“Break Out” of GT5’s Nurburgring 24h Course

[This video has been removed from YouTube.]

If you’ve spent much time online in GT5 or our forums recently, you may have seen one of the latest “glitches” discovered in the game (there’s more on YouTube). With a little help from a friend, you can “break out” of the Nurburgring using a high-powered car (usually the X2010) to explore or – unfortunately – acquire a lot of money very quickly. The glitch appears to work just as the one discovered at SSR7, which was just patched last week in GT5 v1.08. Watch the the video above to see how it’s done – hopefully this is an issue that can be resolved soon.

Is it possible to break out of the track on your own without help? If so, please can someone do a video and show us how it’s done? :)

I will seriously look around for another game, GT 5 freezes very often and most of the cars should be in premium, NOT taken from the previous GT 3 and 4, even if it takes 3-6 month for each car.
And the reward is also very bad, too few option with all of the cars and it just isn’t enough!
PD should give other people some opportunities too, with creating their own car for use in the game.
I can’t see any passion regarding cars either.
In my passionate world of cars, I would’ve done something that would make “my” car something special, distinguished from the crowd.
Glitches?? What the hell… Better reward and we didn’t have to make use of these glitches.
    And to Kazunori Yamauuchi:
This game isn’t even close to be finish at all, too many things are missing.
You should take a close look at Live 4 Speed, there people can add cars even if the quality may vary.
And JORDAN, you should take a look at my suggestion in how to make this game better and consider it more seriously, but i don’t think i will be around for very long anyway.
What’s going on regarding the future car updates atm?
Would’ve been good to know a little more.
Hope i didn’t offended anyone, my purpose is only to be noticed…

I think the game freeze black screen of death at the start of an online race because of a dodgy internet connection is more important than this to be patched as having to quit the game and losing an afternoon of settings and peanuts winnings is far more annoying than hearing people bleat on about glitches and you shouldn’t be playing the game that way. Leave the I want it now generation to get bored and find another game. Fix the real issues first like the penalties that penalise you when you get rammed by tools. Or give you a corner cut penalty because your small car had its wheels off the ground when you touched the kerb. Please PD.

  5. sinister_300zx

you do know that once this one is patched another map will open to this glitch or hack w.e you wanna call it…i did it yes..but its boring jus drivin in a lop sided circle to earn money just to get to 20,000,000 jus to spend it all to go back and do it all again…makes no sense i’ll just grind for my money and exp. just to keep myself to get to A and B spec lvl 40..cuz after all think about it..once you buy all the cars you want or get to 1,000 cars..its gonna get boring

  6. stoney71

If PD would fix the screwed up leveling/credit allotment system in GT5 then maybe so many people wouldn’t be looking for these glitches and cheats. Most of the cheating wouldn’t be worth it if you could just ‘earn’ enough credits doing more varied races. PD needs to fix the core of the problem FIRST, THEN fix the glitches. Lets all be honest, even all you fanboys on here, NOBODY LIKES GRINDING. It is BORING and a waste of time. Please PD, give us more races in GTLife, more credits for races, let us sell ALL the cars, give us more (and better) prize cars, lower the price of the cars, etc., etc…Just stop making us grind so much. That is the reason so many people are cheating, because the game doesn’t offer enough FUN ways to earn so many credits the ‘right’ way.

  7. XTRGT

The 24H Nürburgring his the place we earn more Money/Exp but there is one thing all the GT5 tracks have Glitches but just one it’s fixed and we can make tracks = more Glitches and the next track will be Nordschleife or La Sarthe on sight for the Glitch.

    GOOD\(^_^)(^_^)/BYE

  8. Streaker

I don’t think GT Planet should be advertising exploits. Leaves a bitter taste, there is enough cheating in online gaming to advertise it on a game’s largest fan site.

  9. Praggia

@R1600Turbo you’re obviously a fan boy sitting there with your head up your ass like the rest of them
Looks like Mediocrity is your forte…

    1. LeeC2202

+ 1 million Kudos for that.

Funny how all these people don’t mind playing the game properly, seem to have plenty of time to do the hating. Maybe they should go back to playing the game, and keep quiet about things, that are actually NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS, when it comes to how other people play the game THEY PAID FOR.

