I had the same problem, no matter what, the weather seemed to be thunderstorms. I switched to using Pure Planners Live weather feature instead - seems to work perfectly.

Yes, if you press Pure Live in a in-game session it will show the correct weather of that said track in a said moment, but I always want to previsualize the weather conditions in CM before jumping in a race session. Now I think I found the reason why it was not giving accurate data, you have to press the 3-dot button at the left of the temperature bar with real conditions activated and disable the "local weather" option. I have never turned that thing on so once again it must be one of those CSP shenanigans...

For the CM weather option openweathermap is used but if there are too many request it does not deliver any data then and jumps to weather type 0 which is light thunderstorm:

For Pure i pay a decent service at openweathermap.org to have enough requests for Pure users.
But you can also use your own account in openweathermap.org and make yourself an app api key and put this in Pure Planner.

You can actually use also historic weather then. You will see another tab in Pure "database" then.


So i guess the free account of Ilja is just overloaded and does not deliver data anymore

Extension Update
Added Japanese license plate to the front and rear.
Added an inside window.
Added CSP wipers.
The position of the exhaust pipe has been moved to the left.
Hid ornaments.

Extension Update v2.0
Replaced windows and exterior parts with CSP shaders.
Fixed an issue where the side mirrors were inverted using REAL_MIRROR.
Replaced lights.ini with data_override. The values in lights.ini were based on kunos AE86.
Updated the gauge lights using Multichannel emissives.
Fixed a shadow issue. (This was caused by CSP overriding body_shadow.png.)
Updated Ambient Shadow in the Content Manager.
Updated the window textures.
Updated the skin.ini.
Replaced driver model.
Replaced with new wheels because the rear brake calipers were protruding beyond the wheel rims. (Work Meister S1 3P Wheel, LOOP5)

The big mistake is that the pit lane area extends onto the race track. At this point, cars will slow down or get fined.

That's the original, I'll check that about the pit lane. I thought it might overlap since the one above is called 1road. I'll see how I can fix it. Thank you very much.

recently I have a lot of fun with the BTCC series of the 90s and espeically with the BMW. do you maybe know where I find the best version of the BMW 320i, because my version seems to be unfinished, especially with the interior.

VRC released their version couple of months ago. There is also the F302(?) one that is an port of the Raceroom car, Then you have the FSR car which is just the PM3DM car with interior made by Cyril Cherry and stolen and ported back to AC lol.

You're welcome. So the other ones did show an update? The only one I've done so far is the BMW from that first link.

All the cars in the Phase 2 pack updated, so I think that's the Ford, Aston, McLaren, Porsche, Ferrari and BMW. Supposedly the Lexus is getting an update too so I would hopefully assume the rest of the Phase 1 cars get touched up too. If anybody has driven the RSS Porsche on release and could compare it to the most recent version, I'd be interested to hear thoughts on how that one changed, if the physics even feel much different at all.

Can"t you just log on with your email and see all your purchased content? I think both VRC and RSS has that option.

For anyone with that "oil spill" look at the new Monaco (2026 layout), you can try adding the below text to you track ext_config file. Not sure if it'll work for anyone else, but it did for me. Looks like the transparency for the "groove01" material in the 2026 layout was set to no (vs 2019 set to yes).

Yes - I managed to grab newer versions all 6 cars after trawling through my invoices (and I think a couple of the single seaters etc. that I've bought over the years may also have updates when I find the time to go through those too!)

looking for help, I try to change some properties for materials on this z8, I think the body material (named Skin_Base) and internal metal parts (named material: int_paint) has correct settings and names,
but when I try to change in CM Showroom nothing happends, instead, I have other car (pictured) and this materials could be paintable (no CSP extension for coloring materials), what could be wrong?

Update dropping this weekend for this Mod Pack Fix to collider.ini and aerodynamics. To fix the issue with cars bottoming out and issues riding curbs. Possibly add early Beta of the 2000 Mercedes CLK DTM (C208)

Furthermore, a little work on the 2007 Audi A4 DTM (R13). Older model from GTR2. I did some scaling work on the model and physics update. A lot of work to be done on this mod.

Hi,

does anybody know a good mod for the Porsche 911 S/T (the new version). Also the best Rally driver in Germany Walter Röhrl likes the car and describe it as a perfect feeling road sportscar.

I know the Touring model is similar, but the real S/T has a shorter gear ratio and—most importantly—no rear-wheel steering.
The existing mods are terrible.

Hi, after a while, I finally managed to fix the problem of incorrect preview generation that was happening to me with many mods. The solution is to delete the Assettocorsa "cache" folder. Thanks for the support.

I do this regualrly with stuff like MSFS, but never knew where to find the cache in AC, could you advise? I also am so worried about deleting stuff i shouldn't in this complex web of a game with all its add ons and mods etc etc...

The folder is the one highlighted. Nothing happens for CM settings or other. To be safe, rename it to cache_old.

I have the same fear, that some files will be deleted.

While in the previous CSP preview, the previews updated smoothly without crashing, in this new one it almost always crashes, but why... 🤦‍♂️

Unfortunately with the latest csp update there is a problem with the generation of previews which continually crashes.
