I find alot of what people are saying just sad, like all of a sudden Kurt went crazy on her. Anyone ever think she just is doing this because they broke up and she isn't happy about things? They aren't called ex's for no reason usually....there is alot more to this story.

If I had to guess what happened, she came to his motorhome to talk things out, he was having no part of it at all and kicked her out. She then has went on a crazy streak like this because of his past for one (which I think got blown way way out of the water over what really was going on) and knows how folks well view him regardless.

The car hit the kid. Stewart was driving the car... that's undeniable.
 Do we really need to go over this again? Kevin Ward should have never been in his car to begin with since he was absolutely stoned. So stoned that he had enough marijuana in his system to impair his judgement.

The courts cleared Stewart of legal charges. That is over and done with. Now, Ward's family making it a matter of tort law is a whole different case, but in regards to the criminal charges, it is over and done with. As is the whole primary Stewart news.

We're discussing allegations against Kurt Busch here, not Tony Stewart. And with how severe the allegations are along with how they just came out, we really can't say anything about it-especially in this day and age with how seriously domestic violence cases are treated.

I agree and as much as I dislike Kurt Busch I can't form an opinion about this story. Protocol for domestic violence is someone gets arrested at the scene. I've seen Cops a million times so I'm kind of an expert.:)

All I can say on the Busch news is that he better calm down before something really bad happens. :nervous:

And can we please be done with the Tony Stewart/Kevin Ward incident? There's a thread for it and this isn't it. I'm not trying to be a mini mod, but its just freaking ridiculous and I'm sick and tired of it taking over, or at least trying to take over, this thread.

I just read the ESPN story. The allegations came Wednesday for something that allegedly happened in September. Unless his ex has some really good evidence she doesn't have much of a case. Or does she? We'll have to find out at a later date.

The fact that the incident was reported to be the same weekend of the Dover Chase race - where Busch got eliminated - leads me to believe that this is indeed true. Although, it is strange how the incident was not revealed until today.

Lets actually get the whole story before we jump the boat.

Honestly, I find it the slightest bit suspicious that his ex does this 6 weeks after a supposed incident happened. Wouldn't you do that immediately after or as soon as possible? Just seems fishy to me but I'd like to see the entire chapter before I judge anything.

I could see up to a week before you go to the Police if it happened for being scared, upset and not even sure what happened. It seems odd that we didn't even really know they had broken up, I had no clue but I just think something happened between them to cause them to break up that upset her (it wasn't just we don't work deal....and possibly something that would make her jealous). She went to talk to him about it and he still was like no, get out. If she ran to another bus for ice and help, where is that person....and you don't cover up marks that easy that fast without someone wondering.

Just between those two people, someone would have spoken up to someone about what really happened on some level to cover their own behind. 6 weeks just seems way too long to be completely real....I do believe they probably had an argument, along with maybe even him pushing her out the door of the bus to get her out after she wouldn't leave.

Let's wait and see first. I know Kurt is Mr. Rageaholic but for all we know he may of been acting in self defense. Don't forget how the internet crucified Stewart before all the details came out.

Yup, if it happened it happened and he and the complainant should be treated the same as anyone else - fairly and legally. There's a lot of comment about the timing but in domestic violence reports that simply isn't predictable; by their very nature the situations are full of complications.

As you say though, this is the internet. Guilty! /case :D

Even if the incident wasn't as bad as the article says, Kurt still needs to calm the 🤬 down. I thought he'd turn his attitude around but apparently he's still as ill-mannered as he was before.

Again, wait for more actual information before gunning the hell out of Kurt.

Seriously, you are so ready to down the guy before the whole story is even out. You don't even have no factual basis on this and are simply just running on anger. Chill out.

We have no idea how valid that info is and given that he broke up with her, there's a possibility that she just pulled this whole stunt just to get money from him.

It's quite hard not to dislike someone who's known for anger antics - something that Kurt in particular is known for, and an incident like this is bound to create the same kind of response.

And after reading his ex's claim rather than being the blind and dumb idiot that I normally am;

from Associated Press

Busch has been accused of domestic assault by his ex-girlfriend, and police in Delaware said Friday they are investigating. The Dover Police Department said the allegations were brought to the department Wednesday. Busch's ex-girlfriend, Patricia Driscoll, 36, said the allegations involved an incident inside his motorhome at a race at Dover International Speedway in September. The couple broke up about a week before. Driscoll has filed court documents asking that a judge order Busch to stay away from her and not contact her. She also is asking that Busch undergo a psychiatric evaluation and be evaluated by a certified domestic violence treatment agency. The documents, filed Wednesday, say Busch was despondent the night of Sept. 26 after his poor performance at the qualifying session. "He was verbally abusive to her and said he wished he had a gun so that he could kill himself," the documents say. Driscoll said Busch, 36, called her names and accused her of "having spies everywhere and having a camera on the bus to watch him." He then jumped up, grabbed her face and smashed her head three times against the wall next to the bed, Driscoll says in the documents. Driscoll says she pushed Busch away and ran from the bedroom, going to a nearby bus to put an ice pack on her head and neck. She said the incident caused her severe pain, difficulty breathing and bruising on her neck. A hearing in the case is scheduled for Dec. 2.

I start to doubt the legitimacy of the entire situation. She points out too many specifics that are commonly made-up stories by people who want easy dough.

As for Kurt himself, if it turns out he didn't to anything, good for him. If he is found guilty of the act, sweet lord he's at it again!

15 of the first 16 laps of the truck race under caution due to a wreck right at the green flag or the race? Thanks, John Wes (or is it Wrecks?) Townley! And ironically, right as this posted, the race goes back to caution.

The return of John Wes Townley. Why both NASCAR and his team still let him drive is beyond me.

When his family pours millions of dollars into the sport, he's bound to stick around even if he's a terrible driver. It's the same with Paul Menard, but unlike JWT, Paul actually has some talent. He's just been marred with bad luck throughout his career.

It's not every day that you get over a fifth through a race and see that the longest green flag stint is 4 laps.

Its only hard if you're solely judging him on what he has done and not what he is doing.

There's also the questionable part where they are broken up yet she is in his motorhome (for what reason?). In addition to her coming out with this 6 weeks after this supposed incident, there's also the part where she's in charge of that Armed Forces Foundation (which ironically has suspended their association with Kurt as soon as these allegations were made. Coincidence?). And finally, she wants a restraining order on a driver that broke up with her (which is what you normally would do if you were the one that broke up the relationship and your Ex was stalking you or following you). A lot of questions in the validity of these accusations and the timing of them is very suspect.

Off topic, but the Clay Matthews Fathead commercial is great.
On topic, this power outage isn't great.
