Updated Lime Rock Mountain Update

Sorry to do this, but it hit me as I was working on the track that I forgot to give the new terrain I added a proper name. Should have started with 1GRASS. This would have caused you to fall through the terrain if you got into a grass area. Should work properly now.

Lime Rock Mountain v2

I also updated the grass textures (less saturation and brightness) and added a few grass skins you can try. One is a mask skin that reduces the amount of brown areas in the grass. One is just a slightly lighter and more saturated version of the default grass in case I went too far on the update. The third (Summer Grass) skin has a completely new grass mask that gives the grass more of a brown\green look. The grass is still greenish, but has more of a summer green look. You'll see what I mean.

I'll try to be more careful in the future with my updates...

Optional Lower Saturated Skins

LRM Lower Saturated_Skins

Created a couple of lower saturated skins and alternative ext_config for the grassfx. The skins are self explanatory. The updated config adds a little more patchy look to the grassfx. Only drawback to the new grassfx is that the grassfx completely disappears in the winter. The original is included to revert back to. You just need to rename the file.
Original post updated with some optional lower saturated skins and alternative ext_config. I go back and forth on how saturated I want things so I just created skins for when I change my mind. I figured I should share them.

Hi there,

I have a question about modding engine power.

I have real-life torque/power curve data for a car. I want to translate it to Assetto Corsa. What kind of math do I need to do for that?

Power.lut uses only the power generated by the engine without the turbo; the data I have is both engine and turbo. So how would I figure out what to enter in power.lut?

Thanks for your help.

If you Push F5 or some other cams there is this little thing for a short amount of time to see, how can i change the Flag logo from cars, and no it is not under ui, where are the infos for cars stored for this? Please help me guys...
I think I've experienced this issue before. Turns out there are two things you need to change. You've already changed the one in the UI folder, but have you changed logo.png in the mod's main folder?
Thank you for your help. :)

WIP - Circuit Ricardo Tormo

I'ìve decided to put my hands on a old track i've updated in the past (with some settings by @slider666), it's a complete config rebuild and news cams too. Soon available

Meanwhile, here's a replay of a night lap (UNEDITED video, just a straight upload as it is)

OK, actually i have no time for the implementation of the other layouts, maybe in the future i will take a look. Meanwhile later i will release the update (here's some screens)

Changelog:
  • New scratchmade ext_config (which includes some settings from original config by @slider666)
  • New TV Cameras
  • Updated UI
  • New pitlane_ground_fix.kn5 for fixing the hole in the mesh under the garages
  • New models.ini to implement the kn5 above
  • New models.vao-patch

A huge thanks to @pugsang for his always precious help with that damn normals which put on hold this update and to @racinjoe013 to help me hours to figure out what was my problem with all-winter config if seasons were set in the ext_config (the well known problem that i always reported) and for the new condition which let lights works if rain

DOWNLOAD UPDATE (download, unzip, drag-drop-overwrite without any fear):

The config works fine in combo with this track skin made by Morizottom available on RD and downloadable at this LINK

outer layout included or just the full circuit like the other mods?

Vallee De Munster Rally France - rain and grass and vao and so on...

Track can be found here: https://assettorallygrb.wixsite.com/rallygrb/copia-di-spain-portugal

  • You should be able to copy the files straight into you assetto corsa folder as long as you have the track installed. It will ask to override - backup your track if you want to keep the original files.

  • If the new grass still won't show check your assetto corsa folder: extension/textures/grass_fx. You should have a "highlands.dds" file in there, otherwise no grassFX.

IF i will find time, i evaluate to try to unlock the second one too, but i don't know if i found enough time to make it (it requires to move stuff in 3D space as far as i remember)

Hi guys,

we just released the Jarama 4H skin pack.

I invite you to download the needed cars. The links are given in the video description. You might think, that you already have some of the skins, because I offered them as single downloads a while ago. As we also rework the cars used, you should delete the old skins and use the new ones. The single downloads will not be updated anymore, only the packs will receive updates.

We have worked hard to bring three cars up to more modern AC standards. The Ferrari F40 LM by beto.fr, the Porsche 968 Turbo RS by Shokeus and the Ferrari 348 GTC-LM by Claudio Cas. All cars have received significant updates and of course a working class BOP.

I wish you a lot of fun. Please do not hesitate to give us your valuable feedback. What do you like and what could be improved. This is a long term project and we have the chance to pull things in the right direction.

Have fun.

I am out .... doing some Dijon 4H skins now :-)

first of all thank you very much for the skin packs!
Regarding the Ferrari F40 LM, have you already released the updates somewhere and I have missed that, or is that coming in the future?

Hi,

first of all my thanks and appreciation for the project. I think we a lot of great vintage and retro stuff but thoe 80s or 90s like here are lacking a bit.

I made a quick race-weekend @jarama09 with the cars above. And i saw a issue with the F40 which is faster than the rest of the field by couple of seconds. Something is wrong with the BOP? (I must add i don`t use CM if this could be related to the issue)
