Does your mirror setting get saved, @Fanapryde ..?

Yep, just checked to be sure because I did not really change the position. Did that now, left the game, restarted and the mirror was like I had changed it.

Edit: @GzeroD I now installed Kunos Lambo to have a look. That steering wheel acts the same as in your version...!

Weird - the Kunos wheel is fine for me. I'll check again.
....
Now the Kunos one is doing the same. It definitely wasn't before, I tested it earlier. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
Are both cars writing to the same config somewhere perhaps?
Maybe my mirror position setting is getting shared between both cars?

[Masscot]

DP, sorry.

[xezez]

Tis cool, I had assumed that. But it does look like Kunos modeled an automatic as that is a foot rest!!!

Very strange, and I can't repeat that at my end. I'm not sure where the glitch could be. (like you asked) Anyone else getting this?

I can confirm the same thing with the steering wheel alignment. Hadn't noticed it before because I don't use VR, so the bottom spoke of the wheel isn't visible on screen, but I zoomed out and see the same thing.

And how is your KS Miura..?

[GzeroD]

I'm flummoxed.
But I often am. So can't promise anything. I'll let this sit in my grey matter until a solution pops out some time.

[GzeroD]

Ah, so the Lambo interior is from Kunos....

The whole donor is the Kunos model. But it is the first time I really used Blender to change a model. So please don't look too hard lest my mistakes start to stick out.

Aha! The KS Miura does the same thing, so it wasn't you after all. It was just some wonky Italian engineering by Kunos... or was it actually those crazy people at Lamborghini back in the 60's?

[xezez]

See post above ^

[Masscot]

I'd like someone who hasn't downloaded the Legion Miura to check the KS one. I'm convinced it used to be fine, lol.

I finally purchased AC on Steam as it was on sale and figured instead of going through this whole 583 page thread I would just ask for some mod recommendations. Any would certainly be appreciated!

Are you looking for modded cars and tracks or do you want to improve AC visually and the interface?

In addition to this forum and Racedepartment:

For modded cars please check this out: https://assettoland.wixsite.com/assettoland
For modded tracks (and racecars) look here:

These are a must before anything else imo.

I was just about to post same suggestions until I saw your post. Well here is few apps mods I recommend, but not necessarily needed.
Helicorsa by Akis
Sidekick by Topuz
EPIC Race by Marocco2 <- (Completely unnecessary, but it's my personal favorite. I spend hours making fitting playlists)

I could add more apps mods, but it's best to find some that suit you.

I haven't installed the Legion one and have just checked KS, the in-game wheel definitely rotates at a quicker rate.

What are we supposed to check?

[Fanapryde]

What are we supposed to check?

The steering wheel rotation being different from the rotation of your own wheel.
But @norms just confirmed that the Kunos model has the same issue.

I'm losing my mind. I'd have bet my mortgage that the KS Miura wheel was 1:1 when I checked it earlier.
How the hell have I never noticed this before?
And how come @GzeroD doesn't have the issue?
And how come it only affects the Miura out of all the KS cars (and my thousands of mod cars)?
Weird. Very weird.
Don't rule out Trump's involvement, and/or Brexit.

Hi everyone!
A little help, please?
I´m testing all my race cars by alphabetical order on two attempts at the Goodwood Hillclimb. I have the preview205 of the CSP installed and the latest SOl (latest alpha).
But I have an issue regarding driving singleseaters, the Simdream ones, it seems. When I choose cockpit view (I always do it) or the Tcam view everything turns a lot darker. Is there a fix for this?
Until now, this only happens with singleseaters and all I could check were the simdream ones...

The steering wheel rotation being different from the rotation of your own wheel.

well, I just checked, and the wheel rotation is perfectly fine, same as any other car in AC, the wheel rotation in the car matches my own wheel.

Thanks mate - try downloading Legion's SVR and check that too please. Seems like the issue might be system-specific, or CSP settings or whatnot.

Is there a similar type of config file out there for Highlands Long? Id like to drive it as a normal public road without all the trackside banners and barriers etc

[Josuracer]

OMG....I was Trying to modify the BMW Z4 stock.....And the files was erase, for My own error, , can anyone help me with the original folder And files...please???

[Masscot]

These two Masarati Ghibli Cup 1996 variants by Velo are worth a drive, but the Race version has a couple of issues: the driver sits lower, so his hands are too low on the steering wheel meaning he's holding thin air most of the time, and the sound and flames are broken (these two are easily fixed). The gearstick looks untextured on the Race version too.
The turbo gauge on both has the needle hub off-centre so it follows a weird arc, which is pretty shoddy.
Apart from those, worth a look.
Any quick way to raise the driver model on the Race version?
Velo, if you are watching this thread... some tweaks are needed.

I listed the objects to hide manually in 3DSimEd, I don't know if there's an easier way. Also, it's just a visual thing, I don't think you can remove collisions.
