Ah, AC. The gift that keeps on giving. You think you've hit a relatively bug-free patch, but then it reminds you that all that CSP jazz is in perpetual beta :

Why is this happening now. Didn't change anything, from CSP to visual settings... The background is all kind of ****ed.
Wtf.

Here (It's a pay mod btw)

Elias version is ok but has one layout and road mesh and curbs are better on h22 version (patreon). It also has two layouts including chicane as in Turismo Carretera historical races.
In general I highly recommend Labestia tracks. For me he is one of the best modders in terms of road mesh and curbs (gunnar is another)
His latest Villicum (still WIP) is just one of the best Argentinian tracks AC has right now.

It looks the same with every pp filter because filters don't work in the showroom, it doesn't use the game engine.
Same goes for video settings, they don't matter in there. The only settings you ca check are those in the tabs inside the showroom itself

Actually, you can change the PP filter in showroom, but not in CM's custom showroom.

Hello. New user question, but I didn't find a "solution" yet.
Is this Monza layout available somewhere (10k and double chicanes version > 1966)?

Thank you.

I think @Marneus_boss may have created that layout from the Kunos version last year? The link for Monza 1967-74 is inside his mega folder. I haven't checked it out myself though.

50€ is more than AC itself and on top of that you're paying for Forza cars lmao. I would much rather drive those Forza models in AC. I like Forza's general car choices, but I hate its child-oriented simplistic physics. Plus Geroda puts a lot of effort in the physics, precisely. It's not 100%...

Hi all,

a few of us have been polishing up the Balcarce conversion by Gilles75. (Autódromo Juan Manuel Fangio)

Here's how it looks now:

balcarce (2 layouts - new vao patch, AI, UI+track maps).rar 32.5 MB
https://mega.nz/file/D8QzVYgD#ygNJWEKTyTXtkabNh1CD3bEaxjtqYVtD-jfbrVNUmEI

Non-chicane layout, non-collidable barrels removed + VAO patch by @norms.
New AI, UI & track maps by @LiquidSkyMan.
Track Testing by @RobertFlagg.

link above taken down, so if needed PM me
Enjoy :gtpflag:

Would you please update this track download link?

Tearing my hair out with a new crash that is plaguing my Assetto Corsa. I have reinstalled CM, CSP (versions various, anything after 0.1.69 seems to trigger the issue), SOL, done the Steam Integrity Check on AC, updated Fanatec drivers and Fanalabs, and tried original and mod cars/tracks. Unfortunately the CM error message is most unhelpful (simply: Game crashed. Content Manager couldn't find out what's wrong.), and the one common thread to the crashes seems to be putting a wheel or wheels on the grass/dirt. I can drive around the track ok, but as soon as I put a wheel off (not triggered if only on kerb) it crashes. Wondering if anyone has encountered something similar, and if so, what fixed it?

Edit to add: some additional testing (sequential CSP version testing) has it working ok at 0.1.71, with problems from 0.1.72 onwards. Have also tried deactivating the obvious things associated with crossing onto grass like: Grass FX, Particle FX, Tyres FX, with no improvement. I was previously using 0.1.73 with zero issues 🤷‍♂️

Yeah well.. That track is damaged and I don't know how nor why. AC is getting on my nerves as time passes - swear there's always one broken ****ing thing happening every week despite me not changing anything.

Morning fellas.. ive read somewhere that in the next CSP Preview Ilja is going to add TreeFX .. is that true?
can some of the beta testers here confirm this maybe?

and if true how is this supposed to work?

Thank you, as far as I can see these revamped versions are for road track and not road+"oval". Am I correct, @Marneus_boss? :)

little question, are the automatically generated rain tires for the FH 2021 good enough to race in treacherous conditions?

Hi,

I wonder what might be causing this:

1629794763871.jpeg

Like a constant sunny spot around the car - moves along as I drive. Can be other way around too - a cloud following me. Happens with a couple of Velo's cars (DB4 GT and E-Type LM), not depending on the track I choose. I've tried all I know (messing with lod-settings and cameras mostly).

Anybody with a similar issues and/or fix? This totally ruins these car that I would REALLY like to have and be able to enjoy. My CSP version is 0.1.60.

I had similar issue but instead of sunny spot i had huge dark cloud, car had skinned mesh shader and removing that did the trick.

Interesting. Do you remember what exactly did you remove and how, what was the problem shader? You changed some shader in the kn5-file?