  10. Praggia

    Boring boring boring
    GT has become soooo boring
racing over and over and over again to earn credits to buy cars that cost a fortune, have unrealistic damage modelling and don’t sound anything close to the real deal. The only possible bonus is doing time trials and watching the replays to see them in all their gleaming glory but er wait the replay lighting /shadow effects are bogus too!!!!!!!!! People are resorting to cheats/bugs to get the most out of the game what a farce this has become really

    1. Mike

I stoped playing GT5 in January. I still play Forza 3. I guess you can’t afford both, hence why you have to talk bull

    2. Swift

@Lucifers_Gun If anything Forza 3 has TOO MANY events, so i’m not quite sure where you are going with that one.

    3. t.o.

Yet ANOTHER post by a person who knows NOT what they talk about. Forza 3 has a TON of events. If you can finish FM3 in a day then you must be god. It’s IMPOSSIBLE. I’ve had it since release, played the HELL out of it and still nowhere near finish.

  11. lsr

had the in-game saves been implemented, all those glitches wouldn’t have mattered

and that fictious red bull shouldn’t have been included, it hardly has anything to do with real driving

  12. Lambob

Add more bumper tires! Just like in real life! Meh, I’m not desperate to do this glitch, even though it is tempting to grab that cash, I still enjoy the game with the cars I have, even if I can’t afford them all. Besides, NFS Shift 2 is out next week!

  13. Shmogt

Idk how many ppl dd this glitch already but it really sucks. It takes at least half an hr and u have to drive around a bit. U do make more money however, but so frustrating to do over and over. They need to make the normal prize money a loooooooooot more for online because earning big money is impossible any other way

  14. Mike

the creator of Gtplanet and Grand Turismo Kuzaru Yaumucha will not be very happy now. But the new director Jordan can maybe fix it?

  15. GTP_Marky264

Just wasted my godamn time doing this and got no Credits at the end of it? I’m imagining that you have to have people in the Room throughout the whole race or you wont get the credits? Oh well. Think it was GT5’s Amazing Boss telling me NO MARK! NO! XD and i’m fair with that! XD

    1. Skiddy

Same thing here.. How much free time do these guys have?!. Last time I checked there was only 24 hours in a day.

    2. anti- nerd squad

They’re fat, pathetic nerds who have a stick up their ass over the credit system. They saw the SSR7 glitch (which was likely found by accident), cried some more when it was patched, and went and spent every waking minute of their sad day looking for another hole in the walls.

They have no sympathy if their PSN’s are banned. In fact, I hope they are. Even less if PD takes away prizes for online racing because of this.

    3. Aces & Eights

They probably wear diapers so they dont have to get up to go to the bathroom. Also wear a drinking hat and sleep in the lazy boy chair for days on end.

  16. GTP_Hun

Reading many of the comments above I get the impression that many would like GTPlanet to be, not a source of information about Gran Turismo games (and other racing games), but a fanboy’s webpage. Hiding the existence of other games, hiding whatever bugs and glitches exist in Gran Turismo.

Some comments even give advice to Jordan that could be translated unceremoniously like this in Jar-Jar Binks style “Hey Jordan, whaddayou doin’ man? I’m thinks you shoulda be asslickin’ PD, not doing THIS! ”

Well, I applaud you Jordan. Gtplanet will only be respected as a true gamers forum. Where there’s no freedom to troll, and rightfully so, but there’s freedom to discuss, and report whatever’s happening ! Thanks!

    1. Skiddy

It’s not about exposing bugs. This is exploiting bugs to your own benefit. It’s cheating. GTP should not promote this kind of foul play. I hope PD shuts this down pretty soon.

    2. Streaker

No, that isn’t it at all. There is plenty of stuff going on with the game that GT Planet needs to be reporting on like the bug where cars are disappearing. Have you seen an article on that? When you put a story up about an exploit before its fixed you inadvertently advertise it, especially when its posted on that game’s largest fan site. The number now doing it is thousands of times larger. They could have reported it in a different way, that there were still exploits but not SHOWN HOW TO DO IT STEP BY STEP. You can applaud all you want, many of us see it as what it is, an unwise move by GTP.

