Thanks to Schmawlik regarding LUA code to move the original display and the steering wheels nodes, as the new one it's more up than the old.

It's not that great quality, i never made a steering wheel from WEC with these light emissive buttons, and there were 2 different wheel buttons for this one and it was quite to texture, apart that this one has 15 LEDS while the Cosworth MK3 has 10. Feel free to edit the textures, the shaders and the code as you want.

New V1.1 version to fix the slip tyres LEDS. I'm still seeing what's the issue with the standard physics. At the moment this only work with csp physics. Sorry.

i don't know why i have "Error 0x8000FFFF"...is it just my problem?

It seems so. But Error "Error 0x8000FFFF" means nothing. Happens when, how, doing what, with which car, in which session, which CSP, wich CM, which version of AC and so on... Did you tried remove the whole track and reinstall? Tried a different car?

Sometimes changing an ugly tree can be as simple as changing the assigned texture which can easily be done via a track skin. In my experience, this typically works better if the trees are Y-trees and not X-trees. When changing a texture, I always have issues with getting the tree trunks to line up right with X-trees and I end up with double trunks. For whatever reason, I don't have a big an issue with that on Y-trees.

As for changing the actual tree model, I can't help you with that. You'll need help from one of the track making experts and i'm not one of them.

Think the easiest method would be to delete the comic book trees near the track or move them further away. But that’s also counting for the ribbon of 2D crowds near the track or those C-3PO starwars shaped 3D men in the startline/pits.

Thanks guys. Took care of the ugly tree. It's the first time I've touched track editing/making since I dropped out and off the face of GTPlanet when my health took a turn (edit, or wait, is it? no it's not. I edited Mont Juicy Juice a few months back). Still dealing with memory issues, that's not going away. (Anyone tried Prevagen?)

Anyway, took care of the ugly tree, it was on the vintage mexico track(s) that have '4th' in the kn5 file name. It was a bright green ugly tree. If you've seen it you prolly know what I'm talking about.

I feel like dummy, but anyway, if anyone is interested in the TED-EDiTS (having typed that in a while) skin, lemme know and I'll post it. Nothing earth shattering.

EDIT: Admin, sorry for my creatively typed expletive. Curious if that ding is automatic by the system or is someone actually looking out for that stuff? Either way, my apologies; it wasn't necessary, I should have kept it clean.

I have this problem after the download, I try to open the file but i can't because there is this error

One more update to a Reboot Team track for today - Zolder v. 1.3, with quite an extensive changelog. I hope that z-fighting people were compaining about was mostly fixed :)

Changelog:
  • modified some meshes to reduce z-fighting
  • modified some camera FOV settings in some camera sets to reduce z-fighting
  • changed marbles visuals to make them look better
  • fixed asphalt UV mapping in some places
  • reworked fences along the track (added fence detail meshes, reworked texture)
  • tweaks to windmills (added blinking lights, changed timing to desync them)
  • reworked starting lights to proper vanilla compatible version
  • added racing flags functionality to some lights along the track
  • fixed some meshes which were one sided and supposed to be two sided
  • changed visuals of power cables
  • fixed long grass in place above the tunnel
  • changed some values of grass to make it look better
  • added proper physical mesh to the mod
  • redefined surface properties of some surfaces
  • fixed global sponsor texture assignment to some objects
  • fixed barrier color and UV mapping in pit zone
  • fixed broken UV mapping on some advertisement objects
  • added digital clock to the start/finish gantry
  • added colidable cones to some places along the track
  • fixed "telegraph lines" on trees and treewalls
  • added new solar panel textures
  • updated loading screen screenshots

For me, the big screens stay black. Can someone check this to see if the error is not at my end. Or is this intentional?

the package is a 7zip file, you need latest version of Winrar (paid) or 7zip (free) to unpack it. Then you need to move the folder "sx_lemans" to the right AC folder which is "tracks".

I solved it, I don't know why but the file gave me a damaged one

Hi, sorry to reply waaaaaay tardily, but I've a problem with this very beautiful preview. When I want to update my previews, it does that... I installed the map in the tracks AND the showrooms folder and your preset, I don't understand why it does not working. Do you have any idea ? Thanks !

Anyone else have an issue with the vrc tourers locking the rear wheels every time you change up a gear?, i have only tried the peugeot and the vectra and they both do it including the non csp version. All other car's are normal

i have been using these car's on and off for ages and they were fine this is only recently this started happening.

If you are talking about Mexico 67 track then get the Redux (at Overtake) version, the other ‘67 versions ( including Herman whatever name) are terrible conversions.

I can't find that version for some reason. Found literally 30 versions but can't find our guy Zwiss's version. Can you link me, my friend?

Jacques Laffite 1983 Australia series Ralt RT4 skin, adapted to the Legion Ralt RT3.
The real car resides in NZ now in the Gitanes livery and races in historic races.

Edit updated the zip file to give the car black rims like the real photo

I am glad you like them, as time permits, I'll add some more. I just hope my friend comes through with a Ralt RT4 3d model but until then, the RT3 is as close as I can get. I'll get to drive it sometime too, now that I cleaned up my mancave and found the simrig under the mess.

They are all fwd, so if the rear wheels are locking up I would guess you assigned the handbrake to the gear up button?
 
Hello everyone! I've been having the weirdest issue, I'm really curious if this is known or anyone has already had it.

To give a bit of context, I was trying out VR and messed with a lot of settings. Also, I very rarely play single player and may have never noticed this issue.

Now, the issue: I first noticed this on this track https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/braga.68831/ : What happens is, I try to load this track on single player, with a kunos car, and when it reaches Miscellaneous Preparations - Replays my whole PC bogs down and completely freezes, to the point of me having to force restart it everytime. After some tries, I saw that what was happening is the game eats both all my RAM and VRAM, all 32GB and 8GB of it respectively. On the rare occasions that it goes through without freezing, CM gives an error due to "Memory Allocation".

I remember entering a server with friends in the past with this track and didn't have this issue whatsoever, it ran flawlessly. It seems my game eats more RAM on single player than on multiplayer (which is weird to me) but on this specific track it completely kills my PC.

Something I've also notice, if I turn down some replay quality settings, it goes through (still eating RAM like crazy).

I'm sensing I may have broken something while trying VR, it came to the point where CM would launch the original AC launcher with that awesome intro.

I'm lost. Does anyone have any clue? Already tried removing both CSP and Pure and install again, still happens.
