I’m sorry, but isn’t this the “right” way to do this? The guy focuses on physics work, and uploads updates he does to the physics on his Patreon. He’s not re-hosting the mod or anything, he’s posting his own physics for a mod behind a paywall.

I get it’s frustrating that everything is turning into a moneymaking scheme with this game but he’s not taking others’ work so he can do with it what he wants.

No idea, I haven’t personally seen it yet but he (assuming VRDriving is a he) usually does pretty comprehensive rebuilds of the physics. He’s done rebuilds for the Carrera GT before so I’d figure he’ll just update his physics that he’s done before for the Carrera GT to fit that car.

I don't seem to have that mapping issue on the billboards though. My pic should roughly be the same, but to be sure I checked the whole track. It's OK everywhere on my system.

Edit: nvm, sussed it. There's a broken skin that was active by default. Deactivating it fixes the borkdom.

Sounds like a good enough reason not to start one..!

Simply because I love 1996 season and this is my contribution to community of AC.
No particular reason: I simply feel like doing these works, mainly for my pleasure and I'm happy they are appreciated.
Mod is from SimDream but you can use this skins also for 1997 season, billboards are almost the same.

I had this issue today and in the end it was the CSP v180p218 that caused the error for me. I changed it to the v180p346 and all was fine.

Does anyone know a way to stop the AI in the RSS formula 2000 from enjoying off road rather than the gray stuff? It falls off the track at so many places at so many tracks. For example here at Road Atlanta.

I don't have that car but I suggest having a look at the ai.ini and try and make some adjustments.
If they look like they are braking too late reduce the brake hint in amount of 0.07 at a time. Sometimes you may need to go as low as 0.72 but it will be trial and test. Also may sure the LOOKAHEAD is on 3.
The other way is reducing the AI ability on your grid setup. Making it lower will also make them brake earlier but it can make them very slow in the wet.