  17. pasigiri

Although I have a problem with these glitches, I’m kind of on the fence about it. I would love to have the Lamborghini Miura, but it costs 20,000,000!!!!! Even when the 5 lap American Championship race was available for 117,000 for first, it was still a grind and then you get it … and well your broke.

To be honest, if there were more racing series with levels all the way up to 100 and award credits on par with the levels, then maybe those 20,000,000 cars might be justifiable, but as of now, all of us are just doing the same thing over, and over, and over, and over again. Even the with these glitches, it’s still repetitive.

IMHO, the patch for THIS is more offline events. More racing series. And the ability to sell ANY car. I have probably 20,000,000 credits worth of cars I would sell but can’t. All I can do is get rid of them out of my garage.

  18. Tvensky

Thanks GTP for telling everyone how to cheat in GT5. just great. is GTP hacked? Shift commercial, and now this guide how to cheat.. seems like im will not visit GTP so often.

    1. Aces & Eights

Tvensky has a point. The blog is called Gran Turismo Planet or GTP. Why do I see Need for Speed Shift? We could, instead, have more news about what PD is up to or if they are even considering what we are talking about.

  19. GTP_Ravenmaven

I have a 50 hr. a week job, in the steel industry! A hot blonde wife, a house that required reno’s and a whack of snow shovelling all this winter and I still managed to reach level 40 A spec “casually” racing for the joy of it without having to borrow or game save cars or “glitch” my way to simulated automotive bliss. So please, save those howls of pain for child birth please.

    1. KFM

Thank you. I work two full time jobs and still have no problem getting money or experience on the game. It’s mind-boggling why a bunch of high schooler’s and college kids would have any reason to complain.

    2. Skiddy

i’m a programer/engineer. Beautiful wife at home. I don’t see my self reaching lev 40 any time soon. But I’m not in a hury. It will keep me busy ’till GT6/PS4.

  20. Woggster

How does this make you lots of money?? I don’t understand how glitching this gets you lots of money?

  21. j8mie

I do think this should have been kept off the sites front page for a bit longer to allow those who want to to cash in. PD will now be aware of this issue and we’ll get yet another silly 2mb patch, when they should be working on bigger and better things.

  22. Ersk

Well I finnished nurburgring 24h two days ago and earned the “all gold” trophy. Best lap time 4:59. Since everything is logged in the game pd should remove finnished races under 4:30 (in case

  23. Erik

It’s not really a surprise that there has been another glitch “already”. A lot of games have glitches that allows you to go to areas where you’re not allowed (or not supposed to go). GT2 was full of similar glitches where you could leave the track. I bet you that there’s at least one of these glitches on each track, it just takes some time to discover where they are.

  24. jameskwondo

It is “bummy”..I’m not trying to use it as an excuse I’m just making a case for my reality, my life. I’m an honest hard working guy who love racing games (racing period) but has limited time to enjoy it. My hat is off to those who do put in the hundreds many thousands of hours required to gain all the credits and cars they can. I’m jealous I’m not going to lie. I selfishly just wish there were codes like older GT games for unlimited cash or all cars etc. For myself and others like me it would in my opinion enhance the game. For those purists with unlimited freetime you don’t have to lower yourself to using the codes.

    1. Calavera Loco

This is the typical casual vs hardcore conflict. You see, the person who earned that miura by grindig for a week don’t want you to get the same car in that 2 hour. I have time for now to grind (not that i really want to) but I think it wouldn’t hurt me (or anyone) if the casual gamers who only have a few hours to play could get the FUN cars in less time then me. Just my two cents.

  25. JJ

The real life married dads and what not is starting to become an old excuse. If you cant play as much, it means you’ll have less than people who do. Its a bummy reality, but thats the way it is with this game, so I think its time to stop making real life an issue, or eve bringing it up. I understand the Endurances races are over the top, but they will be fixed. Aside from that aspect, everything else in this game is achievable.

    1. Erik

I think that one way to solve the issue could be to make the most expesive cars available to drive in arcade mode.

