a small summary about the video
compare the AI from new version of cps (preview 440 all the way to 622) against old versions (preview 361 and lower).

i use same settings, same cars, same track and same turn to show the difference between versions.
not sure whats the issue but it look like the AI doesnt stay inside the side lines .

i test many tracks/fast_lines/side_lines ... to be confidence is not cars ,settings, setups, tracks ,lines ... but a csp issue ignoring either side_lines or something similar.

the reason i choose the specific turn is because is an extreme example of the issue with new versions of csp , most turns dont behave that bad but with this turn i can demonstrate the issue pretty clear .

hopefully iija will take notice of the AI issues and fix it .

Deactivate the following option completely:

AI (new AI behaviour) / AI tweaks / New estimation of lateral grip: disabled

This project is our own interpretation of the Superute category, developed using the information available to us. Whether that was public documentation, YouTube onboards, race replays or anything else we could get our hands on.

The release features six utes - BT-50, Triton, D-Max, Hilux, Colorado and Ranger. All six share identical performance data, with their wheelbases being the only difference between models.

Across the six utes are three custom Lua-based dash designs, including automatic pit pages that switch back to the race display when leaving pit lane.

This release isn’t the end of the project either. We’ll continue working on liveries from previous seasons, with additional packs being added to our website as they’re completed. We’ll also keep looking for better Ute shells for future updates.

A massive thank you to everyone who has helped with the project, tested the utes and supported us throughout development.

Is this new AI behavior set as a default in the CSP?

Should not be. Creates a lot of issues.

Update v3 - Link Updated in the same free Patreon Post

  • Steering-aware fling: marbles always fly outward, and the outer wheels throw them further when cornering.
  • Higher marble cap: thanks to community feedback, deposits are now split across multiple meshes, so the limit no longer depends on pebble detail. Max marbles slider now goes up to 40000.
  • Steering fling share: new slider to mix the classic random fling with the steering-aware outward one (0 = classic only, 1 = steering only).
Awesome update, love the placement of the marbles. Replaced my old bodge of 4 versions running.

My only 'Would Like To Have' is different sizes for the marbles.
When I ran my 4 versions of the old app I would set different sizes for each mesh.
Any chance of allowing this, or maybe have a slider for distribution about the mean size input?

These are amazing fun. I can highly recommend Fonteny, the AI behave well at 20% aggression and get off the line pretty well too, even with 40 cars. Great with the Marbles app, you get fire, dust, smoke and marbles all at once. The undulations around Fonteny really come through well due the excellent physics these cars have and the twisty s-bends and grass verges add to the fun. 5*

V8 Superjutes and Fonteny are a match made in heaven. 16 Litres fuel per lap, 5 lap race should be just under and hour and will force a pit stop. 100% AI skill level is a good fight with default setup.

Hello everybody, could someone guide me to cars that ressemble/drives like the winner car of the 1950 Indianapolis 500? A car resembling the car in the linked picture; I think it's from Kurtis Kraft-Offenhauser, as I can see from my research.

Is anyone able to or know how to pull a clean AO of this Kunos BMW e46?

all i can get is lines through some of it when i generate through CM but there is a skin made with a perfect AO, i have no idea how they have done this i have tried taking a picture of the preview just before you click "calculate AO" but that doesn't work either so i am stumped.

There is this:

Yeah, I’ve already tried the Nuggies ones, but unfortunately, the AI is very weak.
I wonder why not many people are interested in TCR; there’s actually a lot to work with in RaceRoom.
It’s also a shame that no one has ever made a Civic FL5 or a Lynk & Co to round out the grid alongside the superb Fuzo cars.
I guess it's both the dwindling interest in TCR IRL (which I'm trying to revive) and, for the latter, the lack of proper 3D models being publicly uploaded/sold

The only good FL5 TCR mod out there is a tuning option in a paid GTA V mod!
