GT6 Anniversary Edition in European PS3 Bundle this December

ps3-gt6-last-of-us-bundle

Amazon France has outed an upcoming PlayStation 3 “Ultra Slim” bundle which will include GT6 Anniversary Edition and The Last of Us.

The bundle is listed for €299.99, with a release date of December 4, 2013. That’s likely an error or estimation, though, as the official GT6 release date has the game hitting retailers on December 6th.

all_25_carsAs previously announced, the Anniversary Edition of the game will include 25 special-edition cars.

There’s no word yet on this PS3 bundle’s availability in the UK or North America, but you can, of course, reserve your own GT6 Anniversary Edition by pre-ordering at GameStop or GameStop.co.uk.

As always, you can support GTPlanet by placing your order via one of the affiliate links above.

this is possibly the best bundle every made. sadly i own a PS3 and The Last of Us already but the 2 games included (i can vouch for TLoU because that game is unbelievably great) are absolutely amazing. you can not go wrong with this bundle at all. 100% worth every penny.

  2. Normalaatsra

I remember one time Gran Turismo 5 was released before the official release date because the store sellers want to get the profit of GT5 the instant they receive the game.

    1. Quigz125

I wouldn’t doubt that it has happened. There is always those greedy CEOs who think of noone else but themselves and how much profit they can rake in. If I was PD or another developer and that happened, Id never allow my games to be sold in those stores ever again. That’s just disrespectful and bad business practice. Just because they want to make a profit before anyone else.

    2. ScotteDawg

I remember ordering a copy of GT5 through some friends who owned a video store. They didn’t receive their copies for the video store until the day before the official release! Even then, it wasn’t until after normal video store trading hours (10pm)!

Now, I’m in Australia, so that means we got it before most of the rest of the world! Maybe that’s why you’d be thinking that it was sold before the official date of release…

    3. Pit Crew

Doubtful that if this did happen, the amount of revenue generated accounted for much, especially if you think they actually made a profit.

    1. 2012GT325

lol at haters (you) who don’t know what you’re talking about. We did already play GT6. It was the demo that demonstrated the awesome new physics and graphics. With the added tracks and all new cars, we can confidently say GT6 will be the greatest. Period.

    2. Samus

Sure you can… New physics, cars and tracks don’t make a game. To call the whole package one of the two greatest games on PS3 before you know barely anything about the core gameplay features is just fanboy behavior, anyone with a clear mind can see that.

    3. Pit Crew

True, one of the things complained about the most on GT5 is ASpec mode which we haven’t heard much details about pertaining to GT6s. It’s one thing to be excited, but i’d temper it a lil bit.

Uncharted & The last of us BOO! it’s number 1 cash cow for Sony. I hate these stupid, pathetic and childish copied from other games remakes. Resident Evil 5/6 BOO! Silent hill 5,6,7 BOO! My choice is: Metal Gear Solid MGOnline, MGS 5 (soon), Silent hill 1-4, Resident Evil 1-4, Little big planet, GTA 5 (soon) and other classics.

    1. Quigz125

Metal Gear Online…. moment of silence please…………………………………………. ……………………………………………………………………………………………
      we miss you dearly….. :(
      RIP MGO *cries forever*

  4. Snorevette

At first glance I thought that the bundle was JUST GT6 and TLOU and was about to question the €299.99 price tag when I noticed the PS3 included with the bundle.

    1. infamousphil

GTA = GT + story line w/real time interfacing world.

If RockStar would nail their graphics or collaborate, graphically with FM…

Scratch that! PD coordinate with RockStar. Forget the film. We could live out some real diamond in the back, gangsta hit, rubber burning action in real (1/60) time with weather and …

ROCKSTAR IS LITERALLY SITTING ON A REAL CONSOLE BUSTER!!!

  5. 2012GT325

Amazon, please offer this deal in the US as I don’t want to deal with GameStop. If you can have the deal in Europe, you could have it here as well in offering both the standard game (with the anniversary free cars) and the PS3 bundle.

    1. TomBrady

What they really need to get is the PS4 bundle that europe is getting. ‘

It has Killzone Shadow Fall, a PS4 camera, and an extra controller ($580 seperately), all for just $500.

I would jump on that faster than I’d jump on a ready and willing Keeley Hazell, badump chee

    2. Swagger897

      ^^……. O.O ….. woah… am i dreaming??

but yeah, if i could spare another three hundred I wouldnt mind to get those already

  6. GranTurismo916

It better come out in the US. I need (or want) a PS3, so it would be great if I could get GT6 and a PS3 in the same package. I couldn’t care less about The Last of us.

