I honestly find it weird that everyone hates Brad K so much for what he's done. For years there was a driver that raced a lot more recklessly than what Brad's done for quite a while. He was the fan favorite...Not trying to rattle anyone's cage though :sly:

I never thought I would say NASCAR is the WWE of motorsports, but NASCAR is turning into the WWE of motorsports...
I thought the same thing...

When you have any type of organization where someone can get injured/die (including spectators) and have little to no reprocussions, then you are asking for it to happen. NASCAR has no control over situations like this, because they don't want their hands in it. It fuels the fire to just let it burn, and gain media spotlight, and get more monies... Tonight's stuff will be on every news outlet tomorrow morning.. It's a shame really how they do all this, and can't grow up about it. I didn't see Adrian Sutil and the other bloke that crashed today at COTA brawl after the race, because there are reprocussions to their actions, which affect their livelihood.

Keslowski handled it perfectly fine, Gordon needs to grow up. He's been in this sport too long and by now should understand how it all works. Johnson seems to be able to connect the dots fine, why not Jeff? Kevin is just a complete arse and wanted to show himself in the spotlight. I agree that if nothing is done to him, then NASCAR is just doing this to promote themselves...

I'd argue that Kevin started it since neither Jeff or Brad actually started fighting until Kevin shoved Brad. Then he somehow got out of there scot free, and that in particular is just odd. How does the guy who literally shoved his way into a brawl walk out like nothing happened?

Like I said before, if Jeff hadn't started anything with Brad, Kevin would have for being blocked for the last two laps. I'm almost entirely sure that's why he was even there.

Edit: http://www.motorsport.com/nascar-cup/news/gordon-and-keselowski-fight-after-texas-race

Harvick came up behind Keselowski and pushed him towards the heated Gordon. A scuffle ensued with the crews from Team Penske and Hendrick Motorsports teams.

"If you're going to run into people all the time, you're going to have to fight your own fight, and I helped him get in it," Harvick said.

To be fair, I don't really want to see it come to that either as I like to see some emotion from the drivers, just not the all-out brawls we have had recently.

I think Jeff will remain calm next week just so he doesn't ruin any chances of making the last race. But, after Phoenix, if he's officially out.....watch out at Homestead.

Like Gordon said (or something along the lines of) that you can choose to dish it out on the track, in the garage, or at his home...
The difference between an issue like this in NASCAR and F1, is that F1 drivers nowadays keep it on the track. They get emotional about it maybe like the beginning of this season with Lewis and Nico, but their racing did not turn into rage like Gordon's did..

Sure they are on different teams, but you don't see a man from two different teams in F1 walk up to their garage and and give him a Hollywood crybaby line... And then a possible ensuing brawl.

Ugh. What a mess.

I guess I can't blame Keselowski for trying to force it between Gordon and Johnson. He needs to win to get back in this and that was his shot. But at the same time I can't blame Gordon for being ticked. He had the race won and his ticket to Homestead punched until that caution came out with 4 to go. In hindsight, picking the outside on the restart wasn't the best move, either.

Also, regardless of who was right or wrong, Keselowski has no chance in hell of winning this championship even if he advances. Whether it's Gordon, Kenseth, or Hamlin, at least one of them will prevent him from winning this thing.

What Harvick and Gordon did was assault. Why can't Brad just call the cops.

If I were getting roughed up by coworkers after work, I probably would. Especially if I knew the whole thing was caught on video.

Just kidding really, but still...

Keselowski, you just got beat up by a 5 ft. 7 40 year old man, how does that make you feel?
Too bad he didn't have the 🤬 to come at him face to face and had to sneak up from behind him, real tough guy, just like Kenseth.

He went down and HIT the 2 car? No. The 2 car went for a hole that didn't exist.
I'm not sure what race you were watching, but you are either blinded by fan boyism or hate for BK. The 2 was completely beside the 24, it was Gordo that came down to block a hole that didn't exist.

If NASCAR's going to allow this kind of stuff to happen after races they should at least have the drivers watch some hockey fights and bench clearing brawls to know how to really do it. When Harvick pushed Keselowski it looked wimpy, and so did Kenseth's "tackle" a few weeks ago.

Interesting thing to note though is that F1 did have some (not many admittingly) of those moments:

Not as brutal honestly (more hilarious then actually fighting), but still. To be honest though, F1 has this air of exclusivity so naturally they won't even let so much as a swear word come out the drivers mouths. Hell, this is run by a sanctioning body that'll punish just for doing Donuts so its hardly even worth a comparison really.

Its pretty much a racing accident in my eyes. Everyone was going for it, two collided and thunderdome erupted.

Pretty sure he came to him face to face to him the moment he started talking to him so I don't see where he snuck up.

Jr. and McMurray also got into it last night

Whoa, really? Didn't hear about that.

Love that Harvick wasn't afraid to admit he shoved BK into the scuffle, it just makes the fact that he did more funny. If you watch, you basically see him looking like he's about to do it.

I think that that comment was directed at Harvick shoving BK from behind.

Makes sense then as I was unsure how anyone could accuse Gordon of sneaking up when everyone saw him (unlike Kenseth at Charlotte, who really no one expected to do it so it was easy for him to go stealth mode).
