Admittedly I've never heard/read Marty Smith refer to him by that, and he's my favorite among the NASCAR journalists/reporters.

That makes sense since Penske is the best Ford team in Sprint Cup by a mile right now and Blaney drives for BK.

I knew it was fake once I saw 'Felipe Massa Decapitated', 'George Zimmerman Announces Candidacy for Florida Governorship', 'New Texas Law Makes Homosexuality Illegal', oh and my favorite one is 'Man Dies After Overdosing on Flintstone Vitamins'.

For some reason, I thought it couldn't be true before I even clicked the link (and this is coming from the same person that predicted this very thing would happen) and then I click the link and my virus program freaks out.

That too is my favorite.

Blaney is a Penske driver.
BK= Brad Keselowski, a Penske driver, Blaney drives the #29 Truck for Brad Keselowski Racing...
I'm surprised a GTP vet likes you doesn't know to not multipost, especially to contradict someone who's not wrong.

officially official
M'kay, woodbrothersracing.com is official but their twitter isn't
_______________

First 2015 scheme (not official according to GTPorche cos I'm the one posting it, remember?):

Zest, NOS, Fifth Third Bank and EcoBoost are indeed returning as #17 sponsors.

IMHO the sides are absolutely ugly and kill the PS.

Chill on the attitude man, you are hardly a vet here either. And multi-post has existed for what, week or so?

It was 4+ hours between posts, I thought it was a reasonable enough time that a new post would be better served than editing and potentially having no one see it until hours later.

Also, I'd say the team giving a press release about it is what makes it official, not who's being followed on social media.

That site also broke that Jeff Gordon was gay.
In 2014.
With Ingrid Gordon as his wife.
Yeah, they are much worse than the Onion.

Why do people have to be so damn disrespectful? And the Raikkonen decapitation? Don't even get me started on that.

I don't think even Sniff Petrol goes that far with their satire.

New NASCAR Rule: 9.16 On Track Incident Procedure. During an event, if a race car is involved in an incident and is stopped on the track, unless the car is on fire or other issues (smoke in the cockpit), the driver should remain in the car and only exit the car when told to. No NASCAR driver or personnel are allowed to leave their car and approach a moving vehicle.

So NASCAR needs to voice common sense.

No penalty outlined, so you have no idea how they might penalize the first person to violate the rule.

Hopefully this influences other non-NASCAR affiliated racing to enforce this rule.

To enforce common sense? The sad thing is that they HAVE to enforce common sense. Apparently drivers aren't smart enough to figure out that you shouldn't walk in front or near a fast moving vehicle.

The addition to the rule is that drivers and crew members are not allowed to approach the racing surface. the other rules had been there previously and this means they're going to heavily enforce them now.
