Hi everyone,
Just a few quick questions if you could help me out with I would greatly appreciate.

How do you prevent accidental shifting down to neutral? Was there a line of data I can add to the data files of the cars?
I thought I had done this previously but cannot remember how to do it.

And, how do you delete a best lap time from a particular track? I want to remove a fast lap time that I did a while back which I did with a modified F1 car and is unrealistic and it's bugging me.

Thanks for your help!
Data folder, drivetrain.ini :

[DOWNSHIFT_PROTECTION]
ACTIVE=1
DEBUG=0 ; adds a line in the log for every missed downshift
OVERREV=5000 ; How many RPM over the limiter the car is allowed to go
LOCK_N=1 ; <----------this line for neutral lock

it may only work with sequential shift cars, I don't remember off the top of my head. But that can be changed also in drivetrain.ini :

[GEARBOX]
CHANGE_UP_TIME=175 ; change up time in milliseconds
CHANGE_DN_TIME=190 ; change down time in milliseconds
AUTO_CUTOFF_TIME=180 ; Auto cutoff time for upshifts in milliseconds, 0 to disable
SUPPORTS_SHIFTER=0 ; 1=Car supports shifter, 0=car supports only paddles
VALID_SHIFT_RPM_WINDOW=700 ;range window additional to the precise rev matching rpm that permits gear engage.
CONTROLS_WINDOW_GAIN=0.4 ;multiplayer for gas,brake,clutch pedals that permits gear engage on different rev matching rpm. the lower the more difficult.
INERTIA=0.022 ; gearbox inertia. default values to 0.02 if not set

Supports shifter. 0 = sequential and 1 = manual transmission

I can no longer download from overtake. Even tried with all my adblockers turned off just opens a new tab with same page wtf

Excellent! Thanks for your help BigJim

quick CM bug check...

I can't seem to add geotags properly anymore.

Simple example, easy to see the problem - I search for the accurate geotag in CM's chromium GMaps plugin, and wait for the coordinates to show up. Like this:

Screenshot (104).webp

Then hit "OK".

The geotag should then update in CM. It is not doing this anymore. Instead, it still shows the original geotag that I'm trying to change (that is pretty close in this case, just picked a simple example). My geotag that I just assigned with the image above is now labeled as the "original" coordinates rather than the coordinates shown - seen when hovered over with the mouse:

Screenshot (103).webp

The "original values" match what I just searched for and tried to add, but those only show when hovered over. I can't change the Geo tags in this field at all. I can put Mallala Motorsport Park (which I've never driven) in the middle of the Arctic Ocean and the geo tags in CM will not change. Restarting CM and the PC did nothing.

Opening the ui_track.json of the track shows the correct values - or in this bug's case, the "original values" that I have. There are no other coordinates in the ui_track.json. I have absolutely no idea where CM is getting the other values from.

Didn't used to be this way, not sure I've ever seen the "Original Values" before either, not sure what their purpose is - there are plenty of mod tracks that have them set completely incorrectly (example: Nukedrop consistently placing Californian tracks in Surrey, UK).

Not subbed into CSP so not sure where to report this. Maybe the Discord...
