PD should give us a list of manufactuers from GT5 :P
Awsome!!!! Can’t Wait!!!!!! :P
Sorry guys but… No1 seems to recall that GT4 has 725 cars that means there are more then a hundred added from maybe prologues or older gt games but the main point i think is that all these cars will be on the new physics system and that makes all cars better lookin and better driving GT is still the best driving experience only a 1000KG car is realer btw GET the GT5 Wheel it is maddd 900 degrees like the real deal
I hope that there will be the Gran Turismo World Map and all the traditional Gran Turismo events (eg sunday cup, clubman cup etc from GT4).
Also, i hope you can customize your car with wings, alloys etc
Basically, if they made GT4 into full HD and had Top Gear Test Track, 16+ AI cars and in car views then I would be happy and I’m sure everyone else would be to!
All cars will have interior view in GT5 give or take a few production or concept cars like with the GTR Proto on GT5P.
The 170 primium cars are the nascar and WRC cars with interior damage.
all cars in GT5 have interior views??
Thanks for the info, awsome stuff, cannot wait for december.
I think it was kinda reveiled a few weeks back that the racing series cars would have the full damage treatment. The normal cars, since we know not all manufacturers would sign off on full damage modeling, they dropped it entirely is what most people gleaned out of the previous snippets of info. They had always said they would do damage if it could be done fully and realistically so assuming ferrari and others would not allow realistic damaging modeling, we can assume i suppose that all the normal cars willl not have damage and we will be stuck with the penality system.
Either that or like other games that have damage, they would have to cheese the damage on some cars to not ruffle the feathers of some makers. which was never a situation pd was for.
and the flamers keep it up you make the human species proud with your lol worthy rantings and stupidity. come decemberish we will have both games and some real head to heads and legit discussion can go on about the games, not this oh we not played either stuff but because it is in this console it obviously is going to pwn the other game. *golf clap* keep up the good work gentlemen.
thanks to gtplanet for an excellent find, cheers.
its funny how some of you may claim to speak english but not many of you can read it let me confirm for you because I CAN READ!! Yippee!!
170 cars will have full damage that will correspond with the interior I.e on cockpit view if you crash you will see the effects from within the car.
the remaining 830 will feature damage but due the fact the interior wont be customisable they will not feature interior damage, also i would like to point out that 830 cars cannot come from gt4 because gt4 only had 700+ cars its fairly obvious to me that some cars would have featured previously in gt4. i mean come on some of those cars will be great cars that you will wont to drive no matter what game you were playing.
Also for the Forza fan boys i respect you i have an xbox 360 and as far as next-gen tech goes forza is the reigning champ because PD havent released a full game on ps3 yet, no point in saying things on here knowing that gt5 will be so good that you will want to own both, now you wont cause your pride wont let you. shoot off your mouth when you’ve taken the time to own and complete both games i know i’ll be enjoying both!! oh and i hope they bring back normal starts for gt5 the rolling starts are cool but a good start can make or break a race and theyre more exciting.
I think you all didn’t get it ;)
> 170 Premium new models (full interior modeling, the interior corresponds to vehicle damage)
Isn’t the meaning obvious (assuming a correct translation)?
A decent damage model requires the modelling of the mostly invisible internal structures of a car. “Full interior modeling” means that the full car structure is modelled, not just its exterior shape. This is ambitious and cool! It will deliver ultra-realistic damages.
The above sentence says nothing about “cockpit view” or “cabine view”.
Most people may have misled by associating the term “interior” with “cockpit”. Old thinking …
GT5 not having Porsche, they have Ferrari now, who cares?
The Car Washes/Oil Change option is quite possible the best thing ever even though its completely pointless.
I yes i reallly do hope damage on all cars is true and i also i hope they change the user interface to More like GT5P becuase its doesnt look that great in the screenshots.
Juhaniman, 6 Months for one car? Impossible..
NFS for example, takes only one year for every game,
and the next one comes with 71 cars.. (NFS Shift)
I didn’t really understand ur theory..
people, think like this, its a simulator, no arcade,
its more about driving properly, so you wont crash driving in certain form,
so for certain models u wont even miss the damage,
for example a suzuki swift, its impossible to lose the handling of it and crash,
(i hope they can get scratched at least..)
but for example with a ferrari f430 it is more probable that you’ll crash it,
so, there is going to be damage on it! u wont even drive all those 1000 cars..
ur gonna choose only elite models and some other cars so u can pass through career,
these models are the ones with damage
thats what i think..
Damn, no wheel shop? That sounds lame but I loved the wheel shop.
?
So will there still be interior views for the other 830 cars but with no interior damage or just 170 cars with the interior views.
hey S_M_91 Says forza fanboy wrong forum go to your plastic cars
Hey Tibo shut uo and buy your forza2 dont cry sisygirl
@rhett mash, those screenshots are photo-shopped.
@ tibo, forza 3 hasnt got 1000 cars, and the damage in forza stinks so hard, it burns your eyes out.
sony tgs, gt5 here we come
