? The SP1 didnt help either i bought.

  2. topgearkazami

I used a fully tuned 599 (even if I had to limit the power) and the race was no problem. Be patient you pass the Enzo (if you use the 599) on the Ford Curves.

    1. dynamho

I used a tuned Italia at I think 609PP. With soft tires, I can overtake the leading Enzo consistently somewhere near the Ford Curves. 599 would make things easier on this fast course.

It’s either Online Car Dealership, or Obsesive Compulsive Disorder. Kinda depends on whether you have an advanced degree in psychology or not….. ;P

  3. Lambob

PD, it’s time to implement +25s penalty for shortcuts in Seasonals :)

Also, a Seasonal Request: Destruction Derby!!!!

  4. selfmutilation

I know this has nothing to do with these seasonal events but this weekend its the ilmc 6hours at Imola. I’m pretty sure you can watch it on peugeot sport .com and listen via radio le mans. I’m really looking forward to it. Come on lucus.

  5. sangbyung

trying to get 1000 cars by winning money. I think i will get all the premium cars first. 20 million dollar cars will be hard. i have to win 40 times for one of them. i love this event.

  6. Ras

The credit and experience awards of the seasonal events of late just kill the gradually A-spec development of those who just started to play GT5.

Your first car bought in GT5 will not be too fast. However if you buy a second car which is allowed to enter a high rewarding seasonal event you can get 20.000.000 credits within 3 – 4 hours. It`s ridiculous that the third car you buy actually can be a Formula Gran Turismo or X1.

There should be a check in seasonal events. When someone is not level 25 the credits and experience points should be much lower.

Sure, if you want to buy a lot of cars you need crazy amounts of credits. And these seasonal events are great for that. Or to gain experience if you want to enter the last endurance races. Far more reasonable than having to drive Daytona untill your fingers bleed. But new players need to be protected against this much credits and experience.

    1. Cyle

Yup, not going to be getting an X1 3-4 hours from start. You have to be lvl 40, and that takes weeks of seasonal grinding under the current temporary X3 experience and credits. But yah, I get the original point. Just don’t think PD can do much about it without ticking 50% of the users off no matter what PD does.

    2. chump

This is the first rant ever saying that GT5’s game structure is too easy.. IMO the slow a-spec progression is torture. I’m glad PD is making it easier for new and or “casual” players to progress through the game with these online updates. It breathes new life into it.

    3. antodena

@chump I’m not really with you in this reply… GT5 must not be compliant to CASUAL gamers or it will become the new BUGGY BOY (for those who remember this GREAT game) the fact is that anyway PD must continue giving more breed to the fidelized gamers… due to this i’m so happy that i’m yet playing from the first day this awesome OPERA… the new gamers will off course get profits from this seasonal events but anyway they must succed in the A-SPEC section to max the game. seasonal is only a plus from my point of view. great work indeed, i really LOVE this game.

  7. MOMO

  8. Antony Henley

Monza isn’t in the seasonal as it’s in the one in the game. Managed to do the whole lot of races in less than an hour, but to be honest I am not bothered how long it takes. I enjoy the seasonals but don’t take the triple payouts for granted as they are only temporary.

    1. Narutone66

Even the online dealership with 0 mileage is temporary. Wish they would update it as I have bought almost all the cars in the online dealership by now.

  9. MOMO

La Francia invidia la nostra cucina italiana, e si sogna le auto italiane!
Tutto il mondo si inginocchia davanti al Cavallino e al nostro Vino ;P

  10. MOMO

In this news you have to write all the comments in Italian. The Cavallino deserves this and more. I recommend a translator ;)

    1. HKS racer

No this is GTplanet in they have to write in english, it’s worldwide you know, problem is they quoted a wrong spelling by PD “la festa Cavallino” witch it doesn’t mean anything in Italian lenguage, as they should know the correct spelling is “la festa del Cavallino”.
About thoese funny clichè jokes I prefer eat pizza speghetti than frogs and snails. Au revoir Monsieur cest la vie! lol ;)

    2. AllyWheels

Then they should check out the english definition of the word”infamous”, which they use in respect to the Ferrari brand. An oversight i’m sure.

  11. ExOxS

YES!!! All of these races are AMAZING for grinding, and come with a free helmet. :)

Not bad on experience either, Sarthe fills the xp meter up by about 1/10 every time.

    1. Narutone66

Not if your level is high enough it would barely fill 1/20. I’m at level 35 right now and I haven’t done any endurance races yet. I’ve been doing the seasonal event for the past few weeks after PSN came back online. The XP needed to level up when your level is high is exponential.

    1. HKS racer

Seems like Poliphony didn’t ask any help on titles translations, but in case they did they better fire them as soon as possible. Without “del” it’s like neanderthal speaking, uga buga festa gavalino LOL

  12. WarriusZero

Why looking for the shortest time possible and the highest time/money rate for the sake of grinding? How can it not be boring?
For so long the K Cars race on the Eifel track has been the quickest grinding option but it becomes so boring within 10 minutes.
I can’t be the only one to think that the best grinding option is doing a few minutes here and there.

    1. HKS racer

Exactly, who cares about the best grinding track/car combination I just play for fun, GT5 is not a work lol.

