Hi guys, random question. I've been playing around with the new RainFX a bit lately, and of course I know it's all still a work in progress but I'm finding that the grip levels even with the extended physics are still relatively high. Do any of you know if there is any plugin or way to change this yourself?

Reworked Toban Track (Author Terra21).
6 Layouts (Normal, Reverse, Mid Normal, Mid Reverse, Short Normal, Short Reverse).
GrassFX and Cams for all layouts.
Track needs better AI and have no collision (AI works on all layouts).
Have Fun.

Hello friends,someone knows how to make the fifth and sixth wheels work, it's that I made a mod with 6 wheels and the other 2 wheels don't work,

From Fecebook. This is not my mod. This is an update, and pretty good for a "Beta" version.

I already had this car, but no working wipers and no dash lights. Does this version has that ?

Nevermind, it's the same version I have.

Every stuffs from Our Racing Simulator are worthless anyway. That car is over 250 objects, no ao interior, physics took from 190e dtm kunos, the wing looks like v8 supercar's wing, no working wipers. That's all

Not argueing here. It's not great, but there are far worse mods available too...

Found the issue on the 370z config, these lines:

[SHADER_REPLACEMENT_...]
MATERIALS = EXT_lights_chrome
LAYER = 10

Are making the internal chrome transparent, since layer 10 doesn't exist. I'll ask to fix this-

Edit: apparently it's already fixed on github but CM keps downloading an old version with the wrong layer value. A fix is to go to Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\config\cars\loaded
Open the 370z config and manually change

LAYER=10

with

LAYER=5

This way it will work

Thanks a lot, we're back in business now.

Known issues: there are still 3 F1 safety cars parking which do not match into this era. I´ve been too lazy to remove them as well. Do so if you have the mood to.

It is a rather open ended question. I don't know what you've found already, and others may be thinking the same.

Assetto Corsa | RaceDepartment

Home - RaceSimStudio

assettoland (wixsite.com)

F3 Classic Tracks (sellfy.com)

ASR Formula

VRC Modding Team (vrc-modding-team.net)

Miscellaneous Minutiae (perendinator.blogspot.com)

If you've already visited the above sites, I would not have known.

Sorry. My answer wasn't intended to be condescending for the sake of it, but... so many people turn up here asking questions like this without having done any apparent work to find things for themselves. They don't even read through this thread, but instead, just want others to summarise everything in a single post so they don't have to make any effort.

If you do read through this thread, you will find many leads to sites full of AC mods. There's no general agreement on what's good and bad though, which is sometimes the very reason others aren't willing to make recommendations. It depends what kind of cars/tracks you're after for one thing.

EDIT: This should help you out quite a bit.

We got there in the end. Thank you.

I've still got very bright, almost white tarmac. Might you have a track adjustment in Sol that's making it darker for you?
(CSP 0.1.74 p3)
Be good to get the hot lap start point fixed too if possible.

Same here, and two static balloons together with the animated ones...

I was just scrolling the FIA list of the year 2000 and found the most unluckiest diablo (or Lamborghini in general) ever!

The KRT's 2000 Lamborghini Diablo GT: Raced in the FIA GT Championship from 2000 - 2002 and the reason why I say "unluckiest" is because the car either crashed, has gearbox issues or finished poorly.

The best it did was 19th at Nürburgring in 2001, sad to see this car fail, it almost reminds me of the Lamborghini QVX.

I might make a skin for this car with the diablo GTR.

Here's more info about its races:

have you seen on his video the car has not the same material, better IV mapping... he has keep the good version for himself and sent the bad version for us !!!
That would be very odd. Are you sure? I can't imagine why any modder would want to deliberately bork their releases.
Could you please grab some stills from the video clearly showing this?

Edit: I just rewatched the video and it looks exactly like the car he released, complete with wine-gum rear light lenses.

Hi guys, I want to present you the track:
Varano, Autodromo Riccardo Paletti, Italy. 2350m

V1.1
Download

It's not my creation, I found it online and I tried to add and update few key things. Bear in mind this is my very first attempt to mod AC track/AI Line.
The credits go to the original creator, which is apparently unknown; maybe OfficineMeccanicheVirtuali, the guys who were working on it in 2015, with their project never published, I don't know.

Updates:
V1.1
— fixed pitboxes, now aligned with the track

V1.0
— fixed Hotlap start position on the track and corrected "AC_HOTLAP_START_0" text into the track object.
— made invisible 2 tree lines with a bad white-ish not working transparency and a background panorama not matching the far background view.
— created AI fast lane & pit lane.
— created track right and left lines with AI Line Helper.
— updated track outline using Track Previews 3.0 style.
— added background loading screen for Content Manager

AI line should be fine. I tried several different cars, from Griip to GTE-GT3 cars and they drive decently. Maybe they could drive faster, I don't know.
Tell me if there are things not working correctly about the AI line. Let's hope it's a good first attempt. :D

Enjoy this nice Italian track!

My inspiration came from this video by the Italian driver Alberto Naska!
Check out this cool battle with Formula Predator:

Does anyone still have a working link of this track?

For soo long I saw Assetto Corsa as an inaccessible game that didn't work for controller users like myself. I played the PS4 version and it was utter garbage. I did not enjoy the experience and several cars were impossible for me to drive. However I had reason to believe that the console version was poorly optimised and wanted to give the PC version a crack. I bought the game with all the DLC and went out in the MC12 GT1 at Spa to see how it felt. I barely completed my outlap before going back into the options screen to adjust the controller settings. The car had quite a lot of oversteer and I couldn't catch a slide, so I took a look at the steering sensitivity settings and discovered that it was too low. Not only that but the deadzone was at 0. After increasing both parameters, I went out again in the Gran Turismo S GT4 and it felt way better. No longer does the game feel inaccessible. I can enjoy a huge world of tracks and cars that I would not be able to experience anywhere else. With GT7 being soo far away, it's a great distraction and I'm sure to have a lot of fun. I've already downloaded quite a few, but my favourite soo far (I guess unsurprisingly) is the V8 Supercar Mod. All I have to do now is get the other tracks - I already have Sandown and Queensland Raceway and they're pretty good. The problem with the Sandown mod is the width of the main straight, but apart from that, it's the most faithful recreation I've seen. This game will keep me entertained for a long time.

Trying to build up my Group C collection. Are there any links in particular available that you guys know of for a decent set? I know kunos obviously had a couple with the game, Legion released two, but, don't know where to look for more.

It’s the gift that keeps giving.