    2. GT_Die_Hard

I agree, but if they will, then just put ALL cars in arcade mode. OR let your favorites be unlimited instead of 100 cars, so you can drive all of your bought cars from GTLife in arcademode.

    3. NapalmSanctuary

The best way to solve the problem is to do away with the XP system, and restore the license system cuz that was more realistic anyway.

    4. MULE

JJ, all I’m seeing you do on this page is just cry, cry, cry, whine, whine, whine.

Honestly, can you BE anymore butthurt? You’re just as pathetic as the people who took the time to find these glitches.

    5. LeeC2202

It doesn’t matter if it’s achievable, the fact is… achieving it is DULL, BORING, MONOTONOUS, REPETETIVE etc…

Gaming is about fun, racing against crap AI in a bumper car race, is neither simulating fun, or even the real thing. I’ve finished everything I intend to finish, A-Spec to level 30 and B-Spec to level 40. No way am I doing the A-Spec endurance races, because they are BORING.

Who wants to drive for 4 hours round one of the most miserable tracks in the game, Tsukuba? You’d have to be desperately sadder, than those just wanting to “finish the game”, to do the endurance races.

  26. meeekael

Probably not making any friends at PD posting this to the main page Jordan.

I’d think about taking it down in order to retain what little relationship you might have with them….

    1. GT_Die_Hard

yea, why would Jordan be wrong to post glitches on this site? PD can fix them and thats not a bad thing to me, as i just like racing in a NORMAL lap around a circuit instead of taking an X2010 and driving in circles with 330 km/h.

  27. Skyline_77

I cant believe that people think that when PD fixes this some people see it as “LOLFAIL”

lazy bums these days, pathetic really. thankfully this one is much harder to pull off than the SS7 one, as everyone will want to go first.

  28. jameskwondo

I will say this. Being a married dad I don’t have the time that some people have to play this game hours on end. I’m lucky to play 2 hrs a week if that. I loooove this game but hate the extremely long races and “grind” that it takes to accumulate enough cash to get the higher end cars. The trade issue is the biggest bummer because my dad and I can no longer trade amounts ourselves. I get it, there are issues with trading but I feel like the shot gun approach with that and the cheats/glitches/etc are unnecessary. I wish there were more cheats for those of us with way way less time.

  29. RobGroove

I admit I’ve done this once just to see how much you can make and it took me just under an hour to make 1.8 million and it aint worth it in my book its bloody boring. However I do think its pretty sh*tty that there are people above me on my friends list who have used this to get above me in rank when i’ve done it the proper way. Yes i know they aint harming anyone and all that but if you dont or cant play the game then why bother?

Im also surprised this is posted on the blog and while this should bring it to the attention of PD quickly my only worry is that with everything thats going on in Japan right now, are PD still working in Tokyo or are they busy helping out with friends and family during these tragic times?

  30. JJ

Posting this on GT PLANET’S front page is not the only way to get it fixed quickly ( gee why didnt someone else think of that!) Seems like there plenty of smart A***S to go around, so why doesnt someone use it to think of less public ways to get this message to PD. Public promotion is not the answer to getting it fixed, rather it supports the cause of using it, especially when there are individuals who feel that ” the game is jacked” or whatever that means. Its sickening to see and read posts like this, and even worse to see GT planet publicly supporting this HACK.

    1. Jordan

“Supporting” and “reporting” are two different things, JJ. I don’t like this “hack”, either, but it’s a major issue of debate among the GT community regardless of what anyone thinks about it. I’m not sure why anyone would be surprised or upset to see it here on the blog.

    2. Skiddy

I’m with JJ on this one. This is a promotion of the hack. (because of the video). I don’t think it’s a major issue of debate also. There’s nothing to debate about, it’s cheating. I agree that we have to be warned about it but posting a video that shows how to cheat is promotion.

    3. Ferdbags

You don’t think its a major issue of debate? Take one GLANCE at the forums and you’ll see what a foolish and naive statement that is.

    4. Tvensky

I very sad to see it on the front page, to be honest Im very very dissapointed now @ GTPlanet for promoting cheating in GT community.. very sad indeed! :( no excuse for that.

