1 truck set a time in the final round of qualifying.

Also, Ryan Truex was complaining about his shoulder and a headache. Sounds like it's at least a possible concussion, but hopefully he didn't re-injure his previously broken collar bone. Was a pretty serious break that took a long time to heal last year.

Dammit, I missed qualifying for the race in Mid-Ohio. Oh well.

Sorry if this has already been posted but this was just mentioned during the Truck race:

Johnny Sauter will sub for Ryan Truex in Tomorrow's race at Michigan.

I find these speeds insane. They need to slow these cars down. If you don't somebody is going to be hurt tomorrow even worse than Truex.

Hopefully they accomplish that during the test on Monday, but even these trucks are running too fast. Cup should be averaging 190-195, trucks should be 10-15mph less than that on average with Nationwide in the middle.

BK Racing just announced JJ Yeley will be in the 83 tomorrow.

Weird, they said it would be Johnny Sauter earlier in the race. Guess there was a change in plans?

I don't think BK Racing had announced anything at that point, but it was rumored to be either Crafton or Sauter in the 83 tomorrow. I guess FS1 erroneously ran with it being Sauter replacing Truex for tomorrow.

Edit: Turns out neither Sauter or Crafton could fit the seat, thus the announcement of Yeley.

.@Matt_Crafton says he will not drive@Ryan_Truex's car tomorrow because neither he nor @JohnnySauter could fit in seat. #NASCAR

Ah, ok then. Sounds like it was initially what they had in mind, but not being able to fit in the seat sorta changed that.

F1, Le Mans, MotoGP, Indycar all race on tracks where they hit 220mph. If NASCAR cant do it safely then they need to redesign the cars.

They need to slow down too. It doesn't matter what you put on the car/bike, once you go past 200MPH the cars are going way too fast.

Take away downforce and grip. You slow down the cars through the corners which, in turn, means they don't carry as much speed down the straight. Even better, less issues with following other cars since you have less aero grip to lose.

Yeah but then you gain some of that speed back because now you have better ability to slip stream rather than get caught out by dirty air.

Just because you've never seen us doesn't mean we're not around.

The FAQ would be a good place to start. 👍
Thank you.
I had seen you staff guys around, just not on this thread before.

ask Daijiro Kato about that, Suzuka hasn't changed since his fatal, gruesome accident.

moar speeeed! :p

LOL! that was lucky & great awareness!! Lets hope this race gets a little wet!, NNS races in the rain.
that would be sweet!

I have a noob question relating to rain and security, the head and tail lights on all 3 series, they're decals, right?

Yea, they installed a rear 'hazard' light so u know there is a car there, lol, like in Baja !

Lights are still decals
