EDIT: It's indeed fun. And it is so well made that I'm going to keep it installed anyway (for a nostalgic reason)...
Needs wipers though...

I will test the Clio and see. But first there's a BMW waiting to be released and now I have to test if I gained some fps as well.

Haha, no rush mate. With all the good weather stuff going on, it is a bit strange that new mods come without wipers.
You'll be surprised how much faster this Clio is. Not in topspeed, but it has so much more grip that I'm thinking it might be overdone.
Skins from the 'old' version fit this one too, just needs a name change for the body and windows.dds files (there's only external windows btw and the 'old skins' only show numbers/names on the side windows.

Btw: that CM compression thing: does it affect loading time if you use compressed stuff ?

I would've had to say its a bad thing, which I haven't, for it to be hypocritical. Perhaps you should pay more attention.

I got the DRM mods and RSS mods from this thread months ago, also the indy cars from VRC and their tracks....... only recently the mods cracked down on it.

I would normally buy stuff but seemed to good to pass up.

By your definition then, if you went to a BestBuy to buy stuff and saw there were no clerks there that you'd just steal it, because, "it seemed to good to pass up" . Can't believe you shared that, but you be you.

So yeah the odd download link from FREE mods on RD i did not think would cause such a stir...anyway i am back on RD now...used wi fi in McDonalds and download under new IP to my laptop then can upload to my PC....

All you have to do is right click on your AC content folder and go to properties and then compress 👍

Hi mate, i saw the edited bmw M8 can you remove it? its still from our cars pack, we going to put in freedownload the reworked version that we have for the le mans event, please respect the work.

This BMW M8 by Rollovers I've reworked, it's an rFactor 2 conversion (using Ninja Ripper, when it worked properly, before Studio 397 changed something in the encryption)
Let's see their new update how it is. Hopefully they did all the improvements I made.

Since the spirit of modding, for me, is sharing knowledge as well, to improve all the mods we have, considering the majority of mods have no working wipers, internal glass for raindrops and damage glass, I told him they can export from my reworked version, all the object they need to improve what is missing in their version, since it's the same rF2 car. It takes 2 mintes in 3DS Max. For this reason I made the online video tutorial: the more people learn how to do it, the more cars will be up to date for CSP, the more AC simracers will enjoy the almighty sim.

As you use some of FM7 elements - how difficult is to convert the M8 from there?

GTT Sport tracks can be extracted (for over seven months now) yet nobody has produced one, or even said they're working on one. I'm guessing they take too much work?

I have the FM7 model ready at 90/95%
With CM I could fix the driver position as well. Unfortunately I don't know how to make the steering wheel to turn with the driver hands.
Also, when I started using 3DS Max, my idea was also to import the driver animation into a modded car. Problem is, the "scale factor" is never 1.0.
I tried following some hints online, but never managed to get that 1.0 scale factor, which is mandatory, if you want to import a driver.
I tried creating the animation via 3DS Max, like I do for wipers/doors, but I guess it doesn't work like that.

The car is there. Whoever want to work on it, send me a private message and I will link the file with fbx, texture folder and AC car folder.

At least 50% of the cars were having some custom neon lighting in them. On windscreen, air intake or doors.

I wanted to say thanks to those that contribute to this thread, both with cars and tracks and updates, and with the helpful information of how to fix things manually. I've fixed a few mods that were broken or less than optimal because of your helps. Mucho thanks. Whether it's updated AI lines, adding balloons and helicopters, reviving dead cars and adding new skins, or even fixing broken headlights, you guys have improved my enjoyment of AC at least two-fold.

And the second reason I finally made an account here is to utilize the Ignore User feature. I've had enough of a particular member and their tripe.
