Thanks for your work on this. However, for me at least, one of my biggest issues with this mod was the long upshift times. I found that by disabling AUTO_CUTOFF_TIME and reducing both the upshift and downshift times, this mod becomes much more engaging to drive.
Interestingly, this made me realize I needed to make a similar change to Opperslang's LFA.

Also, the sounds have issues with the reverb settings; the reverb effect seems to become activated very suddenly and too loudly. In addition, this mod still sounds like it uses a V10. : )

Overall, it's nice to see this car in AC already, and in quite a drivable form.
Hi. Well This car does not have sequential GT3 gearbox, why should it have super fast upshifts? It's a lfa successor so expect similar gearbox behaviour just slightly faster. Most likely sound comes from lfa V10. So i recommend changing it to kunos Maserati Alfieri.

So I'm really doing a mod for a brainrot series? What next? Convert the tung tung sahur mobile?

Wasn't the LFA known for very quick shifts, hence the digital rpm gauge designed to keep up with it? And maybe the roadgoing GR GT wouldn't have racecar shifting, but.. faster than it the mod is set to, I'd think..? And why wouldn't a modern sequential supercar gearbox have very quick shifts?

I struggled to find videos that show the GT in action with audible gear changes, but so far this was the best one I found, particularly around the 1:20 mark.

As for V8 sounds, I'll try your suggestion with the Alfa. Thanks again.

EDIT: From the Kunos options, the Corvette works pretty well. And it solves the jarring reverb issue too. : )

IIRC the GR GT road car has a conventional automatic...now modern one shifts pretty fast, but not dual clutch fast...

LFA runs on automated manual(think BMW SMG or Ferrari F1). They can shift pretty fast, but most road going ones are not really that good. And their reason for the digital rev counter is because they said the engine can rev faster than analog gauges can handle. Which is kinda BS but maybe back in the early 2000s it might be true. But considering how many motorcycles back then still have analog tach....

Yes lfa had quick shifts by automatic gearbox standarts 150ms. Removing cutoff is arcade style solution. Unfortunately I'm not at this level yet to measure shifts time by sound in video. Kunos Corvette has atmo V8, I recommend to find one with Biturbo configuration.

Are refracting lights already been done on this car? I could make them myself but they always come out badly 👀😂

Much better coversion but I dont know which physic better and it is encrypted if it matters to you.

No, I have changed the car position since then.
But here's the preset anyway:

CM Shwroom Preset https://acstuff.club/s/zNgt

You'll need Ult. Studio Grey which is available somewhere in this very thread

That's the one. Thank you.
Any chance you could dig in and send me the .cmpreset file, and not the link?
As I said, AC/CM/CSP on Linux chokes on the link. It can't fire the deeplink to CM through Wine.
It'll be in C:/users<your_username>/local/AcTools Content Manager/Presets/Custom Previews/*.cmpreset
Pretty-please? :)

@JK1977 have you ever considered making your own 3d model from ground up? your mods is very great ngl, but i think you can be greater like rss, vrc, or urd
I ve been looking for team members who can do everything exept 3D and uv map , which I mastered .. I believe , but not possible to find ...

Toyota was updated with few fixes for shift times, and steer animation clipping. Please try redownloading.

Hi.
New update for Toyotas latest v8 supercar available here.
Car is fast, but heavy so brake management needs to be spot on.

Great car. Glad to be able to drive it. Thanks for doing the real fizix. The SFX suggestion is 10x better as well. Salud!

Edit: Just going on that video, @PGMurphy's suggestion is pretty damn close. Quite surprised at the Toyota's sound. That's a GT300 wuff-wuff right there.

