Does anyone know if there are many cars for the 2003 Le Mans grid? Im struggling to find some, in particular the Lister LMP which i dont think i'll have much luck with just because its so obscure. The MG Lola EX257 is another...has anyone worked on any of the 2003 cars, i've got a fair few from watching YT or purchasing VRC content.

The closest i can get visually to the MG is the Lola B2K/10...which really isnt that close.

Gran Turismo 6 has a great laser scanned version of Le Mans 2005. Probably the oldest "historic" scanned track that's also ready to convert. That would be amazing.
Isn't that track grand-fathered from Gran Turismo 4? Anyways, Gran Turismo 6 has laser-scanned "real world" tracks but I doubt they went back in time to 2005 to laser-scan the old track

the Le Mans 2005 of Polyhpony was not laser scanned, it was marvelously done and it's by far the only and best version of le mans of this era.

Asheville Speedway Lenght 0.54 Miles The Asheville–Weaverville Speedway near Weaverville, North Carolina was considered to be the site for old-school NASCAR races in both the Grand National and Winston Cup Series eras. From 1951 to 1969, the race course offered some wins from drivers

East London Prince George Circuit South Africa - rain and grass and vao and so on...

Track can be found here: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/prince-george-circuit-south-africa.26267/

It's the version with no curbs at all. Looks more 1949 than 1967 to me but it's fun to drive either way.

  • You should be able to copy the files straight into you assetto corsa folder as long as you have the track installed. It will ask to override - backup your track if you want to keep the original files.

  • If the new grass still won't show check your assetto corsa folder: extension/textures/grass_fx. You should have a "highlands.dds" file in there, otherwise no grassFX.

Hi guys, maybe someone has already posted this question. But since a couple of CSP versions, I have this strange problem on replays, with grass tufts that appears and disappears on the middle of track. Obviously, the grass on normal playing is ok. The problem appears only on replay (Camtool or game standard replay is equal). Bug or some settings to set?
No solution I could offer, but I can confirm the problems. Popping upp grass in serveral tracks. Only visible using camtool cams. Maybe some has else has an idea!?

Some tracks in Gran Turismo 4 were laser scanned, yes. Low poly and without bumps of course, but iRacing came out 3.5 years later so I'm not sure why you'd be surprised. Polyphony had a lot of money and they spent it. The accuracy of GT4's Le Mans and Nordschleife makes it kind of obvious, just compare them to any other game from 2004-2014 working from CAD data.

Argentinian tracks collection (H22) new AI

This a collection of new AI side lines and fast lanes for the Argentinian tracks made by H22 or Mauro David Gonzalez. The patch was mainly made to have a better behavior for the Turismo Carretera 2023 cars (Gran Turismo Sudamericano Gen 2) by APVS.

These cars have a bad AI behavior. It was patched by the authors but they still running off the track lines. So it was difficult to make a working AI for the Turismo Carretera tracks. They still run a little on the curbs and grass, touching each other to spin but much less than before.

There are 18 new AIs, I always patched the main layout, except for Buenos Aires, which also has the old GP layout patched.

thanks for this. I think you forgot to include la pedrera in the upload as the readme says 18 tracks but there are only 17. Would be great to have ai for this track as they always crash trying to enter the pits

Not going to discuss about the quality, but let me make one thing clear on this “ for free” .
Its not free, its based on what you are wanting to spend on this track, with a minimum of $1,-as a start.
Just try it.

edit: Think its my not supported webbrouwser thats bugging here, because indeed with my new iPad its working using the zero. Sorry and moderator this post and the quotes can be deleted.

Sometimes I notice the problem on standard replays too..... anyway, I'm happy that I'm not alone.

You can enter "0" (zero) if you want it without making a contribution (or to get it "free").

Does anybody know how to increase grass draw distance? So you don't see at distance a green flat blanket

Thank you for all your works!

Is this fix compatible with "RainFX, Seasons, LightsFX and GrassFX 0.1" by ktulu77?

Yes it's compatible, but don't use the version from RD, that's only v0.1, CM loads the newer v0.2 automatically.

It's 18 because I did 2 layouts for Buneos Aires. I can do Pedrera too but I don't have a link for the track.

Carrieres de Beez in Belgium - I think I'll use some more words this time.

I found the updated ini by sliderman and lebluem on this forum.

Date says 2019 and it works pretty much with the original track by Gilles75
over at Racedepartment : https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/carrieres-de-beez-1-0.21481/

I didn't alter much, just adjustments here and there and I added basic rainFX.

I'm not sure about posting this at all but if RMi_wood is in fact working on Reims and rainmaker might revisit his Sachsenring version, I could make peace with ye olde public Gilles tracks :-)

So the config is in the attachement, I kept all the original credits as they were and I won't post this on RD.
And I kept the flying rooster as well.

I hope this is alright, if not let me know and I'll of course remove the post.

This is currently possibly being worked on slowly but surely by Slider now. I won't speak for him though. Possibly in the near future we may see an updated version of this track. Maybe good to collaborate?

That's good to hear - I think Beez is really fun to drive and I just love to have it available for Assetto.
I'll take down my post then - Slider will do a great job for sure.
Regards, B.B.

I don't know if you need to take it down. It's been around for awhile. All I was saying is that it's getting a little bit of attention.
(it's been cemented in my quote anyways :D )

oh ok, pedrera is one of the tracks locked behind their patreon so if you don't have it don't worry about it