  13. greenchile505

Btw folks, you can hit the dirt at the chicanes at la Sarthe at over 230 MPH. Avoid the barriers and do not accelerate while in the kitty litter. As soon as you hit the road on the other side drop two gears and your on your way to a sub 3:30 lap time. The entry to the last two chicanes before the start/finish are a bit trickier, but same method works – if you can avoid the long wall on the right.

I don’t like driving la Sarthe this way, as it is hallowed ground. But since I haven’t taken advantage of holes in the poly scenery, this is how I earn my spending money and still do some spirited driving.

    Cheers.

    1. stjimmy

Same here, first time i drove it properly time 3:42
But then to cash in, straight through the gravel, luvly jubly!

    2. Narutone66

So that’s how some of you guys have such short lap time. I’ve been trying to cut my lap time in Sarthe to less than 3:40 to no avail. BTW, I’ve been using the DS controller to drive. I’ll try my G25 later on to see if I can cut my lap time.

  14. symustafa1996

You know, the supercar festival race on the created track (the fifth race) gives a payout of 490,000 credits. Its still easy money.

  15. HugoStu

Fantastic I just finished buying the final 3 Ferrari’s last night and had a premonition about a Ferrari event.

Seeing I haven’t driven many of them other than the Enzo and Italia it’ll give me a chance to run the others in my garage.

    1. HugoStu

Also is Toscana a start at day finish at night, or all day? I’m hoping for no night didn’t enjoy it once it got dark with the Lambos…

  16. stjimmy

Just realized, you get paid for each race multiple times; ie, la sarthe in 3:42 = 504,000cr.. woohoo!!!

  17. HKS racer

Look at the tracklist, there is no Tsukuba they are listening to us lol ;) Remember you can still race Monza in Career mode, we have a couple of unused tracks this time like Autmn reverse, Daytona Road.. not bad at all honestly. Great photo and have fun!

    1. Darnit

WHAT?!?!?! No Tsukuba? What a joke. AAAAARRRRRGGHHHH! (Insert cliche’ troll comment here)
      ….
      ….
      ….
      J?K :P

    2. HKS racer

Indeed it’s not Daytona it’s Indy Road, but there’s no need to call people “silly” for such a little mistake. :P

  18. elans4

half a mil in under 4 minutes, now that’s more like it! Might actually save up some cash for the 20 million crediters now :)

    1. Hentis

Wasnt Monza used on the first “La Festa Cavallino”? So why would they use it here?
Yes I know the “its the home of ferrari” etc etc, But obviously their thinking is totally differnt to yours.

As to what is the biggest money earner, does it matter?
Personally to me no, I enjoy racing in all the events on the seasonals not just the one with the biggest payout.

    2. Jam

I think that Fiorano is the TRUE home of Ferrari. And from Ferrari Challenge, its not that bad a track. It has suzuka esses, it has tight corners with a wall next to you like Monaco, it has a hairpin, it has fast combined corners, it has an open hairpin, then a massive straight. Oh and its a figure of eight, like suzuka

    3. barry spock

Just be thankful Tsukba isn’t in there. Honestly, if people like you didn’t whinge you’d have nothing to say at all.

  19. pigboy

can you use the Formula 1 cars???…mite fire the 330 P4 and put some miles on it,….mmm@458,like balance of that car…they all good…wooohooooooooooo…not that i need money
    c h o w from the sow

  20. Dillmickle

I’d like this quite a bit more if the sun effect didn’t almost totally blind me for half of a lap at the Toscana track. One of the last turns I can’t see at all. I can’t imagine PD did it on purpose, but still, come on PD, it’s overkill in the sunglare department, lol.

  21. RPM

WoW! Nice!? It’s only WEDNESDAY tomorrow right? I thought SEASOANLS are updated every THURSDAY!? cool

  22. AlphaAndius

    Mamma Mia! Que bellissimo. XD Looks like fat loots are here to stay. The following quote comes to mind;

“Luigi only follows the Ferraris” – Luigi, Pixar’s Cars

    1. Waynz

Spero che il tuo amico si riprenda. Mi dicono che siete fantastici. (I hope that your friend recovers. I was told that you are fantastic] – Michael Schumacher, also from ‘Cars’…

yes I watch that show far too much.. lol..

    2. ECGadget

“A Ferrari! A Real Michael Schumacher Ferrari!!” (I watch it too much too lol)

On a serious note, these new seasonals are good!

    3. AlphaAndius

Hahah, Guido’s reaction was the one I had when I saw not only that Ferrari’s would be the protagonists of these races, but seeing 500,000 credit prize for 1st prize in Le Sarthe (A track I adore) in under 4 minutes.

Good to see many Pixar Car fans in here. XD

    4. Jason

      cutter

i’m away for work training and from my ps3 and this seasonal- i can’t wait to 458 it. anyone know how much longer the trip $$ is gonna last?

  23. GTP_Rcrcool9 says

SPOILER: La Sarthe is the quickest money gainer since the British lightweight London track!

    1. promann2

I think its the fastest, my record in 458 is 3,33.171!
Before this i did the supercar challange on the eifel track, 490000 and 5.10 min, so this is the fastest!
