RainFX for Maple Valley -- just add to the track's ext_config.ini file.

ADDENDUM: The TRACK_OCCLUDER_BOX sections, which specify areas of no rain, have been known to cause problems for some people. If this is an issue for you, just comment out those lines with semicolons or delete them.

Don't worry, that mod should become abandonware anyway as it's so outdated, much like their 2013 DTM cars... It was made for a version of AC that is long gone.

Am I right that the URD 2015 PX pack never got to 1.0? Just eternally sitting on 0.99?

Were there ever any community patches other than the lights one?

And yet, they're still available for sale... fair to say that's a very hard no for someone to pay a cent for an out of date, in-beta-for-a-decade mod...

Thank you for doing this!!! Seems my release was too fast.
I am shocked that i forgot rainFX (normally always included in my works).. will be included in the next update.

[monza17]

Hey all,
Would anyone happen to have the prototype group C mods pack by @monza17 that were posted here a few years ago?
There's some cars in here that I'd really like to add to the collection, and the original link is dead. There's no other links available on the internet too it seems

Hello, i could reupload them. just give me a few days

[Vintagedriver]

Rainy day... I was just fiddling around with semaphores...

Luccaring hasn't green lights, I don't know how to change color from red to green via config

Request: Is it possible to do this also for other circuits? I have some with static semaphores.
Is it also possible to make an alternate orange light only, like some semaphore at the pits entrance.

Just posted an update of Croft 2019 @ Racedepartment.
Thanks to Fanapryde, Macko68 and CrisT86 for suggestions and contributions.

Croft 2019

Another update to this great British track. Done for v3.0: Added Google multi map to grass and terrain shader. Many edits and tuning of meshes and shaders. Grouping of objects for better FPS. Redone the trees closer to real life. Edited tyres...

I'm running a URD SuperGT cup with a bunch of collegues. and i'm doing some troubleshooting for a couple of them.

Any idea why the mirrors work when there's rain but when there's sun the mirrors on the car is just a black hole?
where do i start to look?

Don't know if this can help, but just in case it gives you any clues... https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/assetto-corsa-pc-mods-general-discussion.307899/post-14069018

RainFX for Maple Valley -- just add to the track's ext_config.ini file.

Just to let you know, the [TRACK_OCCLUDER_BOX_...] sections caused issues for me - causing cars / bits of track to be incorrectly hidden

[jac0]

for the beautiful Mitsubishi Lancer EVO GT500, posted earlier today by Greg_ST
DOWNLOAD here an alternate sound (without the annoying buzzer).

So this is for who hates that downshift buzzer when shift timing is wrong and shift wrong ALOT like myself and don't wanna be bothered to learn to correct that

PS: drag & drop enabled for CM (and installs a backup of the original sfx in case you wanna revert)

[Quikslvr]

I've heard of that happening for some folks; not sure why. I use it only to define areas of no rain. Just comment those lines out with semicolons or delete them if you're having this issue. (FYI, I'm on an older version of CSP -- 1.80 preview 1 -- so it's possible this issue occurs with more recent versions. If anyone has any insight into this, I'd love to hear from you!)

NEWS

Beta tester continuously making the Modern Day Racing Series better by adding stuff and finding bugs. Nashville seems to be good and I might will release it this week. Zwiss added the missing guard rails for Dijon 1979 and I made a bunch of car fixes wich took me two days to make only the Audi GT3 working with a acceptable BOP for the GT3 championships. Flugplatz Niederstetten 1973 (that night picture I posted Sunday) is also good and we added some more stuff to make it more enjoyable.

Hello,

I have noticed some issues on the Marcos :
Somes holes in 3D models (between the door and the roof, both side)

A hole in 3D steering wheel, between center steel part and leather, only on the left side

With your new rims, they are gold in previews but silver ingame (maybe it's normal, I don't know) and front tires are through the road

Thank you for updating your cars !

EDIT : And I have noticed on your Vertigo, brake discs doesn't rotate properly, the same issue you had with rims on V202 but here only with brake discs and on the right side.

Issue: the Marcos does not cast any shadow, the Gillet does.

Original VW colors ?

no , they are fictional to my own likings ...
( any resemblance to real VW colors is not intentional and purely coincidence. I am not responsible for any copyright infringement VW might suggest I've made.

question for you 3d model guru's: @DaWallace @Shokeus and many many more (sorry i do no know your names):

how hard is it to turn something like this renault 19 into something akin to the Gillette or Marcos or Bmw?.

the reason i ask? well i am a total noooob when it comes to this kind of thing, however i am pretty experienced in the real life scenario and i can say say that working on car's that are worked on by somebody else normally causes problems. undoing someone else's work is both time consuming and frustrating (most of the time). Is it the same in this space??

how much work would it be to turn this low poly model into something worthy of 2023? is it even possible?

To much time and to much work. even the base model looks like that it is to much low poly. i'm not really good and fast in 3d modeling and i worked a lot of hours on the Mantis and the Vertigo. Would say a lot of weeks for now. 😅

btw. here is the first progress on the Ultima GTR

Thanks.
