With all of the cars going out, he won't be settling for last place money, though. If the last segment is wild enough, he might even get into the top ten.
Was not aware they paid anything to a top 10 finisher in this. Thought it was top 3 (5) and segment winners.

Damn, that 1 car just took off once he got by Edwards.

Add six zeros to that number 1.

You know, wouldn't surprise me if tonight's race pushes Edwards over the edge to leave Roush.

I don't think anyone can be disappointed with the winner of tonight's race. Good job to Jamie.

As a side note: Dogecar got 15th :)

Meanwhile, there's a Nationwide race from Iowa on now, even though you'd have no idea based off of NASCAR's promotion of it

Which unfortunately appears debunks the idea that removing cup drivers will help the series. Doesn't really do anything if no one even knows its on, like I did earlier.

Again, I'd love to know if anyone in that crowd knows any of these drivers apart from the guys driving for cup teams (and a cup driver).

Good grief, how the hell can Sam drive like that? Looks extremely uncomfortable.

Feels awfully weird when you get to the age when you are older than some of the Nationwide Drivers. Case in point - Chase Elliott. Seems almost comparable to asking one of my school friends for their signature...

If you want to troll his fans though, it'll be pretty clever :sly:

Seriously. It's strange to me seeing kids younger than I am being incredibly successful.... and here I am taking a break from college for longer than I was ever going to college and sitting at a desk for $12.50 an hr watching 90's commercials to pass the time...

Is it fair to say that the only reason Chase is this successful or this well known is because of his father? I'd reckon if he had no prior connection to motorsports, no one would know about him.

His father didn't win those two races this year against Cup competition. Sure his dad got his name out there but Hendrick wouldn't of signed him at the age of 14 if Rick didn't think he was talented

Nobody knew who Kyle Larson was and here he is regularly fighting for the win, all the while with no famous family name.
