RLM is saying that Toyota is completely screwed at this moment now. No matter what happens, they are in a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario. People will say Toyota is playing politics if the 8 yields the lead to the 7, and people will still say they play politics if the 8 winds up winning because of the 7's misfortune.
The conspiracy theories RLM threw around in the wake of it were disgusting. They genuinely thought they're faking those punctures to let #8 win.

If that's the case it'll be really close in the end, #7 seems to be at least 1 sec faster per lap on average

No way. Even if they were 2sec faster per lap, they're 11 laps from the end, give or take, and 52sec away.

Until just now we've lasted almost 24hr with only one innocently posted dodgy stream. Please don't ruin it this close to the end by knowingly posting dodgy streams.

You're right, I keep forgetting how long the laps are since with the amount of speed they look like it takes them about 2 minutes

Autosport Live reports that it was a tyre pressure sensor issue that caused the #7 problems. Glad to know that Lopez is flying now.

Last 15 minutes.

A bit late, but Bergmeister just went for a final splash and dash. Sounds like #56's second-place finish in GTE AM is secure, however...

18-second gap between the two Toyotas...

Really rooting hard for the Wynn's Ford GT. Would be a win on debut for a customer Ford GT! And a great way to close out the factory effort as the torch gets passed on

Ditto, gives those of us who will miss the departure of the full factory Fords. that the privateer efforts can hopefully carry that torch on. #85 Looking set now with handy gap over the #56 (touch wood!), superb effort on debut, and they survived the penalty scare, so it's certainly been earned. And the GTE-Pro guys will finish in formation it seems too.

Yay for Toyota, taking another LeMans win. Still a bit sad Ford couldn't even get podium this year in GTE Pro, but yay the Wynns Ford GT took a win at GTE Am!

#8 Toyota win LMP1, and win outright!
#36 Signatech Alpine win LMP2!
#51 AF Corse win GTE Pro!
#85 Keating Motorsports win GTE Am!

Congratulations to Toyota, Signatech Alpine, AF Corse and Keating Motorsports for their class victories this year. 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th can't be a bad send-off for the factory Fords, either.