    5. Tintorera

I do not like “cheating” and “glitching” in GT5, but this is a much debated issue with many different opinions. Just look in our forums!
This post definently belongs here, and it’s an issue that need to be discussed and concerns the whole GT community.
I personally hope that PD will find a solution to solve all these glitches when, things eventually go back to “normal” in Japan.

    6. Skiddy

I took a GLANCE at the forums. And Online lobbys too. It’s cheating, end of story. Bunch of “kids” destroying the game. It’s not the way a game should be “played”. I’m sure PD would implement cheat codes if they thought they belonged there. Next time you see someone having 2-3 Miuras in the garage, guess what’s the first thing that will come to your mind.

    7. Ferdbags

Also if you don’t understand what capitalization for emphasis purposes is, don’t repeat it. Moron.

    1. Tvensky

very… and Im very happy to sea fair players in GTP in this comment section, because in GTP forums 99% are very rude people who cheats alot.

  31. Limelight788

Did this once, but only to see how it worked and quite honestly, despite the 4.2 million reward and getting 1st place in a 200 lap race, I have no intentions on doing this again. The glitch took a hour to do, going in circles with the additional combination of the good chance that you will go back on the track unintentionally makes this glitch a pain in the butt to do unless you are perfect with timing. At least the SSR7 glitch was kind of fun since a mistake didn’t thrust you back on the track and then you have to get others to push you out; this glitch gave me a headache after finishing it.

Hopefully, this gets patched up soon. I don’t want the Nurburgring 24 hr track overrun by this glitch which if the racers don’t execute it near perfectly, lasts longer then it should.

There’s something I never understood about this argument. When a person finds a glitch, then that automatically must mean that they did because they don’t like the credit/XP system and must have then spent hours upon hours just to find a quick fix. I don’t understand the logic in this. If you don’t like waiting a few days to collect some money to buy a race car you want, you probably would have stopped playing by now, not try to find an easy way out. These two scenario’s are much more realistic:

    1. A person accidentally hit that spot and realizes that it could be used to find a quick way to earn cash (Not directly related with complaining about the XP/credit system mind you). He asks another person to push him over the wall and it succeed. These two then tell others of the glitch and now many GT5 players are involved.

    2. Someone hits him to a wall and said player finds it. Copy paste the rest of the first scenario.

Get real people, the XP/Credit complainer will exploit the glitch, that’s for sure, but that doesn’t automatically mean that they searched hours for an easy way out.

@Corey: We can’t just automatically assume this will be one-shot update like last time. The last glitch came shortly after the big update 1.06, so they had time to fix the glitch quickly, plus there was not an earthquake or tsunami in Japan for Polyphony or us to worry about, so it wasn’t necessary to wait until the next big update occurred. This time, the earthquake and tsunami arrived and it’s closer to their next updates, so there’s no point in them forcing us to deal with a content-less update again since by then, they would soon have their big update ready to go.

  32. Cool Community

Cool now everyone can exploit glitches while Polyphony Digital struggles to keep their electricity on.

  33. DMoss84

This news post discredits GTPlanet. I realize it’s a good way to bring this to the attention to those that can fix it; although, compromising the integrity of this website for something as small as this is quite silly.

    Not cool..

    1. gromm

It’s software. Any software that is more complicated than “Hello World!” has bugs. What defines a good software company over a bad one is how they handle those bugs, and the obscurity of the bugs on release day.

PD otherwise does a great job of building a racing simulator. You’ll notice that the bugs we find aren’t spectacularly stupid things like “the game spends 30 seconds loading the next section of track on the Nurburgring because the system doesn’t have enough memory to hold the whole track, and it usually does this loading right at important corners”. Instead it’s crazy contortions like “if you get three players together (no more, no less) and ram your cars together at an angle of exactly 27.48 degrees, then one of your cars levitates 74 feet off the ground and all four tires pop off their rims”.

  34. Eye Patch, Arrh eye?

How about patching the game, so that save files that 1.08 think are corrupted, but work with 1.0 work again.

  35. Steph290

I won’t lie, I found the glitch on SSR7 to be quite amusing, but cheating for money gets old quick if you are a highly skilled driver or enjoy the legit aspects of the game. For some reason tho or maybe just a gut feeling, I don’t think that PD is going to patch this immediately.

