Since I can't get a picture on the screen, I can't do what you suggest. I could do the uninstall part using my old video card, but when I put the new one in, I don't even see the bios info screen before windows begins to boot. Funny thing is, the system does boot up because I hear the startup sound when windows loads, but no picture. I even tried all four ports on the card hoping the one I was using was bad, but no luck.before change it, try to do a clean uninstall OF ALL THE DRIVERS in safe mode with the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), then, reinstall the latest (or the one that were stable and see if the GPU come back to life. If not, you have to say goodbye to it probably. For sure AMD and NVIDIA have their own pro and cons, so is not a easy choice if not defined only by the budget
