If i dropped this game people would wonder if I've hurt my head.

Nope I have no plans dropping it. Making this the longest hardcore run on any game in the GT-series.

Forza 4 will have to have a lot of unique features for me to drop gt5. The whole kinect thing I am still not convinced about.

Since I don't own an Xbox, I guess I'll just continue playing GT5... not that I would stop even if I did. Forza is just a Microsoft imitation, nothing is truly better than the original - and I wouldn't be suprised if people dropped FM4 and came back to GT5 after a month. That's all Fartza will ever amount to, just simply an answer from Microsoft. GT will always be the benchmark and we will always look down at other games to see what ridiculousness they have in store to "compete" with a franchise that really is untouchable.

Games like Farza just aren't fulfilling enough, IMO. Gran Turismo which has been world renowned for at least a decade and some change. It has been the game of choice for every car enthusiast since it came out, and nothing is going to change that. You can huff and puff all you want on these forums, but we all eventually come back to GT because deep down inside we really ****ing love that game.

lots of people with a bit of angst on this thread. Presumably because there is a quite alot of people who are not moving ship to forza.

i guess after the constant mantra on how supposedly GT5 is a disappointment repeated through the interwebs and how a lot of people are supposedly disappointed, this poll throws a wrench into the works.

I guess some folks are just annoyed and more likely hurt which is frankly strange to me. because if you think forza is a good game then there is no need to be down or catty. Just go play your xbox and your forza and enjoy.

This is just jealousy and my mommy always used to say there is no cure for jealousy.

This is the exact kind of narrow minded thinking I was talking about. Have you even played the Forza games? I'd guess not since you can't even bring yourself to spell it's name correctly. Fartza? What are you, 12?

Who's "we"? Speak for yourself pal.

GT5 is good, but not everyone here thinks it's the end-all, be-all of racing games. At least not me. I will always play other racing games, simply because I refuse to restrict myself to one game or franchise.

I had to vote yes because to ME GT5 was such a let down. I played it for a couple of months only because I raced online with a great bunch of people, if it wasn't for that it would of been collecting dust a month after I bought it. I waited for GT5 for so long and it was just a big let down. I had bought forza3 to have something to play while I was waiting for GT5, and I still play forza3. Sad because I absolutely loved GT1, played that game for what seems like forever. Hopefully GT6 will bring me that same feeling GT1 did, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Aha, that makes sense.

Wonder how many who voted no on the poll own an Xbox but arent buying Forza.

I reckon oooohh about....... None.

Edit I'm wrong. I know at least one. Lol.

My GT5 will more than likely be getting put a way for a while when F12011 is released, not because F1 will be a better game but because I keep getting disconnected from online servers! About 5 rooms I joined tonight to be immediately disconnected after a minute or so :( I can no longer enjoy this game.

Nah, I'm not ready to drop GT5 just yet :)

I don't play it as much as I did on release, but I have only just discovered the fun of 16 car shuffle races with a bunch of friends... it's amazingly fun chaos

Voted no, simply because I'll need a 360 first and I have little interest in one.

The poll is looking dangerously like a well endowed man part.

No, I'm a grown man, not a prissy girl and I don't have to make a big, emotional deal about some silly idea of loyalty towards a videogame franchise.

A videogame is to be enjoyed. Anyone that would "drop" a fantastic game because they live in an all-or-nothing world is only denying themselves the chance to enjoy both.

Same here, plus I'm so sick of the random maintenance that improves nothing.

Lol every single 1 of your post has been a server complaint. What an odd member.

seemed to have some odd physics, including the dodgy over steer modelling from TDU2 and Shift 2.

Oh man I hope the final product isnt like this.I hated shift 2 physics.

BTW there are gameplay videos all oover youtube for the people who didnt know or only seen screenshots
Graphics are okay not on gt5 level but its good enough

I don't understand this logic. Why would you need to drop a game just because a similar game comes out in the same genre?

Well for some (myself included), being reduced to 2 f1 ferrari vehicles just doesnt cut it. There-fore, are awaiting the release of f1 2011.

Because they are childish and just want to start another fanboy war?

F1 is my favorite game, but I didn't sell GT5 just because I now have F1 2011. They're different games altogether really. I could never do without my Le Mans and Super GT cars in GT5. Nor could I do without the race modded cars, for that matter.

I did spell it correctly. Also Sticks and stones bro, you can be as mean as you want but then again the truth does hurt and I don't blame ya. Farce-a is good and would probably hold my attention for about a month I'm guessing, but with every other driving game I've ever played - none of them measure up to Gran Turismo and before I know it GT is back in the PS3 and what ever that other game was is sitting on a shelf at Gamestop with a "used" lable on it.

Even GT5's gimpy ass still calls to me. PD got the essentials down pat, the presentation and design are always subjective but at the end of the day GT always seems to pull together the best console-driving experience on the market. Always has, probably always will. Fatza is just another soul-less imitation built entirely on the premise of sheer competition - as if there was one - and for that it will always be second rate.

When Turn 10 decides to do something that makes them really stand out, than they might tap into some of Gran Turismo territory. But everything they do is driven and focused purely on comeptition - gotta have the best version of this, gotta have a more fleshed version of that - things taken from other games. lol... Foolza...

But you go ahead and buy it. Not gonna stop ya bud. 👍

I agree with this.

Why has Forza got to be the best? Why couldn't they just settle for second best?

No, no no Forza's gotta go and do it better haven't they.
Well I hope your satisfied now Turn 10.

The two worst posts on the last page.

Seriously? Fan boys now bust on other games for trying to be the "best"? Well how could "Fart-za" (hehe) be best? GT5 is da beztezt eva!!!!

Seriously, what kind of stupidity rates a game they don't even own the system to play, let alone finer details like "hasn't come out yet"?

I don't own an XBOX, so I can't tell you about any FM game, but I'm not stupid enough to openly rag on a game I've clearly never played.:dunce:
