Rumor has it that Dixon will be going to Arrow McLaren next year. Christian Lundgaard would be departing.

Pato o'ward wins Mid Ohio Grand Prix for his first win of the season

Arrow - McClaren has a 1 - 2 finish for the first time in Indy Car history.

Christian Lundgaard - P 2
Kyle Kirkwood - P 3

Rinus Veekay and Alex Palou round out the top five.

Another very mid race at Mid-Ohio

St. Petersburg 4
Phoenix 7
Arlington 3
Barber 2
Long Beach 2
Indy GP 5
Indy 500 9
Detroit 6
St. Louis X (missed in the middle of the night)
Road America 6
Mid-Ohio 3

I don’t know if I’d call it mid. I’m happy for Pato, there were some good races mid pack, and it’s a rare full green flag race.

Felix Rosenqvist and Scott Dixon to join McLaren for 2027. Lundgaard and Nolan Siegel both out.
wait... WHAT ?? I can understand Siegel but Lundgaard has been pretty good this year.

2 wins, and finishes of P 2, P 3, P 5 and P 7 in the ten races so far.

Lundgaard is going to be a good pick up for another team. And he’ll be even more motivated after being dumped after such a good season.

roll bars have electronic adjustments instead of knobs or levers

batteries instead of super capacitors

spec dampers

larger cockpit

I was hoping for something a bit crazier looking but I think it looks good. if the IR18 and a 2022 f1 car had a baby, it would be this.

Josef Newgarden is one of the most accomplished drivers in today's IndyCar field, with two series championships and back-to-back Indy 500 wins. This recent interview goes beyond the results and gives a good look at the mindset, pressure, and determination it takes to keep competing at that level.

Looks like the DC circuit is incredibly boring

A planned city that is known to be mostly flat hosting a street race. Yeah, this wasn't going to be anything but boring. The last race in DC was in a parking lot (RFK). There wasn't much they could do unless they wanted to work with the circles and exclude the White House.

Terrible planning by the city and promoter led to this. Practice 1 just went green after all of the delays on what looks to be a interesting track.

I hear the city of Markham is a real pain in the ass when it comes to organizing events. I'm not so sure about this track yet, Exhibition Place wasn't the fanciest venue around but at least you were in downtown Toronto, which is way more fun than Markham.

Doesnt the development near Exhibition place end ever returning to that location?

Just finished watching the highlight reel from today. I think "Cluster🤬" is the perfect descriptor for today's race. Of course, with Markham being a brand new track, there's going to be hiccups and drivers may not be 100% confident in how to race a circuit for the first time.

Even with that, between all the chaos in the race itself, and Friday being what it was, I personally wasn't too impressed by the event as a whole imo. Hope that some of the lessons learned this weekend carry over to next year.

Bring on Milwaukee.

The fact they couldn't use curves and had the 90 degree corners with teeth is disappointing.