  36. brettjr25

I know I’m a stick in the mud but I’ll do things the legit way. That way I still have a game I love with things I want to achieve for a long time.

  37. steven

I hope PD realizes that we don’t want to grind forever just to get a few cars and raises the money gained.

    1. G

damn straight, Im in no rush to get 100 percent or even own the x1… Im going to enjoy the ride… they should just release an unlock all code for 1 week so we can get rid of all the lazy players and get back to enjoying working for the achievments

  38. vic

Horrible song and ya they do need to fix the amount of money earned from each race. At least double it that’ll help a ton but since this game has an RPG element to it its no surprise that it takes for ever to earn every bit of cash and exp from each race and is a total life sucker

    1. G

Theres no rush to ‘complete’ the game. Just take your time with it, enjoy the ride, save up for that multimillion credit car youve had your eye on… I mean I seem to be the only one whos willing to savour the actual game and take my time with it… If people want an instant pat on the back for doing something easily go play another game, there are plenty of games out there that hand you rewards for little or no playtime!

    2. Corey

No there isn’t a need for constant gratification, BUT, when I want to enjoy a certain car when I want to enjoy it, I don’t want to spend a good majority of 3 full days to get it. I.E an X1, IF I AM EVEN ABLE TO PURCHASE IT.

If it was worth grinding to get new cars, I might actually do it. But as it stands, the cars I have I am content with, and have ABSOLUTELY NO DESIRE to drive around the same damn course 50 times to get 1M credits to afford one Ferrari Enzo and then do it all over again. It’s honestly NOT THAT WORTH IT.

    3. G

but most people played GT4 for years many still play it, they play it to slowly get 100 percent… and enjoy doing it. I know many say they can only get a few hours a week, so enjoy those few hours and enjoy the long experience… You dont buy a thick book, read a lot of pages on the first night then just skip to the last page because you hardly made a dent. Trust me most of the complaints are from the I want it now generation.

    4. - SZRT Ice -

I understand it. PD wnated to show some of the “reality” in how difficult it is to get some of these cars “IRL”. But we’re “gamers”. If most of us wanted to go through the exact difficulty of doing this in “real life”, we’d probably be doing it… “IN REAL LIFE”… Many of us will probably go through a PS3 or 2 before getting all we want out of GT5. Sadly for me, My hard drive corrupted recently and I lost everything on my PS3. Everything I earned (naturally) was lost, and I had done my last “Save Data Utility” backup in January. I had many rare, awesome, and unique cars, mostly from trades all lost, and went from level 33 down to level 19. Without glitching, I may have not picked GT5 back up for months. Atleast I got my A-Spec level back.

      (Back-up your data people…)

  39. Corey

Can’t wait for the 8th patch in 6 months JUST to fix this ONE issue. At least put something else in the patch, maybe find some more loopholes in the game because the second you patch this one, people are going to find another one.

    1. cbabb

Lol. It’s a vicious cycle. All thanks to Players who need that little thing called ‘instant gratification’.

  40. Spoox777

Couldn’t care less about this. I much prefer to earn my money properly. The way the game is meant to be played.

    1. ?

Your an f’n retard why should I have to grind for money. I hope that earthquake over there shook some sense into PD to stop grinding and allow trade of cars over 1mil again.

    2. cbabb

I couldn’t agree more. It’s sad that people would rather take the time to find loopholes in the game to make it ‘easier’ then play the game for what it is.

    3. Sebastian

I understand why some people want do do this glitch, but because some people want to earn their cash and xp the old fashioned way does not mean they are retarded. I think you are stepping out of line with you comment, “?”. You clearly don’t understand compasion.

@ Spoox : Yeah sure Einstein. Maybe you do not have a LIFE. Maybe all you do is sit at home 24/7 and grind the Dream Car race. Maybe you do not have a JOB. But there are tonnes of us who have all of the above, minus the time to grind this game like you do. So please. Quit barking the “I-play-the-game-the-way-its-meant-to-be-played” malarky. You play the way you want to, but please don’t lecture how the rest of us want to.

