And on to the Truck race. Once again go Bubba Wallace!..or all of Turner Motorsports, because Chevy. Oh, and Go DOGECAR!!

Well lets face it Danica was just the pretty face public face NASCAR needed for PR.

And Josh Wise is the unlikely story of a start and park team getting publicity and fan support. Excellent PR for NASCAR and especially Phil Parsons racing

If that was the case, then why has Josh never made any other fan votes? 99% is down to Dodgecoin. If he was sponsored by anyone else would he have made it? I think not.

Well, who cares now? At least he's not a media whore, and earned his SC seat (albeit in an underfunded team) by virtue of driving skill, rather than... err, off-track business.

If Danica was a 31 year old bald man, would she have the same amount of fan support...
If Danica were any other gender, would she have made it? I think not.

Make no mistake, I'd much rather have Josh in the All Star as opposed to Danica because as a driver he's not an overhyped 1-hit wonder. It's the reasons he's been voted in that sadden me. To get popular its not about the driver at all, its about a virtual dog with stupid catchphrases. Still good luck to him and certainly will help the #98 team.

You could say that about everybody because everybody needs sponsorship. If Lowe's had said no to Jeff Gordon and Rick Hendrick's idea to put a journeyman Busch series driver in a Cup car, would Jimmie Johnson had made it?

Jimmie Johnson however is a better driver than Josh Wise, so would have stood a much better chance to begin with.

Put Josh Wise in the Lowe's Chevrolet with a Hendrick equipment and Chad Knaus on the box and I bet he'll be just as good.

They should have stepped their fandom up to help her out more.

Either way, they weren't going to top the internet community of reddit.

Lots of crashes in the truck race.

Twitter: It's a NASCAR race worth watching.. it's what NASCAR's all about.... you should be watching this race....

 Kyle Busch is probably leading, so I guess they're 100% correct on it...

Cant believe the grass near their kinks has bumps in it that tears up the cars. Its a safety issue too.

Also cant believe turn 3 has no catch fencing.

Busch would of led every lap but Joe stayed out under caution to ruin perfection

One that I can't stand either. Glad I'll be at the baseball game tomorrow so I don't have to hear about it all night. The sooner that car changes sponsors, the better.

So I take it you guys would be upset with me telling you that Dogecoin's trying to sponsor Wise at the other Talladega race.

True, but if the guy doesn't have the equipment to back him up he is likely to just be in the way. Unfortunately the small independent teams have been chased out of the sport by the big money for some time now. Although it has been nice the past few years seeing some limited success by a few of them 👍

Plate tracks in particular even the field. I remember TBR and Dave Blaney running well other year.

I was referring more about sponsoring his car for Talladega, so he wouldn't need to start and park.

The fan vote into the All-Star race just means he'll finish dead last, barring attrition of other drivers. I think I read that last place is worth $80k, though. That's a pretty nice paycheck for just 90 laps.
