From what I can gather NEMCO is no longer involved with the 66, and next year will run a full time truck again for Joe and John and an Xfinity ride "in select races"

I will follow up with my contact at the shop, but after few issues with the 66, that doesn't surprise me. It wasn't like it really made sense for them in the long run anymore.

10: The number of top-five finishes recorded by Chase driver Joey Logano in the last 14 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. During that stretch, Logano has won twice in the Chase and earned four other top fives in seven Chase races. His worst finish in the last 14 races was 14th at Atlanta.

Think about that for a minute.

Sadler just needs to give it up already. This will be the third team he's driving for and its the worst team. To give an idea of his competitive history:

RCR 2011-2012: Couple of wins but blew it twice (both at the same track)
JGR 2013-2014: One win (Guess where that was) but Nowhere near competitive

And now he actually thinks he might have a shot at RFR. He's driven for two top teams and still failed to win the title. Now he's trying to join a team that's fallen as THE Ford Team thinking he can win the championship. Just hang up the helmet already, or just drive the trucks. He just needs to stop embarrassing himself.

I remember reading that even driving for a bad Nationwide team produces more money than if you're in a championship-contending Truck team. Maybe that's why he keeps on going at the second tier.

There are a few things you can count on in a truck race, JWT being in a wreck at some point, Sauter being mad at someone for a racing deal and German stuffing it into the wall trying to win. Someone called him the Sato of the truck series, he is pretty much on point. I wish he would finally win though!

I already know. And I'm really getting tired of his domination.

It hurts less knowing that he is ineligible to win the championship in any of the top series.

Although I was in and out of the race, I did hear the part where the announcers were talking about the new Cup car for 2015 and how similar it will be to the Nationwide cars, and that could mean more Cup drivers in the lower series. :(

Except he still can win a championship from one of the series: Owners In the Trucks.

You can stop cup drivers from winning the driver's title, but you can't stop them from trying to win the owners title.

Also, why are we still on this tangeant over cup drivers being in Nationwide? We hardly have any decent rookies rising anymore from it (apart from Chase Elliot, Chris Buescher and maybe Kwasneski) And its already been proven that just because you win the Nationwide title doesn't mean you'll win a cup title (The Labontes, Wallace, Gordon, Stewart, Busch, Johnson) so I don't see the point in all the whining anymore. You will never see cup drivers stop participating in the Nationwide series so its pointless to waste your energy wanting it.

6 years of this and your now getting tired of it?

If anything, this feels exactly like 2009: Winning a lot, ESPN kissing his ass, another win at Texas (Replace Joey Logano with Kevin Harvick)

Look, the Cup drivers have been doing this for years, and the only way that it'll stop is if NASCAR bans them from the lower tier events entirely. But since NASCAR has no intention of doing that (at least, that is what it seems like), they'll continue to whoop up on the guys in Nationwide and the truck series.

I'm glad someone else has some logic to what's been going on. People want to blame Joey, Kyle, Brad, Kevin mainly the first 3 for winning so much BUT Roush was just as bad or even worse back in the 90's. The biggest difference between today and then was anyone could almost build a car to go race in Grand National, you might not be fast but you weren't riding around either. Roush always had the top car with Mark in it, then you can add Dale Earnhardt, Mikey, and a handful of others on a weekly basis for most larger teams like RCR. It's all a wash unless someone does step in a ban them, which I think has pros and cons, I'm not against it either way.

I don't know what RCR found in their engine program, but it's nice to see them giving Newman a real chance at this championship. Even Menard, Dillon, and Truex are benefiting greatly from this new speed.

Am I watching a race with lots of legit debris cautions? Or am I having a dream?

Hamlin takes two tires and drops like a rock, while Kez stays out and only just lost the lead. lol

Going to be a wild last 50 miles.

EDIT: Bye 22. Another yellow.
EDIT 2: Damn kahne.
