These are once again very basic and can be improved upon I'm sure. Especially in additional streaming edge/point zones as I don't go overboard with the edges (lazy boy tactics )

Anyway, I hope they are of use

There are existing config files in the extension/config/tracks/loaded folder for Dayton & le Mans 1991 add these to the bottom and save

Add to end of existing track.ini in yourpc:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\loaded

or create your own ext_config.ini file in the tracks extension folder (Don't forget to copy over the any__lights.kn5 file from the loaded folder too)

Hmm... both LeMans configs state they are made for Lemans 89 by Jim Lloyd and Terra21. They are different thought and I'm not sure which is which ?

Man, with all the good mods I have, I'm finding it so difficult to get rid of enough of my data to backup my files XD Currently down from around 900 to 805GB, and the largest space I have to create a backup has only 582GB free XD Unless I'm being an idiot and completely misunderstanding how creating a backup works XD

Are you using LZX compression? It compresses your mods to about a third of their size, it's reliable, and it really does work. Look for it in the Content > Tools > Compress Files section, or you can use CompactGUI. It's only available on Windows 10. I have over 1.4 TB of mods on a 500 GB Drive.

The Content > Tools > Compress Files is part of Content Manager.

download CSP 1.52 Custom Shaders Patch (acstuff.ru) and take the sfx folder from that and put it in the extension folder in main AC folder, should work

My very modest and tiny contribution to AC.
3 weatherFX plans for short race, about 15 to 25mn, but it runs in a loop so no worries of duration.

Gonzo1: evolution from clear to overcast sky or light drizzle (20% chance) then back to clear.
Gonzo2 : evolution from clear to light rain or light drizzle then back to clear.
Gonzo3 : evolution from clear to rain or light thunderstorm then back to clear.


Change the .txt to .lua and put in AC > extension > weather-controllers > ground > weather_plans

Sorry for the moment I'm at the maximum of my possibilities

Thanks for the help. Can you also grab the latest 1.5.3 version of the cup-spec Geely Binrui and Binyue cars as well? Assettoland currently only has the 1.2 version

Did anyone manage to grab the updates to these cup cars? I know these Geelys are Rollovers-tier mods but I have a morbid curiosity to try them.
I did try to download them directly but hit the same issues others did.

Thanks to all of the above for the car in its current state. This is the work I done myself to bring the car up to standard for racing in our league as it was very unoptimized and even had lots of png textures too.

. fixed collider
. updated some car shaders
. converted all PNG textures to DDS
. updated wheel AO and shaders
. updated all skins to match texture and shader changes
. created and added optimized LODs
. little wind screen glass casting no shadow now (maybe better or not as tinted?)
. mirror texture replaced with a proper reflective one for seeing on other cars and LODs
. disabled ABS but left available but really not needed
. removed traction control

Car folder renamed so you can test against old/other model and use both if you would like instead of wiping one of them out.
Version 0.9 chosen to not get confused with the previous unoptimized version and it is not really a 1.0 car in the first place. So other than a few fixes and tweaks this car was modified in order for it to run properly for all of our league users computers. I think it is fair to share with everyone else.

Ningbo International Circuit Reworked (free version)

Fan of GT3, WTCC and WTCR, I like to create championships in Content Manager as realistic as possible.
Unfortunately we do not have this track registered in the official race calendars.
The track is in Raceroom but not for Assetto Corsa except a paid version in China at 60 euros !!!
However, there was a 2018 track base available for free on a Chinese website but very, very little known here. The problem is that it is outdated today with CSP + mod SOL. A lot of things are missing: no map, just 10 pits, no AI line, no grass, no skins, in short, very very basic
After an exchange by messaging with a Chinese simracer friend, I decided to launch the Ningbo International Reworked Project for the GTPlanet forum.
So I contacted modders who are members of GTPlanet and who are already sharing their work here for free.
The project is currently in the BETA phase.
Members _EASY_, Dabaeda and kevink2 are working on this project which I hope you will like.
A big thank you to them already for the creations AI line, Pit box, grassFX, extension file, grass skin ......
I sent requests for the realization of the WTCR and Asian Blancpaint GT Series skins at first,
if you are interested in this please do not hesitate to contact me privately.

. fixed collider

I also did not want to carry on to version 1.5 as no way is this car half way to version 2 in my opinion of course. So I settled on v0.9 and changing the folder name so it will not affect the 1.5 version. Maybe one day it would be good enough for v1.0 but not the way it is now I hope that makes it clear and I hope you enjoy the car if you do try

Has any one here re-created a championship for the 1989 World Sportscar Championship, endurance group c?
The 1989 World Sportscar Championship season was the 37th season of FIA World Sportscar Championship motor racing. It featured the 1989 FIA World Sports Prototype Championship, which was open to Group C1 Sports Prototypes, Group C2 Sports Prototypes and IMSA GTP cars.
The championship was contested over an eight round series which ran from 9 April to 29 October 1989.
We probably have all the cars and all the tracks.