      Peace

@Sebastian : “?” is not attacking the method Spoox uses to play the game. On the contrary. He is attacking the fact that Spoox thinks that his method is the RIGHT one to play it. There’s a difference.

I hope this GREAT cheat never gets fixed since i don’t feel like grinding for money to buy cars. And now that cars over a mil can’t be traded i have to buy the GOOD cars myself instead of duplicated or ripping people off

I know right, What nerve of PD to fix glitches like this and make lazy gamers actually play the games properly when they’re clearly not good enough…

WTF you ripping of people is funny f**king p***k

Not everyone only has fun with this game by winning millions of credits. Some of us like this crazy thing called “racing”. Hell, I spend most of my time in the game racing and modding the cheap cars. Suped-up Honda Civic FTW!

    4. Aces & Eights

I actually spend my time taking nice rare sometimes old cars (Jaguar XJ13, Lamborghini Miura P400, and 300 others) for a cruise at night or in the rain, like on the Nurburgring 24h layout. I even enjoy just looking at the cars. Taking nice photos of ’em too. (I WORKED for all of my cars) I also own the ’65 Alfa Romeo Guila, and enjoy driving the Shwimmwagon and Kubelwagon.

haha so true…tis a shame they could not fix the main problems in GT5 as quick (if they plan to at all)

    2. Sam

@Patrocles – I’m pretty sure it takes a lot longer to work on the things people have been asking to get (which is also overlooking the fact that PD has patched a lot of stuff into the game – people are so impatient) than it does to fix one little spot on a track to keep people from going through it.

Is this what GTP is about, publishing hacks and letting EVERYONE know about it. What a pathetic post and a pathetic community

    1. jamaicanbwoy

ur a pathetic community. the game isnt HACKS hence he puts this UP so losers like u dont cheat the blasted game. i cant believe theres another glitch found already lol

    2. F U JJ

This a GREAT post and i hope it does not get fixed because i don’t feel like grinding for money to buy cars, I need money now and it doesn’t help that they got rid of trading cars over 1mil, now none of the GOOD cars can be traded to me so i can duplicate them or rip people off

    3. COOLfiat

F U JJ: You people have so little patience! It’s just about levelling up and just doing it quickly right!? Well, no! Videogames don’t teach patience… well, except for GT5! It teaches you patience. You have to practice lots. I got the game the day it came out and I am “only” Level 30 A-Spec and level 22 B-Spec. DO you think that is bad? Well, it ain’t. I have been “wasting” my time doing practices and getting gold at licences. Well, what is the point of this post, because all you kids do is act like all things are granted. LEARN SOME PATIENCE.

      @COOLfiat

its a bad thing if you have a life, a job, or maybe wanted to play some other games and or put some time into another hobby or two.I can understand a slow start but the game never really gains any momentum.

im glad you like it, i hope it continues to be everything you want it to be, but slamming ppl and calling em kids cuz they want the pace to pick up a little is sorta harsh, considering its adults with lives who are more likely to have gripes especially if your like me and only have an hour or less a day to put into it.

just cuz im 33 and have many responsibilities this game is pretty much inaccessible to me. do you not understand why people like me would voice our gripes and hope it gets fixed? especially since its one of my favorite franchises.

I agree with both sides here its sucks grinding to get that one car youve been wanting and then having zero dollars again once you do get it. But this is not the way to go about it a money/exp patchh would be nice but prolly wont happen to the extent that the guys who spend the time to find these and do these cheats will ever be stisfied with. So once again not everyone will be happy awww :( but everyone that complains about how long it takes to do things should look at it like this at least its not another 8 hr shooter for 60 bucks these patches are free and this game will stay in the tray well beyond the lifespan of any other game. And for that we should be grateful its a great experience that will continue to get better for free a great community of racers and itlll hopefully hold us over till GT6

    2. -=DV=-

Chattimus you have the rubber band trick if you dont want to grind. You dont even have to be present for the rubber band trick, you can set it up before you go to sleep, then sleep, wake up, go to work, come home, check it and you will have more money than you can count. There is no need to waste server space, bandwidth and other peoples time glitching when there is a way to get cash and experience that takes even less effort than glitching! there is no excuse.