Edit again, fwiw:
"The GR GT’s 4.0‑liter twin‑turbo V8 is tuned for a very “clean” exhaust note, with carefully shaped manifolds and exhaust routing that reduces the deep “thud‑thud” of big turbos and instead highlights the V8 cadence.
Journalists and fans have noted that the sound at Goodwood feels almost naturally aspirated in character because the turbos are tucked between the cylinder banks and the exhaust system is voiced for high‑pitch, linear tone rather than a low‑pitch turbo rumble, which is why it can easily fool the ear into thinking it’s an NA V8.
So: yes, the Goodwood car was a real, running prototype with the full GR GT V8‑hybrid powertrain; its sound is intentionally sculpted to feel like a race‑bred NA‑style V8, even though it’s a twin‑turbo setup."

Great job, really! Thank you! But isn’t there anything that can be done so that the car, when viewed from a distance, becomes an indistinct black shape?
So unfortunately i was not able to trigger this lod problem. This probably means two things: Your model version does not have lods or some csp lod settings are messed up.
Here is distant picture, but there is still some car details and textures visible.

I have a question regarding the WSC Legends WSC60 Ferrari 365 P2 Drogo. In the skins folder there are 5 PSD files. Are they needed in the folder, or can the be removed and saved in a separate folder?

Interesting insights, for sure. I too find that there is a prominent NA quality to the sound. Indeed, I did try using the flat-plane, twin-turbo V8 from the C8 ZR-1, but it just doesn't match the Toyota's more traditional V8 boom (and the ZR-1 mod sounds were just rather dull). I also did try an LT1-derived V8 from an Ultima mod I have, which was kind of cool, but just TOO raw sounding. But your GT300 reference gives me an idea to look among the ranks there. If nothing else, though, the Kunos road Corvette feels like a pretty good fallback.
I did just see a YT short vid with the GR GT last night.. I'll try to glean more from it!

Many many thanks mate

Feels good. Before this update, I had actually added some milliseconds back to the cutoff--I made all three values the same: 140 ms for upshifts, downshifts and cutoff--but I like yours.

I'm still playing with sounds, heh! My latest try was a Lexus LC500h GT300; I should be a good match, in theory, but I might try removing the gravel pings that you wouldn't really get from a road car with its sound insulation.

EDIT: I think we have a sound winner: the AMG GT-S from MNBA. A very similar engine design (apart from the GR's hybrid system, obviously) from a similar class of car. And the engine notes are more similar than I expected. I'm sticking with this.

And dude, I'm liking the whole car more every time I get in.. a great project for a fascinating car.

BLACKBOLT's Lightweight Release: Lotus Exige V6 Cup & Dallara Stradale

I'm back to AC modding! I noticed a lack of high-quality versions for a couple of my favorite cars, so I decided to make them myself and share them with the community. No locked-down nonsense, just good cars to drive.

What's inside:
  • Lotus Exige V6 Cup: The original Kunos model is legendary but visually dated. I updated the interior with proper AO maps and a working digital dash using newer-gen models (AC Evo) to bring it up to modern CSP standards.
  • Dallara Stradale (Standard + Barchetta): The older mods for this forgotten gem had terrible interiors with holes and missing meshes. I rebuilt it with a proper, high-quality 3D model so you can actually enjoy the cockpit view.
Check the link below for all the features, physics details, and the download link. Have fun out there!

Got sidetracked from AIW to do some skins for all the dusty tracks, for the WSC Porsche 910-6. So, 2 Porsche graphic styles, each with a sponsor-version and a no-sponsor version. Plus, a mildy road-grimed version and a clean version for each. Ends up being 32 skins total. (Toss the ones you don't want!) (versions for the 910-8 coming soon)

Absolutely have to agree about the SFX. Good find!

Nice pick for sound, latest Mercedes engines are known for deep rumbling.
Toyota did nice car, when we have more info like 0-100 time and some lap times it will be improved further.
Btw small secret, GT3 version is coming to.

Nice.. I figured you'd get the GT3 going too.. this is based on the FSR mod, probably? It's quite a good base, I think.

The same here, mate. I´m using your preset.

Why this car has the sound of the old bmw M4 GT4 from guerilla and physiks from another gt4 from guerrilla ....
