has someone here a completly transparent numberplate kit? some cars i use have plates but they cover the skin and i wanna hide them, so i only see the skin and no plates

you can use a transparant dds , copy it in the skin folder and rename to have the name of the plate (usually Plate_D.dds, but you can find the name via CM Showroom)

Anyone knows good group b rally cars mods? Most of the ones I’ve tried have bad interiors or physics.

It's strange that sometimes the cars behave differently in the season mode. We noticed that when we tested SimDream 80's cars at vintage Zandvoort (Sandev). They work remotely ok in the quickrace mode but in the season it's a mayhem. There are some strange things about AC that never cease to amaze me.

Yeah, there are many variables in play with track ai lines, quality of modded cars, and CM/CSP settings.

I no longer do championship seasons due to large number of cars installed and lack of time. I just create quick races base on what excites me on the day. And of course a lot of time spent downloading and testing new cars and tracks.

Actually i want to keep AC1 up to date graphics and weather wise. As long as it seems there is no free modding in AC EVO, AC1 will have a steady future with all its existing mods. There is still a big room for new features and improvements in Pure, so i have enough ideas and I will continuously deliver new things.

I'm glad to know we'll keep getting updates for pure for now, i as many will probably stick to AC1, i think the good stuff for ACE will come when they stop officially supporting the game, just like with the first one

Nothing really. The Spa 1934 & 66 track was an edited version of the original tracks done by THRacing. When I updated the original Spa 1966 and 1938 tracks, I figured I would apply my updates to their version as well in case they wanted to use my changes.

What do you mean with transparency? And please use the Pure Discord. Maybe its all about your settings then...

I wanted to race some races of the 1991 F1 season lately and wondered whether it is possible to recreate prequalifying, or at least have more cars do qualifying than can start the race. Has anybody ever tried to do that?

It was possible in rfactor where you could kick AI cars from the event prior to the race start, only fun being 34 cars trying to qualify, but I don't think that is possible with AC.

Other option is to use this app and run the qualifying, use those results and then run the race seperate - https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/cmpreset-generator.70577/

Has anyone ever had window issues with content manager, and how to fix? I've tried looking in the settings, and have also tried an uninstall/reinstall of Content Manager.

Essentially, I have a TV hooked up by HDMI, and a not gaming monitor hooked up to the same PC - and if I maximise Content Manager on the monitor, it over fills the screen (cannot select the toolbars up the top), and if I maximise on the TV, I cannot select everything in CM (eg, I can't change a cars name). If I use Content Manager on the monitor, but not maximised, I can't use it at all (things aren't selectable), and if I use on the TV not maximised, things tend to work a bit better, but I have to be super, super precise when clicking things (and at times have to click not even on what I'm trying to click on, to click on something).

Will need to take a look at these, as I don’t think I have yet. However, the two things that confuse me about this, is for Panel #2 (the monitor), I’ve had this used as a panel since I got the computer (with a larger monitor - not a TV - originally set as Panel#1), and also that the only program that seems to be affected by this issue, is Content Manager. All other games work fine. Internet browsers work fine. Office applications work fine, etc. Just Content Manager. Will see if I can take screen grabs next time I’m sitting at it

I have taken a look at the basic “display” settings in Windows, and it’s all set to “recommended”. Have also been having another issue with overheating since connecting the TV as a panel, so assume it’s related to this (have tried power settings being set to low, except when gaming. Interestingly it doesn’t overheat while gaming.. yet)

@kakauiyt question, all these "reworked" mods suddenly appeared from race project, are you somehow involved in these as well? Speaking about the 2013 in particular, I am not sure which one is the most accurate one or did they just stole someone´s work for profit?

993 GT2 is one of the most expensive Porsches in the market. One was just sold for 2.4 million dollars. LOL. As you know me I race F1 cars 99% of the time but we have a few GT2's on AC.

When I was a kid in the 90's the poster of this car was on my wall. I can never afford any kind of 993 as they're so expensive now but I can drive it on AC. What is the best 993 GT2 version on AC, in your opinion?

Nice. However that car has clear lenses and the genuine CS always had oranges. That sticks out to a purist like a sore thumb. But hey, those are easy to change.

I'm not involved at all with the race project work. The only participation I did was fixing some faults of his BMW Sauber 2008 (3D wise).

The 2013 rework he has done apparently is based on formula opponent 2013. For the rest I don't know, I'm already busy with my own projects to look at what others do
