As it stands at this moment, Jeff is 5th in points.

More drama = more excitement.
That's all NASCAR cares about anymore. They don't care that the driver who has had the best season he's had in years wins his 5th championship. All they want at the fights after the races. No wonder people call it the WWF of racing. No wonder I don't hardly watch the races anymore. NASCAR is the laughing stock of the racing world.

Does have a point.

So to slow it down jimmie wins the race, thankfully messing up the stupid new chase, Gordon goes ballistic all over kezza, and nearly beheads said dude. Paddock goes crazy nearly taking out 1 race reporter and 2 cameramen. Monday just got more exciting.

That doesn't mean wrecking someone in the process.
Brad didn't wreck anyone. Jeff didn't notice that he had made a move to go three-wide, and began to turn for turn 1. I will stand behind Brad for this incident, I'm extremely upset at Gordon for his childish actions tonight.

I know you're standing behind your driver and that's fine. Been there, done that with Stewart, but Kes just is in way over his head.

When you are racing with the proverbial anvil over your head (remember, you are under probation) you do NOT do something like that.
He had every right to make that move, if he didn't, he wouldn't have been trying hard enough.

I think Jeff knows this is his best and only chance for a 5th championship, and he's watching it slip away. I would probably do the same thing in his shoes.
