A real gem of a page, by the way, even though most cars have the steering wheel on the wrong side... 😜

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for the fantastic work you do.
I would like to join you to thank aussieguy to keep living that Aussie Big Bangers and ATCC Cars 1960s to 1985 site. It has a lot of good old touring cars.

And yes for us in Europe maybe the wheel is on the worng side, but for example for Ken134 (who come from UK) it is on the good side. :D

The only reason I couldn't linked it to Ken134, because he searched for special saloon cars, so mostly modified touring cars. And in aussieguy site there is mostly touring cars (closer for production cars) from 60's and 70's. But yeah, those cars are so rare in racing games, so we are very glad that those community make and release unique cars from month to month.

Would love to see some Special saloons from the 70s in AC.
Two cars come in my mind.

I think I saw a Ford Anglia 105E in a black version, but maybe that was a "tuned" road version.
But I didn't found it now.

But I found an interesting YT channel. With some modified cars, like special saloons. First I saw a Ford Anglia 100E ,which i never saw in Assetto, then an old Austin, and here is some Ford modified race cars mixed with well know Gr5 cars.
But sadly none of these is available for download...:(

The other two cars (which is looks like special saloons) was made by Legion. A Hillman Imp, and a Mini (with Judd V8 engine :D )

Hi. This is probably, a joke, but i will answer anyways. All models in 3d soft have sizes which corresponds to real measurements. He just says, that model in blender has same size as real car, when its measured in 3d soft.
The most obvious thing to give away wrong model size is wheel base. if realistic wheel base size dont fit model, thats a sign scale is off.
and how is it "measured" in 3d soft huh?? The only true value for us is how it looks in Assetto Corsa , right?
And to me it looks too small... If for some it looks true to life on a monitor , because a 3d software tells them it is correct , fine by me! But I will stick to the mods that do not have children as driver models :)

EDIT: come to think of there are many which have this issue , so a great feature or app in AC would be to have a world scale slider (like there is one in Automobilista2)

Blender & most 3D softwares have an ruler you can use that measure stuff in real length. You can also use it to literally type in width, height of say an square box and it will automatically adjust the 3D model to be of the right size. Does not work as well on already made models but works great on boxes if you need to actually check if the size of stuff is accurate or not.

uhuh, I know.... I think you are missing the point: none of that matters if it looks too small in-game (in VR, on a monitor it most prob always look too small unless you have a +180inch monitor)

hmm. everything in ac is already scaled to proper size, because tracks are laser scanned. So point is if car is correct size in 3d soft it is correct size in game. Im not talking about any specific mod, im talking about process in general.

Absolutely not.

I guess if you only do laps all alone it isnt that important, but still correct sizing is important as to what space the car occupy on the track.

Also the M1 isnt a big car IRL

Yes. I have the Legion cars. Somebody did an Austin A35 but not downloadable

Sorry to intervene, but I'm sorry to see your dissatisfaction which I consider useless because there are at least 2 other versions of the M1 giants in addition to the one you're talking about which, by the way, you can very well not update and keep it giant. 😉

look at the proportions of the giant m1 compared to other m1:

Well thats very interesting on Assetto Corsa on PC.

BTCC enquiry

Could someone please recommend or point me towards a decent pack of 90's BTCC cars please, paid or free. Ideally with quality interiors too as I race in VR :)

Thank you very much

Finally, what the Mirage GR8 (ReWork) versions looked like, using another 3d model.
The updates this time were handled by "Aleroy", as well as small adjustments to the Mirage M9 and M10 versions.
As soon as the BoP for the 1977/1978/1979 models is finished, they will be shared (hopefully until the Le Mans race, at least)
Hi, where could I find these skins please ? Thx
