Is it just me or does stuff like this only happen with the trucks?

I don't that that it's just you. There have been a few odd events in the truck series this year that wouldn't happen in the other divisions.
They should change the NCWTS slogan to Tough Trucks, Weird Races.
EDIT: Race is now called as over.

Well race has been called. Guess NASCAR decided they are not gonna run a race if all that happens is the lights going out.

Have to wonder if Hendrick will try to get the team switched up for Homestead if Gordon is still in it.
That might happen, but I'm not sure it will. I'm sure that Hendrick has plenty of reserves, but a crew swap is made, either Johnson or Jr. will be the driver who has to give up his team.
Losing that Ingle guy could be a slight problem, Doucette is easily replaceable for a team like Hendricks:

Jeff Gordon mechanic Dwayne Doucette and engine tuner Jason Ingle, and Kasey Kahne tire changer Jeremy Fuller were suspended for six races and fined $25,000 apiece while Gordon hauler driver/mechanic Dean Mozingo was suspended for three races and fined $10,000 for throwing punches in the fight with Team Penske. Doucette, Ingle and Fuller were determined to have punched Keselowski, while Mozingo was determined to have punched another crewman.

Primary team members:
Crew Chief: Alan Gustafson
Car Chief: Josh Kirk
Race Engineer: Tom Gray
Engineer: Tom Stewart
Shock Specialist: Chris Golder
Engine Tuner: Jason Ingle

Road crew members:
Mechanic: Dwayne Doucette

"Radiant Red" special scheme, pretty sweet:

The return of John Wes Townley. Why both NASCAR and his team still let him drive is beyond me.
I don't think he caused the pileup but was directly behind a car that missed its restart.

Tonight's winner Erik Jones was earlier announced as full-time in Trucks for KBM (# to be decided, 3rd truck?) and with a bigger Xfinity program with JGR next year.

Guess I missed the talking points on all the fun that happened last weekend. Had to hear about it from my buddy in class. BK had it coming :sly:

That buddy of yours from class must be one smart dude. Of course, not a single announcer or analyst that was there and saw the whole thing thought he did anything wrong. The NASCAR officials who reviewed the tapes from every possible angle for two solid days didn't fine BK or the 2 team at all indicating that they didn't think he did anything wrong either. You are, of course, free to base your opinions on whatever criteria you choose. Oh that's right, you are a Gordo fan...that explains a lot :sly:

Pretty sure he's part of #JuniorNation.

So in other news, there's a good chance Chase Elliott is clinching the championship today in Nationwide.

He's pretty much a lock to win it today unless Phoenix results in absolute disaster for him.

Well, it would appear Chase will not clinch it today as Regan is in front of him.

Don't be shocked if Chase Elliot and Kyle Larson become the two biggest stars in NASCAR when both Jr. and Jeff Gordon retire. These guys are destined to become the faces of NASCAR with how much talent they have.

Yeah I'm pretty obvious Junior Nation fan but sorry if I hurt your feelings since you seem quick to defend Brad. Also if NASCAR actually docked points on any driver involved in that scuff then there would be riots. You act as if we're talking about a sanctioning body that habituates and acts in according to true punishment and rationale.

I don't care nor ever cared for Gordon, but seeing the recap of what happened put a smile on my face when he put his fist toward Brad's :sly:. Made me like the guy a bit more. Since you claim nothing was done and use a faulty sanctioning body who built a system for this sort of anger to build and spill over to reap the money, then perhaps it's all the bull crap BK has done up to this point that has caused the proverbial target to be placed on his head. And as Harvick would put it is still there.

Brad's done plenty wrong so let's not play he's just misunderstood. That bottle earlier this season felt the guy was a bad man too hence it cutting him :sly::sly::sly:

Alright boys, Fire it up.

How many laps do you think Kez will last? I say 150
He'll make it to the end of today's race. Everyone with an axe to grind against Brad has too much to lose to take it out on him today. If Brad somehow moves on to Homestead in the final four, and one of those angry guys doesn't advance with him... then there will be hell to pay.

Usually drivers with a lot of heat on them are the ones who do best. Brad's attitude is throwing everyone else off their game and it would amaze me if he doesn't win the championship.

He'll probably have to win the race today just to advance. Beating Harvick won't be easy at Phoenix.

If anyone can beat Harvick on a day like this, it's going to be BK.
