You need CSP latest Version

Change Logs
1. Door sill Mapping is Fixed. It has Carbon Textures now.
2. Engine Damage issue is Fixed.
3. Right Door Speaker Texture is fixed.
4. Adding G-Force Meter.
5. Interior Lights are little bit bright
6. Tyre Treads meshes are fixed. its surfaces are smoother.

Remain Works
1. Working Safety belt
2. More Skins
3. Proper Driver's animation

Internal AND external glass casts shadows, so to let daylight into the cabin both will need adjusting in CM Showroom to remove the 'cast shadows' flag and update the kn5.
Note: windscreen and side windows are all separate, so six processes need doing (internal and external for all three windows)

Try this. Not ideal by any means, but better. The shifting animation is a far tougher nut to crack.
Remove txt blah blah and place blah blah etc.

The shifting animation is a far tougher nut to crack.
On that note, someone was very kind to pass on a link to this blog, this guy has a ton of modding info.


I found this one was a very quick and simple way of doing the shift animation that I was struggling to get to work:

There's a ton of other stuff on there should anyone wish to browse it and pick up anything.

Heyho, does anybody know if it is possible to add Best Lap Time and Last Lap Time to my digital Track display via simple LUA Lines?

if it's your car's time that you want to display, you should be able to get it using ac.getCar(0).previousLapTimeMs and ac.getCar(0).bestLapTimeMs ? (CSP 0.3.0.140)

I know, but, this is worse, total lack of any self respect from the devs and thats in a world of devs with no self respect. To have replays, in 2025 locked at 30fps, and even then they have terrible pop i, its like Ian Bell has dumped this turd to troll everyone whilst he runs off even richer.....
Its sad (in context of sim racing) that nothing seems to be moving forwards, just stuck in this world where nothing can feel anywhere near as good to me as AC can.

Yeah the first mistake for many was to believe him. People were glazing him last year when he shat on Forza Motorsport 2023 and guess what ? That game, as awful as it might be (I'll die on that hill and say it's actually not that bad), is still a better, finished product than this Project Motor Cars Racing Unleashed piece of **** lol

I'm just waiting for someone to upload some cars to bring those over here. That's literally the only purpose of that game.

The LastLap thing shows something. But I don't understand what it is. Best Lap seems to be something else or I'm not enough of a hackerman^^

Corrected the sample length and pitch at lower RPMs along with fixing coasting pitch at lower RPMs due to it originally being a few notches too high:

Not sure why Youtube keeps lowering the quality of my videos but they are much higher quality before being uploaded.

Tbh, the only chance any new racing sim could gain traction is offering the same level of modability and customizability as AC. Offering the same curated car list and make them drive the same Nordschleife for the 3457824598 time doesn't cut it anymore.
 
Out of the blue Pure 0.2.7 now looks really bad, with washed out colors, no visible sun rays on a sunny day, no sunlight inside the car, and when I try to fix the lighting and colors, it ends up looking either too bright or too dark for my taste. I can’t find the exact right settings.
And if that wasn’t enough, Planner changes the date and time however it wants, regardless of whether I set specific dates and times or not.
This is not meant to be a rant, but I’m going to try reinstalling Pure. And if it stays like this, I’m even thinking about going back to Sol.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Blew my mind how Ian was running his mouth off on Twitter beforehand, raving about the AI was now the best ever in any sim, miles better than the preview edition they'd sent to everyone with a Youtube channel, and then release it (ver 1.5.0????) with no AI improvement. 🤦‍♂️

HD versions of the Gillet, Morgan, Mosler, Marcos, TVR would be cool to see. Oh and the 1999 Panoz LMP / Acura LMDh.

Stoffel, I loaded up PCars2 for a few blasts before PMR came out, and i was struck by how incredible it still looks and the track details in particular, question is why has no PCars tracks been converted but the cars have? Is it impossible?
I'd like even some of the track objects, even if not full tracks.....
 
Everything was nice and smooth on PMR's road to success right until they started showing lots of modern cars in previews few months before release, as SimRacing 604 confirms in his review the GT1s and 2K protos feel great.
They just rushed everything else to grab some Xmas LMU money, which is sad.

Proper AI that works on all the promised car classes is some kind of dream that takes a lot of muscle and time to iron out, I wouldn't expect miracles on that front, at least not now.

Other sims like ACC grew a lot after release, it can happen again. or not.

Ya gotta ask Masscot, I think he and the RT team got a couple of tracks converted (Bannochbrae and California Highway). Also LuisB converted Sakitto

Titles like Rennsport and PMR don't make any sense at all. Unfinished products that don't drive like the good old estabilished sims. I have to say that I haven't driven either one but I've seen the reviews.

LMU and AC Rally show a lot of promise though. But even they are unfinished in many ways (of course ACR being a early access). I don't think it's even smart to release unfinished produts business wise, as the Youtube sim racer guys like GamerMuscle, Jimmy Broadbent and Jardier review these titles right away. People watch those videos and those will affect the sales a LOT.

They say EVO 0.4 has way better physics and driving. Hopefully it'll be even half as good as AC1, and hopefully they do something to the horrible AI.