    1. TomBrady

Gran Turismo 6, Last of Us, Uncharted 2, Assassins Creed Revelations, and Metro Last Light. Those are mine. Throw in Killzone 3 and CoD black ops 2 for some multiplayer fun and that’s the Tom Brady bundle

    2. HuskyGT

I have tons of games, but I just need Gran Turismo, Skyrim, Borderlands, Resident Evil 5 and 6, any good fighting game, and I’m all set

  7. ADTR

Look at the pre-orders.. The XOne will sell badly, not the PS4. Lots of places are unsure they’ll have enough PS4s for everybody.

    1. 2012GT325

LOL, I hope that doesn’t happen. I’m already deleting stuff and freeing up space in my 80GB, fat PS3. I’m torn between upgrading the HDD with an SSD or just getting a new console (as the new ones are more efficient and smaller).

    2. SnakeOfBacon

      do NOT get an SDD
due to the architecture of the PS3, it makes zero difference to loading and installing games at a much much higher cost too

    1. gtfanforlife

Also the Corvette C7 is a car you get just for pre ordering right? Why don’t you get Deltawing and those other cars in the 15th anniversary paint? I mean you get the C7 with it but why not the other four cars in it if you pre order the 15th anniversary game?

    2. ScotteDawg

As for what’s on the roof – no idea what you’re talking about!

There are 200 new cars in GT6! What do you want for nothing?

    3. zondaman2

I think he’s talking about the silver thing on the roof of the Megane Trophy. Looks like a spot to fill up the gas, but I might be wrong.

    4. gtfanforlife

I’m not referring to the 200 new cars what so ever. What i’m trying to say is, if you pre order the regular game you get four free cars too. If you pre order the 15th anniversary edition you get 25 cars with the 15th anniversary livery along with the other four cars too but they don’t have the special livery. The Corvette C7 is one of those four cars, but you get it with the special livery if you get the 15th anniversary game. What I am asking is why aren’t the other three cars coming with the special livery too if you get the anniversary game?

    5. ScotteDawg

The only 4 car pack I know of is a pre-order deal with Amazon — BMW Z4 GT3 ’11, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C7) ’14. Nissan NISMO GT-R GT3 N24 Shulze Motorsport ’13 and the Tesla Model S Signature Performance ’13! All of these cars come with the special livery in the Gamestop pre-order deal! (That I know of…)

  8. GT5 Level 41

Not sure if the US will get this and for how much, but I will be getting both games and if you factor in the DS3, the cost of a new PS3 to replace my 80gb fatty will be the balance of the list price and these items valued at around $175. Very tempting.

  9. RaduBox

amazing bundle but i hate the ps3 slim slim model horrible hideous design they should do this with regular slim model

    1. kekke2000

PS4 will sell very badly the first months. I will not buy it until there are some interesting game on it. If my PS3 breaks I will still get another PS3 and not a PS4.

    2. tpark103

It’s call capitalism and the point is find the consumers that are interested in that product potentially and seal the deal. There’s nothing like a bundle to make it an easier purchase or at least an option to consider.

  10. CodeName

Yeah!! And guess what… I just pre ordered GT6 anniversary today!!! And it was before this new at GTPlanet! Yes I might be lucky because I live in France XD

    1. TokoTurismo

^ Pepe, TomBrady is honestly right. That is the best bundle anyone could get, and it was wise of Sony to bundle those two games (which are popular) with a 500gb PS3 slim together. Stop trolling just because GT6 is in that bundle.

    2. HuskyGT

I almost bought that “The last of us” last week, but instead I spent my money on something else. I’m curious if it’s really as good as it looks.

As for GT6, that is more than what you need. The other game is just a bonus. Awesome bundle, Sony!

    3. TomBrady

Well honestly, if you’re into video games, and have the ability to get immersed in a single player game, the Last of Us is a best game on PS3 candidate. It’s only real competition is Uncharted 2 to be honest. Other than that there’s nothing that’s up to their standards or quality.

the last of us also has one of the all time best single player stories in a game.

    4. HuskyGT

Oh, I love video games in general. And I’m always open to try new stuff if I have some spare cash. So I guess I’ll give it a try.

  11. infamousphil

Not one to pre-order stuff… afraid I’m going to miss out on something cool. I can do without the funky paint jobs, though. Too much to hope we get an RM/TC version of the F1 this time around? More full race versions pleeease!

    1. Whodoyouthink

Same. I’ve learned it’s best to really sit it out for a few months before getting a newly released console. There are ALWAYS some sort of issues, be it as simple as a problem with supply, to more seriously stuff like faulty hardware and software bugs.

    2. TomBrady

      Not with Sony.

Launch edition PS2’s and PS3’s lasted years. Sony has always been reliable, and especially since the PS4 produces less heat than the PS3, I highly doubt the few issues the FAT PS3’s had will arise.

    1. Swagger897

i never thought sony stooped down low enough to make anything under 100gb.. i know microsoft made a 4 gb.. what are you supposed to do with that?

  12. G91V

Well, now we’re talking about 25, and not 20 special cars!

On topic, a PS3 and 2 super games like The Last Of Us and GT6 is quite reasonable for 300 €
